Cherry is an outgoing girl- her bubbly personality and blaze sort of air to her give off that kind of "I don't really give a shit what you have to say about me" sort of vibe. She makes friends easily but it's keeping them that's the problem. An insecurity of not being good enough often causes her to push people away and getting close to people isn't something she's really willing to do. Everyone that's ever gotten close to her has either died or realized that they want nothing to do with her, so she's planning on sparing herself the bullshit and just kind of wants to fly solo while out and about in New York. Does that mean she's unwilling to have friends or any sort of a social life? Of course not. She's actually really stoked to meet people out here, but doesn't plan on really letting them in. What? Don't look at her like that. You'd be the exact same way had you gone through some of the stuff she has.

Enemies aren't something Cherry is unfamiliar with. Her in your face attitude and bitchy demeanor when she's drunk has gotten her into quite a few sticky situations. She doesn't really mind, though, and isn't afraid to stand her ground in a fight. The girl might be tiny, but she can bust out a mean right hook if you ever get in her way.

And finally, lovers. Though Cherry has had a few relationships in high school, she's yet to actually find herself in anything committed. She's not really looking for anyone and knows that she probably will never find anyone because of how unwilling she is to let anyone in. Her in your face demeanor prevents anyone from knowing how insecure she really is, which is something that, as far as she's concerned, she'll never let go of.

so, this is the character that immediately wanted to get to know cherry when i read your app. xD cameron travels a lot, so i feel like the two of them could have met before cherry moved to nyc, because that gives past history and i kind of like that happening haha. cam's absolutely the type of person to just go and get a tattoo on a whim, because she does everything on a whim, so i can see that happening - maybe that's even how they met in the first place? ooh, or, that's what she was planning to do, but she came in drunk off her face and was clearly not in her right mind and cherry decided against permanently inking something into her skin? cameron also wants to hook up with her, or at least flirt a hell of a lot, so there's that too. xD cam's exactly the same with her kind of fuck the world attitude, and the fact that she genuinely expects everybody to leave her at some point or other, but she's a really good friend to have and i feel like they could get along.<p><br>


i don't have any other immediate ideas for my other characters knowing her beyond chance meetings, which i'm always happy to do. i also play abby, isabelle and akemi. i kind of like the idea of her and isabelle not getting along that well; perhaps cherry's kind of a bitch when drunk at a bar or something, and izzy's sensitive and takes everything personally, which would then lead her to being distant in the future. uhm, other than that, no major ideas leap out, but they'd all be happy to meet her.

Cherry & Liam

Once he met her he'd get a crush on her in a moment. Shes bright and artistic and someone Liam would love spending time with. He is also the squishist boy you've ever met and would constantly being doing nice things for her just to see her smile. He's good at knowing something is up with people, and though he wouldn't pry would try to see genuin emotion, perferably happiness. :3 This is as articulate as I get at 7am. (also looks like less not in a posting box thing)

Ben goes to college in Albany, but he also visits NYC frequently. He's extremely friendly and outgoing and genuinely so. He basically tries to make friends with practically everyone he meets and once he makes one, he'd pretty much do anything for them. He's also pretty random and often hyped up, so they could easily meet in a bar or club. Or he'd probably also be the type to just out of the blue think about going to to get a tattoo. He doesn't always think things through. But, I could see him getting along with her.

ADRIAN & CHERRY

I could see Adrian knowing her. He probably has gotten tattoos or followed friends in while they had work done. He doesn't make friends easily. While he's social and outgoing, he also had severe trust issues and believes that everyone's out for themselves and/or going to disappoint him. He mostly only uses people, because he figures that's how most social interaction is -- everyone using someone else for something. He's a drug dealer that basically hangs out in the party scene most of the time. But on the surface, he's just outgoing and out for fun, so I can see him getting along with her on that level. Though if they were to meet at a bar or a party where drinking was involved, their attitudes could probably get them into a pretty dramatic fight. Since Adrian has a huge attitude problem and fights easily.

CHRISTIAN/AARON & CHERRY

I also have Christian and Aaron, but I couldn't think of any initial ideas for either of them. Chris is a journalist out of Albany. He's a columnist that writes about everything from politics and government to entertainment. And Aaron teaches forensic science at NYU. They could meet by chance, of course, but other than that I don't have any ideas for these guys, but I'm open if you do.
