These are the people that have been drawn to the village from outside, for whatever reason but generally because they're looking to investigate the rumors about the town. Investigators are people native to Iceland but until their arrival, did not make their residence within the town.

These are the people that have come from outside Iceland for various reasons. Some really are tourists, others are people that have come to Iceland on business or to investigate. Something they all have in common is that somehow they found themselves wandering into Leyndarmal.
