Okay....so it's not really DDP, but who cares? It's me, Vicky! To those who know me, no explanation is neccessary, but to those who don't, you'll soon find out that I'm one of the biggest female wrestling fans out there. My taste for wrestlers and wrestling is pretty eclectic (if I must say so myself). But let me put it out there right now - I'm mostly known for my undying love for the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels and the Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle. I'm also known for being an avid fan of Stephanie McMahon (Yay! She was on Raw this week!). For those who are curious, here's but a few of the many wrestlers and divas I've grown to admire (and in some cases, drool over). In no particular order:
The Undertaker: He's pretty much the reason I've been a wrestling fan for all of these years (I'm 18, by the way, just so you know). It's amazing how far he's come since his debut. I'm proud to say that I've pretty much been there since the beginning. I've witnessed all but one era - the Ministry Undertaker. To me, there's nothing like the ringing of the gong and the warning of the organs. No one can play the part of the Undertaker like Mark Calaway. He's a living legend in my book. Much respect.....much respect....
Shawn Michaels: Say what you will. To me, he's still a sexy boy. (I'm Shawn's "Heartbreak Babe" for life!!!!!) I don't care if he's 40 years old. (Ladies, that's the beautiful thing about wrestling. To quote the Rock - IT DOESN'T MATTER! The outsiders don't understand us, but the insiders do! Holla if ya hear me!) Mad respect. He's another reason why I was a fan then and still am one today. He proves week in and week out that he's the real deal. He's paved the way so that smaller wrestlers like Eddie Guerrero (miss ya, dude!) and John Cena can take the gold. And his being a serious born-again Christian makes me respect him even more! He's not 'cha boy toy! (By the way, all in favor of HBK inducting Sensational Sherri at the Hall of Fame, give me a "Boooooy Toooooooy"......or if you prefer Austin's version, be my guest!)
Eddie Guerrero: The first Mexican wrestler I ever took into account. Funny, smart, spiritual, respectful, awesome. Just like I said about Shawn, I respect Eddie even more knowing that he turned his life over to God. After reading his book, I feel like I understand all the things he went through and it's great to know that he overcame his demons. Mad respect for our future Hall of Famer. Rest in peace, Eddie....Remember the song "Here Without You" by 3 Doors Down? Perfectly describes Eddie. Also, listen to the words in "In Loving Memory" by Alter Bridge. That song, I think, should've been used instead of the Johnny Cash one. (Not that Cash's was bad, just not reflective enough of Eddie.)
Kurt Angle: Can't forget him. The one I've named my username after (KurtsOlympicPrincess). Tremendous athlete. Olympic gold all the way. Who can say "no" to that! He truely is the Wrestling Machine bar none. His skill is flawless and he's one of the main reasons I'm a fan today. What I've said about Undertaker, Shawn, and Eddie can be said of him as well. He won the Olympics with a broken freakin' neck! Deserves to be champion!!!!
Stephanie McMahon: Independent and doesn't take crap from nobody. I love the lady. She can hold her own and she's vicious as a heel. Nobody does it like her. She really fits the McMahon mold. I love the way she carries herself and I think she's a great example of a strong, powerful woman. Hail Stephanie! Beware of her slap, though! LOL!
Trish Stratus: She's earned her wings. Over the years, she has improved greatly. She's more than just a diva. She really is a
wrestler. That's what we need in this business - strong women who can kick butt and take names! I gain more respect for her every time I see her perform. She brings credibility to female wrestling. (If only Vince could realize this....)
Just a few wrestlers and divas, like I said. I'm glad to be at this forum seeing that we're all friends here! (To those who remember:

)
