1) To join this site, you must be over thirteen or have the permission of a parent or guardian.
2) All are allowed to create multiple accounts as long as they have contacted a member of the staff and gained permission. If not, or the member has recently breached the terms of service, the account will be deleted without delay. Do not attempt to create an account without asking first.
3) Stay literate. This is a role-play site. Each post should have a minimum of 5-6 sentences, i.e. a paragraph. If your role-playing sample does not reflect these properties, you will be asked to change it. If your sample does not meet standards, you will not be able to role-play. 7331 5P34K and chtspeek are highly discouraged on all boards but the ones under miscellaneous.exe.
4) Thieving/Pirating is greatly frowned upon. Do not steal art, characters, role-play samples, etc. You will be warned twice, and then your account will be deleted.
5) Racism, flaming, and cussing is frowned upon. However, where racism and flaming are both zero-tolerance, the restrictions on swearing is looser. While a few well-placed curses here and there add to the flavor of role-playing, extreme vulgarity will earn you a warning. 6) Passwords are passwords. Do not give out any of the passwords we give you, please, as they are there for a reason. The password for the registration.file board is: da capo
7) Please keep threads PG to PG-13. Posting past this threshold will result in deletion of the thread and a warning. If you have a problem with a thread’s content, please PM a staff member.
8) Do not give out personal information about other posters. Be sure to get permission beforehand. This is common courtesy. Personal information includes real names, email addresses, private conversations, etc. If they release the information first, it's fair game, but you should not take the initiative.
9) Do not use the PM boxes to spam other posters. When you are found, you will be warned, and if caught enough times, your account will be deleted. Any spam posted in threads will also be deleted.
10) Asking to be put on the staff is the fastest way to not be placed on it. We’ll call you, so to speak. The access code for your application is: Forte.
11) Your character cannot have any unrealistic powers, pasts, abilities, or personality traits. This means Mary-Sues/Gary-Stus, God-Modding, or Ultimate Characters! If you need clarification on any part of the above, please contact a staff member.
12) When making avatars and signatures, we would prefer you choose a real-life ‘face’ as opposed to a cartoon, anime, self-drawn, etc. face. While not required, it would keep in the way of things at Al Fine.
