Natural disasters, crashing economies, and catastrophic battles were almost destroying the planet. As a result, the countries of Earth banded together, forming one large nation to try and alleviate the world situation. Unfortunately, the struggle for control led to a frantic scramble for power...
The organization, known now simply as The NATION, began a totalitarian rule. Though at first the government boosted trade and relations, their grip soon tightened. Freedoms were leeched away, rights removed, and personal expression denied. The people, literally brainwashed, became little better than robots.
That was forty years ago. Now, a resistance has formed, calling itself P.U.N.K. Organization. Somehow, music and art has the ability to 'revive' the dormant conscious of the people. P.U.N.K.'s leaders, realizing this after having been 'revived' themselves, have set to working to bring the world back from under The NATION's thumb.
