welcome to wellington
and when the clock strikes twelve
will you find another boy to go and kiss and tell?
cause you know i never will
i think we should strike a match
we'll hold it to the wind to and see how long it lasts
we can make the time stand still
Wellington Academy; located in Glendon, Connecticut. Home to 358 students, this school is probably one of the best boarding schools on the East Coast. A lot of the students have went onto bigger and better schools, some of which being Harvard and Yale. The students are usually always orderly and behaved. And this year is no different. At least, that’s how it looks from Administration’s eyes . . .
All is not well in the student population: over the summer, one of the most popular boys in the school committed suicide. No one had expected it from anyone at the school, let alone a golden boy like seventeen year old Thomas Richards. This boy was the student body president for three years and also was the captain of the lacrosse team. Surprisingly, only a few students actually care about his death – and the people who really do care were his closest friends.
This year, people are a bit more reserved, though scandal and lust are soon riding shotgun in the students’ lives. Rumor has it that there was an orgy in the weight room last Saturday; that two students may be pregnant – one a senior, the other a freshman; that the new English teacher is hooking up with one of the senior nerds; that three girls were caught making out together in their room but yesterday. Who’s to trust? Do you tell no one, or kiss and tell?
