Shruiken dashes through the trees, mats almost never touching ground. He growls, wandering if others roamed these lands. He slowly paced, his mats now almost allways touching the ground. He started toward the forest, seeing whatever there was to see. His this frame easily glided past the bunched up trees. He tail hanged low, his ears were fell against his head. He listnened, shadow orbs watching every branch sway from a small gust. He felt safer, and went to a walk. His mats touched the ground every step he took, and accedently steeped on a fallen pine twig. It snapped, and caused a lot of noise. Shruiken heard the echo, as it bounced of the pine trees. He had hoped no one heard it.

The forest was eerily silent, the only sound coming from the wind that whisteled in and out of the thick trees. A caw could be heard here and there along with the chattering of a squirrel or two. But regardless of the life snaking it's way cheerily through the lush forest, something seemed oddly out of place..
The white pelt struck out boldly against the backdrop of the trees, emerald optics doing nothing but seeming to eerily glow against the white fluff that covered her body. She had awoken early this morning, her night of torturous dreams finally coming to an end. However, regardless of the visions that had haunted her only hours before, her features were in a bright smile, pink tongue lolling out of the side of her mouth as she wound her way back and forth through the trees. The scent of a newcomer was even stronger than when she had first entered the forest and thus she sped up, muscles rippling with the increased pace. At long last the fae burst from the foliage, emerald gaze suddenly colliding with another figure. A soft bark was emmitted and tassle wavered high above her signifying her intentions. She was being polite and yet at the same time warning the intruder of her rank. After yesterday she didn't think she was up to another 'misunderstanding' and thus she stood her stand, plummage wagging and features twisted in a welcoming smile. "Allo, welcome to Hell's Flame." |

Shruiken awoke, half scared, and half still asleep. He opened his eyes wearly, only to see a fae of suprior rank. He yawned, and stood up. His curled back was taken over by a long stretch. He showed his sumbissive over to her by tucking his tail between his legs, and whimpering.

Emerald optics gazed intently at the startled wolven before her and she offered a polite smile, slowly reclining upon haunches, thick tassle folding around her. "I'm Jostli, Eta here at Hell's Flame. Did you come looking for acceptance or to merely pass through?" |

I came for acceptance. He gazed up at her, his shadowish eyes proved nothing to her. He padded off in front of her, and said, " Am I accepted into this wonderous land." He bowed once more.

Gaze held his and she offered a small smile.
"Aye, that you are. Welcome to Hell's Flame Wolf Pack. Our lands are yours." And with that she dipped her muzzle before turning, sprinting off, seemed duty was calling not so faintly at the moment and as much as she hated to leave the newcomer behind, she knew she had no choice. /END/ |
