welcome!
a war has been brewing since the dawn of time. vampire v. mortal. it had been detained when the offspring of the first vampire dethroned their queen. time passed, the war quelled to a time of mild peace but all that has changed, now.
after the defeat of lilith and the hunters, the city has found itself in the middle of a new war. with one enemy gone, the vampires seem to be facing an old enemy - the werewolves. caught in the middle of all of this? the shape shifters. they're being forced to pick sides or risk becoming just like the mortals the wolves and leeches hunt.
which side will you choose? can the war be won or will the world fall to a reign of darkness and blood? choose now or fall with the weak.

Sometimes, you just had to slip away. For Aleksandr, that feeling was becoming more and more frequent and pushing. He had nothing better to o when Svetlana was busy. When she had the time, they'd sit and talk and enjoy the company of one another but, when she had matters to attend to, it left Sasha with a lot of time on his hands. Lazarus was playing with his new toy and Jacoby was rarely ever willing to give him any sport. The man didn't know what to do with him. Lazarus had welcomed him into the house as a guest and, from his understanding of the stories abut what had happened after hurting his pets, Lazarus was not going to take kindly to Jacoby causing problems with Sasha. He wasn't childish enough to start problems if Jacoby wasn't going to retaliate and if he had orders to leave him alone so Sasha had pretty much marked Jacoby off of his list. So that left him with many burning questions and, now that he had been taken in and was monitored so that he was eating properly, it was safe for him to go out and into the city on his own. He even had a car to drive! St. James had a brief conversation with him and, upon getting a "feel" for the man, decided which car would suit him best. When Aleksandr's day man finally returned, it was a car that not only pleased him but seemed to show his personality to a perfect description. The sleek, black, German made beauty had everything he could have possibly wanted in a car and so much more. The leather interior was, by far, the greatest part of it all. In short, he was more than a little pleased with the work of the mortals and he enjoyed walking but he loved the car. It was such a better way to cruise about and it looked better when you were bringing home your next meal...
Alexandr had taken the time to make sure that all of his affairs for the day were in order before he went out and took to the town. Dressed in a black suit with a black trench coat to cover himself with, he headed out to his motor and went off for a long drive. It wasn't that he was overwhelmed by a feeling of melancholy, he was just in a contemplative mood and he wanted to be alone for a while to take the time to think. He had nothing better to do, anyway. He'd spent weeks trying to stir Lazarus to life. Now that he'd accomplished his mission, the thing that had taken up so much of his time had fallen away and he no longer had to worry about that. So, now, he was left without a thing to do and he decided that it wouldn't hurt to get out and really look at the city. He'd done something of a tourist thing when trying to entertain Laz and he'd wandered around while he had been in search of food but everything had just been a daze to him, more or less. He'd been more focused on finding his food than his way and his walking searches usually ended in a taxi cab because he didn't make his dinner walk too far. With everything else that he did to show them that he wasn't going to leave them for the worse, why would he put them on a Bataan march? If this was going to be his new home, he was going to make sure that he felt like he knew the place. Forcing himself to become familiar with the city was a priority that he figured he needed to look into.
He'd left the car some blocks back, on the street. The river was calling to him and he didn't feel like parking in the docks. Often times, they had a habit of relocating or missing something that was vital to driving the vehicle. For some reason, the docks just weren't safe for valuable things. Sasha had made the walk between the parking space and the docks, only to find himself standing on the ledge of a pier and looking down at the dark water. The tide was pulling in and the waves lapped at the wooden supports. So lost in his own thoughts and shown up by the age of the vampire that approached, he hadn't even heard the other man draw near to him until he felt the presence. Turning around, Aleksandr looked over the man in the briefest of fashions and prepared himself to fight. His muscles tensed ever so slightly and his feet spread a little wider but he wasn't about to make an aggressive move. This was all about defenses. He wasn't looking for a fight but there were some out there who wouldn't hesitate. He had to be ready for anything, especially in a city like this.

Reclusive would be the word to describe Lucien. He did not know any of the older vampires and had never even bothered to meet Lazarus. He would often stay in his house and work in the basement until nightfall. He ignored invitations that the others would give him. He had no interest in going to social events that revolved around the drama. Tonight however was a special night. He had already eaten his fill and had the rest of the night to explore. He didn't own a car, simply because he found them a waste of time and money. He was perfectly content with walking everywhere although he was not good on his feet. He didn't understand why vampires would buy them if they were stronger and faster the humans. He didn't see the point in material things that did not help with his studies or why humans and vampires alike wanted them. He decided tonight would be the perfect night to go and see the river. It was a beautiful place that he had visited with Amelie to collect samples of the water to view the phytoplankton. This place was a good place to get samples for him to observe. This time he sensed someone else by the river. He curiously wandered around in the darkness figuring that whoever was there would leave as soon as they sensed him or at least be tolerable. After pondering for a bit he decided that the presence he sensed was that of another younger vampire. This young vampire posed no threat to Lucien. As a matter a fact he could probably take him with his eyes closed. He could wander with no fear of being attacked or pestered. No young vampire with common sense would bother Lucien or try to pick a fight with him. This vampire wasn't nearly as old as Lucien and wasn't nearly as strong or fast. Lucien knew this instantly.
A soft breeze blew his long red hair as his emerald green eyes peered into the distance. He focused on a figure. A tense figure. He walked close enough to see but did not invade the other vampire's personal space. Lucien sniffed the air curiously and looked over at Aleksandr. He was a bit taller and more muscular then Lucien. He looked over at the young one and tilted his head curiously to the side studying this other vampire. He knew beneath the skin that the muscles were tense and that he was nervous. Lucien could understand why the other vampire was ready to fight him. After all he could be quite lethal. "I have no interest in fighting anyone unprovoked" Lucien said hoping that this vampire was going to relax. He hated making enemies. Lucien sat down in the grass and curiously looked up at the night sky and the stars. He looked up at them curiously and could see consolations. He wasn't used to being outside and observing them outside. He looked over at the other vampire. "What are you doing out here?" Lucien asked curiously. He had made the assumption that everyone else was a social butterfly and he was alone in the universe and every other vampire enjoyed socializing with each other and climbing the social ladder. He stared back up at the consolation known as Andromeda. He pointed up at it curiously wondering if the other vampire would recognize it. "Do you like astrology?" Lucien asked curiously. Lucien obviously was not like the other vampires that Aleksandr had encountered. He was extremely intelligent and a lot nerdier then all of the others.

There seemed to be a lot of that going on around this city. What happened to the vampires who were enthralled with their immortality and threw themselves into being apart of the world that they'd been deprived of when they were mortal? The world was always changing around him and, yet, it stayed the same. Things like this made him ever so curious, he couldn't help but go about and discover all that he could. Then again, he had no right to speak. He'd withdrawn from society for a while to mourn the loss of his family but, now, he was getting better and he was ready to enjoy this world, again. Humans were such interesting creatures to watch. They spent so much time worrying and fussing and thinking that everything was ever so important. Well, perhaps it was to them. Their lives were shorter so they had less time to do things but, still... Was it not better to just relax and enjoy what you had? He had watched a man be murdered in an alleyway, all for his wallet. When the assailant ran past him, he grabbed the man and finished his life. Upon inspecting the wallet, Sasha found that there was only three hundred dollars in his wallet. The price of human life had severely depreciated. He couldn't possibly understand any of it but that was what made watching it fun. To have lived so long with these people and to still have them be a curious mystery... who couldn't love that?
As he presented himself, Sasha's eyes focused on the figure shrouded in darkness. It seemed as if he was inspecting him, looking him over in more of curiosity than anything else. He had no idea how to take that one but he decided that it was safer to just stand there or a short while and not do anything before he brought trouble down, upon himself. When the being spoke, though, a sort of mild confusion and curiosity softened his eyes and Sasha, too, angled his head in the slightest of manners. After a long moment, he stepped back, out of his stance. It wasn't rare to find a non-aggressive vampire but it certainly wasn't common. With his age, Sasha could have expected him to find humor in his mere three hundred years. He didn't know how old this one was but he knew that he was far older than he. This one, though, was curious. He seemed to be doing nearly the same thing Sasha had been doing - just wandering about to kill time. "I thought this a nice place to just... be," he replied in a slow and slightly unsure tone. He had no idea what this guy's angle was but it wasn't like he had nay business to know. Raising his brows in a way to say "why not humor him" to himself, Aleksandr looked up at the sky, his hands going into his pockets. "I've always enjoyed looking at the stars but I've never bothered to familiarize myself with them. Here, especially." With so much light pollution, there was really no point in stargazing but, at his home in Spain? They'd spent many nights out in the gardens to enjoy themselves under the stars.

In all reality Lucien envied the humans, the way they could live and the way they could die. Humans could find some sort of meaning in a mere 1/10th of Lucien's life. He'd lived for what felt like an eternity. He'd look death in the eyes at least twice and yet somehow he'd always managed to come out unscathed. Age never affected him and he'd remained attractive after all these years. The depression of their kind would continue. They'd all continue to live for all eternity and some of them would never die. They'd all be constantly floating through this stream of consciousness. This is what made it nearly meaningless for Lucien. He felt as if he had no choice in what was happening. He felt like no matter how hard he wished or how hard he worked he was doomed to face this world alone. He felt consistently embarrassed and ashamed at how many humans had been able to find love in their short life spans. He didn't like thinking about an eternity alone. He felt like humans had it so easy and truly envied them and their simple way of living. Humans died to easy. That man Lucien had tortured in the park was so easy to kill, his muscles and tendons were so weak. It was too easy to break them and too easy to destroy them. He'd killed countless humans and thought absolutely nothing of it for a while. Finally he'd come to terms with it. He hadn't thought about the value of human life in a while and didn't plan to.
Lucien had taken fascination with the stars when he was just a mere mortal. He used to stare into the stars and wondered why they were so gorgeous. Why they were always shined so brightly. He often would drift away from camp to observe them. When he first got a telescope he was thrilled and ran off to observe the sky. Perhaps it was one of the only things that hadn't changed. Lucien looked over at Sasha. He could see him clearly. Lucien's eyes were curious and he studied the other, much younger vampire curiously. "How old are you?" Lucien asked curiously and then thought for a moment. He remembered his age. "I am almost a thousand years old." Lucien looked over at him again. "Perhaps I am getting a bit old." he said chuckling softly. Lucien still felt young. 900 or so years went by and he felt no different then the day he had "died" he did not remember how he died and what happened afterward. It was all a blur. "I can see them really clearly....perhaps I'm just odd," Lucien said thinking a bit staring back at them. "They are quite interesting. The mythology part is anyway," Lucien stood up stretching. His motions were silent but almost human-like. He was clumsier then almost everyone. Lucien stared over at the other vampire curiously extending a hand. "Forgive me for not introducing myself, my name is Lucien." He had forgotten to introduce himself earlier. He obviously didn't get out much.

Aleksandr didn't mind living for as long as he had - he just didn't like living it alone. That was the real crux of the matter. Eternity was best served with someone at your side. In Russia, it had been the nobility, Span had his family. Now, he was fortunate enough to have Lazarus and his family but it wasn't his own family. He could only imagine how long it would last. He needed to be out on his own, leading his own house, anyway. It would take some time but it would happen and he would make his family, again. Until then, he would enjoy what he had and take time to reconsider things and how he wanted to go about making a safer place for his home and family. Unlike others of his kind, Sasha made it a point to spend time amongst the human hordes. It was, perhaps, why he had no issue with them. He didn't take pleasure in causing them pain and he didn't go out of his way to kill them. He even had a few very good mortal friends. It was probably why he was able to hold onto his humanity for as long as he had. He had never taken on a pet and he didn't think that they were necessary but he was a rare breed and something that many referred to as weak. For that reason, he didn't socialize with many vampires and he was always a little weary about them being around. He could only assume that they would think him weak enough to just attack and pick off.
Oh, Sasha could see them but still not as properly and clearly as they should be. Of course, with a pair of eyes that were nearly seven hundred years older than his own, he was sure that Lucien was getting a much better view than what he was. "Just barely over three hundred," he conceded. The man was, obviously, older than he was. It didn't matter if he let loose the truth of his accumulated years. Brows raised in an impressed fashion. He hadn't met someone that old for quite some time. He didn't think that too many of them would have bothered with London after everything else that had happened but, obviously, he was mistaken. "A bit," he chuckled and lowered his head in a futile attempt to hide his grin. Forgive him if he was amused by the comment. Obviously, Lucien didn't mind too much. Sasha nodded in agreement. "I've heard a few stories but I can never pick them out in the sky. Then again, I've never tried. Singling them out... It kind of takes the majesty out of it." The part about there being so many to be lost in a sea of lights appealed to him. He didn't want to single them out. Aleksandr looked down at the hand and accepted it. he couldn't remember the last time that he'd actually shaken the hand of another immortal but he decided to go with it. "Aleksandr. Suppose I should call myself equally rude."

Lucien had spent the majority of his long life in solitude. He didn't have many people who sought him out for the purpose of friendship or love. When people looked for him they wanted answers to age old questions. It was always assumed that he somehow knew more than anyone else. Deep down within him he wanted friends, someone to love and perhaps to be part of a family. He lied about this many times claiming that solitude was best for everyone and that he learned the most this way. He had lied about it for years and years. He never once made his wishes known or public. He feared that other vampires and some humans would see his thoughts and wishes as a weakness. Lucien had some unanswered questions on about the human body and the immune system. This was the only reason he tortured them so, when he was angered he could not help but shred something, if that something happened to be a human then so be it. Lucien was seriously alone in all of his actions. Lucien envied men who had love and friends in their small one hundred year existence. He didn't understand why something he had searched the world for fell so easily into others hands. Lucien wished he had it in him to socialize and to talk to others. He wished he could make dates with women, vampires and humans alike. He wished he could be awake and alive in the world, instead of dormant within his lab.
Lucien chuckled at thinking of his age in relation to the younger vampire. He knew he was a lot older then those around him but he felt so awkward, naive and child-like. "I think I have lived at least ten human lifetimes, I feel like I should be telling children to stay off of my lawn," he said making another stupid joke. Lucien looked back at the stars, "As a whole, they are beautiful but each one has it's own beauty to it...some shine brighter then others," he thought aloud. He loved the sky and the stars. He loved observing them close up. "Some of them are far older then I." Lucien laughed smiling at Aleksandr again. Lucien could outlive many of the stars in the skies if time allowed it. Maybe one day he'd be able to walk outside again and see solar eclipses and marvel at their beauty again. He wanted to see them in person, like he was able to when he was human. He could find pictures but none would ever be as vivid as seeing it right in front of you. He smiled looking over at the other vampire. "Pleased to meet you." The handshake was a custom invented to allow you to see if the other was carrying any weapons. Since Lucien's paranoia often kicked in he always shook the hands of his acquaintances, no matter how odd it seemed. Lucien saw the world vividly with extremely careful details. His vision was far greater then any mortal or young vampire.

Vampires were still very much like humans in the way that they lived. There were some mortals out there who chose not to deal with others. Was it a surprise that there would be vampires like that? No matter the reason for it, it was no surprise. It was the same thing for those who always had people around them. Sasha had grown up in a very social scene - he wasn't one willing to give that up. It didn't mean that those alone wanted to be alone - some just didn't find the appeal in a large crowd. Even the most horrid of vampires wanted someone around them. After all, look at Jacoby! Okay, that was a personal and low blow... Still, the point was that vicious and cold vampires still kept others around them - be it other vampires of the same caliber or their mortal victims. It was all very... human of them. Most spent their entire existence working on making a clear line to define what was vampire and what was mortal but, aside from the physiological differences, you couldn't really find one because of such things. Don't ever tell a vampire that, though. While humans thought it wonderful to be a vampire, at least the vampires they thought that they knew, most vampires were glad to be free of their mortal confines.
Sasha released a very surprised but amused laugh. He'd never heard another vampire say something like that but the imagery was very nice. He'd have to use that one on Lazarus when he decided to complain about his age anymore. It may have been stupid but since when did vampires have a keen sense of humor? There were hardly any open vampire comics out there and, if there were, he had yet to hear of them. "I enjoy picking out the different colors and watching them flicker in the sky but I can't help but remember that the sun is a star and, then, I think of what all of those tiny stars could do to me if they were only closer," he grinned, sardonically. What Sasha really enjoyed were the pictures that the scientists were able to get of the colorful dust clouds and solar systems. The myriad of hues was mesmerizing. Slowly, he nodded. He could imagine so. Many of them probably were, in fact. The sun had been burning long before Lazarus was introduced to his mortal years, surely it wasn't the first star! While it was tradition to check for weapons, Sasha had long ago left that. If someone had a sword or a gun, what good would that do them? Humans had given it up and, since he interacted with so many, so had he. It as what they had to do in order to survive; they evolved. Sasha took his hands and shoved them into his pockets and listened to the bustling city around him. Even with the hour, it was still so alive. Who couldn't love the modern age? When he'd been turned, nearly everything would have been closed at sundown. Here, now, there were some places that were open twenty-four hours a day! Such miracles would have never been considered so long ago.
"I was not told that there was another one so old in the city. Are you new to this place?" Lazarus hadn't said anything but that didn't mean that he didn't know about him. It just might not have come up in conversation and that was fine. He would be asking his friend about this, though. It was probably something that he would want to know about, if he didn't. Threat or not, it was a good idea to know who was playing in your house.

As a mortal Lucien always thought that vampires and immortal creatures had it easier. He was incorrect in this sense. Vampires had to deal with constantly losing friends and lovers. Over time, ninety years or so all humans would die of natural causes. Immortals were either destroyed by hunters or other immortals and on occasion, would walk out into the sun when the pain had become unbearable. Here he was, he'd hidden himself away. He had knowledge of what could and probably would happen. The very human fear of losing all that he knew and loved was so chilling that he had closed himself off. He had become anti social and more socially awkward then when he was a human. The older vampires no matter how cruel they were had power. They drew the others in like moths to the flames. With the promise of protection many were loyal to the elder vampires. Lucien was shy, awkward and sweet, he himself was unable to find anyone who would consider themselves his friend. Deep down inside, although he denied it he was glad that he was immortal and he was glad that he would live forever.
"If they were any closer they could incinerate me but it's nice to know that I am not invincible. I take a bit of comfort in it," Lucien continued "The stars are the small fragment of light I can look at without setting myself ablaze. They don't irritate my skin or eyes either and it's sort of nice." Lucien was feeling especially odd today. He felt out of place in this city. He was odd without even trying. "Stars are made of plasma...they spend 90% of their lifetime fusing hydrogen to produce helium....." he drifted off rambling about stars in vocabulary that no one but Lucien could understand. Stars were the gorgeous thing that Lucien had almost remained the same. He'd seen the death of a couple stars. "Most stars are between 1 billion and 10 billion years old but the oldest star that humans have discovered is 13 billion years old..." he drifted off again. Lucien shook his head figuring that this younger vampire had no idea what he was talking about. Lucien smiled. "I don't get out much," he explained grinning looking at the other vampire curiously. The tradition of checking weapons had not yet faded from Lucien. He never really needed to check for weapons but it was just a custom that he had developed a while ago. If a human or younger (much less intelligent) vampire came at him he could easily disarm them and destroy them. He shrugged it off.
Lucien looked over at Sasha "Honestly, I spent my mortal life in London, most of my life as an immortal in my library, I came back a while ago. I'm not new, many people are just unaware of the fact that I exist. I'm sort of reclusive," he said smiling. He knew that Lazarus existed but he had never met him or spoken with him. He wondered if he was just under the radar. "In this city I believe that there is one vampire older then me, Lazarus, I've never met him and he probably does not know that I exist." Lucien was the furthest thing from a threat. He didn't want power or anything of that variety. All he wanted were friends and someone he could fall in love with. He wondered why people wanted such power and such control.

HOMGZ! i'm SO sorry that i didn't get this up sooner! i fail and give you permission to flog me.
It was far more easy to live one short life than a hundred of them. When he'd first dealt with his death, he'd told himself about the promises that being immortal held. After the few few moves, however, he realized just how lonely life could be if you didn't know how to live it. It was probably why he'd elected to stay amongst the mortals. While they were always dying around him, he had different people around him to keep him company. It was part of why he'd never taken on a pet and turned the mortals that he'd found of interest to him. This way, he wasn't asking to have people dying around him but he wasn't getting too attached to people to let them fade out of his life. Of course, no vampire connection was guaranteed, either. Either the vampires were killed or, they were too young and unable to handle their immortality or they were so old that they were detached and uninterested in surviving through anything more. Either way, it was almost impossible to handle it unless you thought of creating your own family to keep near and guide them in the right way. It was why he pushed Lazarus the way that he did. He couldn't stand that man pouting and huffing about life and how he hated it and he had to do something before he lost another friend to time.
Sasha chuckled at his comment. "No wonder I get a bit nervous when I see a falling star." He knew they weren't really stars but he always wanted to go off and find where it had landed and hope that there was something left of it for him to inspect. While he wasn't one for astrology, the question of if there was life out there always interested him and he thought that it might give them some answer or another. Of course, they'd left so much junk out in space from their explorations, it wasn't a surprise if all of the debris was from their own world and not another's. From there, he remained in silence and let the other man continue his educational speech. While most school children could tell him this, it was not something that they'd known when he was in school and, therefore, it was all a mystery to him. Still... "I rarely think of the sun as a star because they cannot hurt me the way the sun would. Putting it into perspective doesn't change the fact, however." The sun was still dangerous and he wouldn't look at it with the same reverence that he did the other stars. There were days when he wished he could watch the sun rise or set but he was not foolish and knew that he couldn't do that without risking harm to himself. It was for the best that he stayed where he was and admired these things in photographs and in picture films.
Aleksandr perked a brow of impress. "Really, now? How curious. And how does that sit with you? Being a recluse?" Moreover, why was he such? Sasha couldn't possibly place how something like that would appeal to anyone unless they were tired of loss that accompanied being a vampire - much like Lazarus had. "No, probably not. He's not from this city and only arrived here some centuries ago. He had other distractions on his mind... Had you heard of her? Of Lilith?" The younger ones who had not been apart of the clans vying for her had no idea of who she was but he was older and it made him curious. To meet another vampire far older than him... Suddenly, his young mind had been sparked with intrigue.

Lucien hardly could comprehend time because of how long he'd lived. Every second seemed like a small fragment that wasn't worth worrying about. He was not aware that he was immortal for the first hundred years. He thought that one day it would just be all over but what he saw was an eternity set out in front of him with no end in sight. He was alone and although he despised his loneliness he felt as if it was endless and would continue on forever and ever until he found a way to get away from it. He didn't know how to live for so long and how to continue living. Lucien was sure that death was not the end. He was certain that he'd continue on forever and ever. If he was going to die he didn't want to die without someone who cared for him and missed him. He wanted to have some sort of companionship and hoped that one day he'd have someone to love. That was all he needed. Maybe one day he'd decide to have pets and fledglings but for the meantime he had one goal. Lucien hated the idea of being alone and depressed. He loathed it all and hated the depressed feelings within him. He didn't want to in time lose his sanity and become a hollow body filled with nothing but sadness and despair.
"They actually aren't actual stars, they are more like meteors and they probably will not incinerate you or bring upon the next apocalypse." he recalled a crazy person believing that Venus would radiate some sort of gas that would cause the dead to walk the earth. Was Lucien alive or dead? Scientifically he was sort of alive he decided that he was not dead yet. Not to mention some scientists could probably make the argument that he was the walking dead. The fact remained that Lucien was not a vampire because of the radiation of Venus or anything of the sort. "Don't worry in 9.5 billion years the sun will either burn out or explode. Personally I don't think it has enough mass to supernova, the size will probably push earth away so we most likely won't be engulfed by a giant ball of fire." he said curiously looking at Sasha. He looked over curiously wondering what 9.5 billion more years would be like. Would he be stuck like this forever. He wondered if this hypothesis was even true. He thought for a couple moments and wondered if he'd ever be able to walk out in the sunshine, without cooking himself, again before it was gone forever. He wondered if he'd get to witness the massive explosion and be engulfed by a ball of fire. He wondered if one day it would just burn out and he'd be able to leave his home whenever he pleased. He hadn't thought about the sun in a while. It brought back odd childhood memories. He remembered his last sunset in vivid beautiful details. The way the oranges, pinks and purples blended themselves into the sky and the way the gorgeous sun glowed brightly. It was something he didn't appreciate as a human. He envied them now for this. They could see such a beautiful site any day.
"I did not choose this fate for myself. A woman drew me in with the promise of knowledge and being able to learn forever. I did not know what I was getting myself into. She bit me and I spent two centuries in a library with endless books...I know them all by heart now." he said looking over at Aleksandr "I spent almost two centuries in that library all by myself, the woman would bring me warm blood for me to drink and then would leave me alone. One day I escaped and realized that I was in there for far longer then I expected and that my world was gone and that I could no longer walk in sunlight. I never would of chosen my fate for anyone not even my worst enemy...I feel as if I am doomed to stay on this earth for an eternity all alone, my books aren't even my friends." He looked over at Aleksandr. "Of course I have heard of Lilith, I've researched her much more then a lot of the others. Personally I think it would be extremely dangerous to revive her..." he trailed off. "You know Lazarus?"
