etiquitte of UES [one] No god-moding. It's about the worst thing you could do. [two] Sigs must be around 450 x 150. Preferably smaller. Anything larger will be removed. And to be honest? It's a pain, so please, keep them the right size. Also, no more than one sig per character. It takes up space, and gets annoying to scroll through. Avatars, along the same guidelines, must be 100 x 100 or smaller. Preferably 100 x 100, as that's easiest to see. [three] As far as posting is concerned, this is an intermediate to advanced rp, so please write at least one good solid paragraph--give the next poster something to respond to. No one sentences [they make me squirm], nay, not even three sentences. For the moment, I'm going to say five sentences, but that by no means is a maximum. Oh, heavens, no. I love wordy people [I am, in fact, one myself]. The more you give the next person to work with, the better. And the more I love you. So, see, it's a win-win situation. [four] This RP is not rated, really. It's based on something I didn't create. And there's going to be sex. There's going to be drugs. And betrayal. If you can't handle it, don't join. [five] Stay active. Please post as much as you can. We all know there are some days where your muse simply won't work. But if you don't post an absence and are gone for two weeks, your character will be deleted and your celeb up for grabs. Sorry, dearies, it's just the way things go. [six] On the subject of celebs, please, please claim your celebrity. [claim board located [here]] I can't stress the importance enough; I don't want to see two characters running around with the same celebrity--it makes things less confusing. If you've got identical twins? And they simply must have the same celeb--run it by the admin, and we'll see. Otherwise? One celeb per character. [seven] One character per account. At the moment, you're limited to three characters, but they must all have separate accounts. It keeps things less confusing. Also, you must reach 50 posts before creating a new character, and have been a member for at least a week. [eight] Register with FIRST AND LAST names. First letter of each name CAPITALIZED. Or you'll be deleted. I'm not kidding. No numbers. Nothing like "crzychrldr097787". I'll get rid of you in a hot second. [nine] Try to use good spelling and grammar. I am a spelling fiend and there are those who are grammar obsessed. I realize that no one's perfect. But spell check is there for a reason, and as far as grammar goes, give it an honest try. [ten] Don't stray too much from the plot. Yeah, yeah, the all-amazing UESer and Brooklyn boy. It's been done. That's fine...but don't everyone do it. If you do, then it's no longer original. Original is amazing. It makes me grin. [eleven] Register your character before you post an application. That way you can modify it later if you so choose. In your application, be sure to put, somewhere, "holyomg! did you hear?!" On that note, you have no more than ONE WEEK to post your application. After that, your charrie will be deleted. But honestly, dears, a week is more than acceptable. [twelve] Don't pick fights with people out of character. Let's keep it a happy, nice environment, shall we? Sounds lovely. [thirteen] No double posting. Absolutely none while in character. It makes me cringe. I can't stand it. At all. Please, please, it's one of my biggest pet peeves. [fourteen] Out of respect, please don't request the same graphic from two people at one time. It's simply rude. Let's try to be nice people here. [fifteen] The Admin has the last word.
