To us in North America and other nations, it really looks odd at what style of games they play. A lot of their games that I see in EGM that they advertise are often extremely perverted, and I really don't know how they find it fun.

I'm not saying it wouldn't, but to their culture I suppose, a "perverted" game to us is a regular style of game to them.

It's just like that with their movies too.

its the same with anime. Their restriction laws are much lower over there. Thats why an anime show directed at kids in Japan would be directed towards teens in canada/usa. Also they are almost always HEAVILY edited

Only when it comes to 4kids, it's the #2 reason I boycott them.

Aye, on the subject of sex, Japan is much more lenient, despite having strict censorship laws. Still rather conservative compared to some parts of Europe though. You're probably talking about the dating sims, to be honest, I collect quite a handful of pics from them.

dry.gif Not the dirty bits of course, I'm not THAT pathetic. Alright maybe just this particular one right here... and that one... that one too and... alright I admit it, I love Tobari! XD

On movies, yeah, I saw Battle Royale last year, it's a movie about these 9th graders being shipped off to a deserted island under the BR Act, and they have 3 days to kill each other, or else all of the collars they're wearing explode, killing them all. Only one survivor is allowed. You can't get it in the US, mainly due to the fact that most publishers don't want to touch it, and the localization cost would be really high, but it's worth getting a hold of, trust me.
