+	Addison & Derek When we meet Derek, we assume he is single, after having spent the night with Meredith. With impeccable timing, we meet Derek’s wife, as he is taking Meredith on a date. It emerges that Derek left his wife and came to Seattle after finding Addison in bed with his best friend Mark. +	Addison & Mark Addison and Mark have been friends since Derek and Addison starting dating. All three of them were close friends. Addison and Mark become closer when Derek spent more time at the hospital rather with his wife. Derek caught Addison and Mark together in bed. Derek left and for two months Addison stayed with Mark. He brings out her softer side, and his love is even enough to get her to give up her messy apartment and move in with him. Burke proposed and Cristina said yes. When they meet, Meredith is not only sworn off men, she has also made a celibacy vow. Not only does Finn respect that, but four dates and two sleepovers in, he has not tried anything with Meredith. Meredith fears that her problems with men and her family issues will put Finn off, but that changes when she realizes that he is “scary and damaged” too. When he opens up, she kisses him.
