I'm sure they screen all these letters so I'm going to be very careful what I put in them. Do you remember the code you taught me when we used to make secret messages in case ma found them??

wish you were here bro, me and Sew were talking the other day outside of our barracks. the Needle nosed marshals here make us call them barracks instead of rooms. but anyway we were talking about our family backgrounds and did you know she was from India? i had no idea, she always looked african to me. so she was telling me that when she got here they thought she was crazy and made her look at a bunch of Ink blots. of course i had to tease her about them using Indian Ink for the tests. haha. this place isn't to bad but it does get pretty dull. it would be nice if they would give us something to listen to music to, at least an old Tape Player or something. But then again it might get stolen and they could have a rise in assault and Battery cases.

Letter from Vince to Johnny

Dear Johnny,

got your letter, it was nice to hear from you. ma and pop SENT their love. the house has been quiet since YOUR not around. i was working on the car today but i had to stop after i ran out of SUPPLIES. hope everything is going good there, be sure to listen to the wardens and DON'T GET into trouble. i don't know if there's any bugs going around there but there is here. i CAUGHT a cold from cash and i've been sneezing my head off. even our owl FAWKES seems sick, he doesn't eat as much as he normally does. anyway keep your NOSE clean and be sure to WEAR warm clothes since the weather will be getting cold soon. for now i got TO GO. love ya! -From Vince
