Title: Powers, Adam

Adam Powers - May 30, 2011 02:32 PM (GMT)
When I began my studies in dark magic, I learned one thing almost immediately. If one wants to attain true, unlimited power then they must first strip themselves of humanity. Humans are a race on this planet, this much is true but humanity is nothing but a concept. Power is its opposite. The human body is nothing but a shell and a mere shallow reflection of what the soul actually looks like. I learned such things in my study.

Humanity is a weak thing. Power being its opposite cannot coexist with any form of weakness within the human body. We are born with humanity and so therefore, we must kill it. Anything that is born can be killed with the correct amount of effort. It took me quite a while, but I managed effectively remove humanity from my body. In the world of magic, true and absolute power takes the form of what witches and wizards have dubbed "dark magic" or the "dark arts".

In order to true excel at the "Dark Arts", one must learn to fall in love with the most raw human emotions. Anger, fear, jealousy. The concept of pain must become your best friend. You must learn to love to accept it on a physical and mental level. Once one has excepted pain into their body and mind, as well as the concepts of anger, fear, and jealousy, invincibility can be achieved.

Anger at the weakness of humanity.
Fear of the gift of power being taken away.
Jealousy of those that are more powerful than yourself.
Pain in every aspect of life.

Remember this if you decide to look into the Dark Arts.
