If I had to sum up the experience in one word:

Unimpressed.

Microsoft (and many of it's fanboys) boast of new, and amazing graphics. PDZ yields graphics less impressive than timesplitters. That's a fact.

Perfect Dark Zero is also slow - boring. The guns are boring... the levels make it seem as if it takes forever to get to some action. The jetpacks are a joke, and just make you a bigger target. The vehicles are a joke. For some reason, the aiming is really awkward. Being an avid FPS gamer since DOOM, aiming is never a problem for me - until now. Why? I couldn't tell you!

All in all, I'm glad I wasn't duped into buying this fucking shitty system, or this fucking shitty game, unlike some of you. On that note, I'm so glad I have Battlefield 2. That game is actually fun.

Also, one thing about this game that sucks, that I cannot confirm, is that the single player mode sucks. I've heard nothing but bad things about. How anybody can stand playing PUNY DICK ZERO online is beyond me. devil.png

Now, for everyone who loves PDZ just because it's new, all I have to say is:

I WAS RIGHT ALL ALONG, AND YOU WERE WRONG! HAHAHA, FUCK YOU, AND YOUR MOTHERS. I HOPE YOUR MOTHERS GET SYPHILIS AND DIE.

The maps in PDZ are not the most impressive I have ever seen, and with only 6, there is not too much to choose from.

The pace is a lot slower than Timesplitters, as you found out.

As for BF2, I still have the game, and will still play the game with the rest of the clan. cool.gif

You're kidding me... there's only 6 maps?! If that's it they gotta have downloadable content right?

not right now, they don't.

see, with PDZ, they only have 6 maps, but the maps can be "randomized". all that means is, before the game starts, the game locks/unlocks random sets of doors to "change the layout". so basically, you've got technically-more than 6 maps, but only 6 different tilesets...

and the weapons really are boring. the only weapon i had fun with was the guided missiles. you fire off a rocket with your secondary fire, and you control the rocket.

Even with the randomized maps, there are still too few maps.

Yeah, PDZ is a passable game.

I wouldn't go so far as to call it "Teh SuxoRz!!" like my buddy Chris, though.

I spend 75% of my time on 360 in XBL Arcade. There are several promising games coming, though....promising being the key word (hell, FCI was promising).

I still don't regret buying the system itself. The 360 is truly optimized for online play and you can tell. I do wish for a cross-game clan support function...but that may come later.

Once it is fully BW compatible.....it will be sweeeeeet....
