The cafeteria was kind of crowded that day, some bands were promoting, others were just rehersing forsome show, in the case of the actors, well they were almost always working on something, if it wasn't a play, it was a drama or a movie and when they weren't in either of those, then they were in TV live shows! That is why the cafeteria was one of the places where the people in epica went to chill out and get some decent meal.

That day, a tall figure walked into the Cafeteria, his name was Kang Si Woo, he was an actor, most of the time a villain. And he was about to start the filming of his next drama called "Blood and honor".

He sat at a table and put a book and a small briefcase on the chair next to his, then he looked at the menu that was on the table, he was starving. He had just been in the last main meeting before the first day of filming.

Jisun had had an extremely rare (for her) indulgent breakfast, consisting of two slices of French toast. The meal had sent her to the gym for most of the morning in order to work the calories off. She wasn’t crazy about exercise, but even less appealing that spending a few hours on the various machines was the prospect of gaining weight. Jisun liked how much she weighed, and had no intention of putting on any extra whatsoever, even if the doctor for her last routine physical had told her that she was much too skinny for his liking.

But now that she’d worked off her breakfast and showered, Jisun needed to get her energy levels back up to where they had been pre-workout, and the cafeteria had more food options than POProcks’ dorm. She hunted about the cafeteria for a few minutes in search of an unoccupied spot, but when she was unable to find one she caught sight of a smaller table off to the side that was only half-occupied. And it was taken by someone she actually knew, rather than one of the multitude of trainees in the caf, who never knew what to do around her. Jisun picked her way through the crowded cafeteria and rapped her knuckles lightly on the tabletop to draw Siwoo’s attention up to her rather than have him keep staring at his book. He’d acted in one of POProcks’ music videos, and they always greeted each other when they passed in the halls. ”Mind if I join you?”

SIWoo was reading his script. He had already decided what he wanted as a lunch, so he went back to read his script, when suddenly he heard a knock, he looked at the table with a frown the he saw a delicate hand, he followed the figure of the hand to the arm and shoulder, then he jumped to the face and saw a familiar face.

"Jisun!, of course, have a sit!" he said looking at her. He remembered well when he met her. They had already seen each other, he had been 8 years in the company and as far as he knew she had been in it for 6 years. But the first time they were properly introduced, was when he was invited to be the actor for her band, Poprocks, He agreed and shoot the video with them.

Jisun offered him a smile and pulled out a chair so she could sit. ”Are you done with the menu, seonbae?” She asked, using the polite form of address for somebody more senior in the company than herself. It was a rhetorical question, really, as the menu wasn’t what he was reading, so she reached for it and started browsing through her options. She completely ignored the menu’s back page, which was where all the more “indulgent” choices were; what would be the point of eating something fatty when she’d just finished working off her breakfast?

”Have you been busy lately?” She asked, flicking her eyes between the menu and the actor. She set the menu down, having decided on what she wanted to eat, and watched him expectantly. Jisun peered curiously at the title printed on the cover of the one in his hands. How many scripts was he reading? There were at least a couple just on this table, for what she could see.

SiWoo looked at jisun when she talked about the menu, he hadn't been reading it for a while, but well she didn't know that, right? "sure," then he looked back at his script, he was trying to get his character well, it wasn't easy to play a splited personality guy! Then she put the menu on the table again. ""ready to order?" he asked and then smiled at her.

Then she asked if he had been too busy, well he had but he shouldn't overwhelm her with his stressed life. "kind of, I just came back from Japan, I filmed a new movie, but now I'm reading the script for a new drama I'm going to be in" he then closed the script and placed it front down to the table on the other scripts. how have you been? and the band?"

Jisun nodded. ”I’m ready,” she confirmed. ”What about you? What are you having?” It was a nicety, just making small talk. To be completely honest, Jisun had never gotten to know Siwoo better than as a friendly acquaintance since he’d worked with them for one of their music videos. She didn’t know what they did or did not have in common, so chatting up a storm wasn’t exactly easy.

She raised her eyebrows at his schedules. ”Sounds busy,” she commented. Well, that would at least explain why she hadn’t passed him in the halls in a while. Epika was a big place, but it wasn’t quite big enough to not notice when somebody wasn’t there. ”The girls are good. We’re taking a bit of a break from promoting right now,” Jisun shrugged one shoulder. They weren’t too busy. ”Kaos and Etcetera are both gearing up for a comeback, so we get to take it easy for a while.”

SiWoo smiled at Jisun when she said she was ready, then she aske dwhat was he going to have, he looked at her and then smirked, he ate a lot, he loved food and his methabolism helped him a lot, even more after the accident. "I'm having a double bomb lunch, and a plate of jjajangmyeong, I just love it" he said and then smiled widlyat her. "what are you having?" he was sure she would have a salad.

Then he nodded at her when she said his activities sounded busy, well she was right, if he wasn't careful he would get into troubles, or get sick because of stress. "yes, but I just need to be organized, or in my case my manager" he half laughed, he wasn't organized at all. then he looked back at her. "well then you have time to relax a bit, to write songs, right?" he said and then smiled a bit more. He wanted to know her better. "or what do you do when you have a slight break?"

As good as it sounded, Jisun had no desire whatsoever to join him in his choice of meal. ”Salad for me,” she told him, shaking her head with a small grin on her face. ”They make a good one here with grilled chicken and nuts and fruits and stuff.” It was tasty, but still extremely healthy and had little-to-no fat whatsoever. She could actually say it was one of the best things the cafeteria served. She had it almost every time she did come to the caf to eat, because while there was nothing in the dorm at the moment, POProcks’ manager normally managed to keep the fridge and pantry well-stocked with healthy ingredients for meals and snacks.

Jisun nodded her head off to one side when Siwoo commented on her having time to do other things. ”Yeah,” she commented. ”But I lost my voice a couple of weeks ago. Couldn’t really do much without it.” She shrugged and closed the menu so that she could signal over one of the waitresses. They could have always gone up to the counter to order, but that would run the risk of losing their table. ”Should we order then, if we’re both ready?” She asked as the waitress approached.

SiWoo smiled when she said she'd have a salad, it was almost sure she was going to order that, almost all the girls in business ate the same thing! Then he frowned, he didn't know she had lost her voice, the news said little about it or nothing, or maybe he had been too much into his new projects. "you lost your voice? how?" he wanted to know.

Then he nodded, he was ready to order, there they could talk a bit more about what happened to her voice. When the waitress got there he moved his hand to indicate that Jisun would order first, he was a gentleman. He waited until she ordered and then he did the same. "I'll have..." he said and then looked at the menu, then he looked at the waitress and smiled. ordering, then the waitress half bowed and left.

Jisun shrugged one shoulder non-committedly. How did she ever do it? Though of course, Siwoo didn’t know her too well, so it wouldn’t be so horribly obvious that she was so gung-ho about every single thing she did. ”I just never go halfway when it comes to practicing. I strained my voice a bit.” The conversation paused as the waitress came up and took their orders, and Jisun took the opportunity to take a sip of the water that the girl had brought to their table.

”It’s not too big of a deal, though. It’s happened a few times, and I just had to stay quiet for a while.” Jisun continued once the waitress had left. ”Although I gotta say, that’s not always an easy thing with me.” Jisun practically embodied POProcks’ style: loud, in your face, bright, and colourful. All of the girls were like that, really, and between the five of them staying silent for the period of a whole week and scribbling everything you wanted to say in conversations in a notebook got tiresome. She’d cheated as many times as she’d dared, though she had been careful enough to make sure she never had to yell.

SiWoo looked at her and listened about how her voice got hurt, how she lost it, and well it seemed like the accident he had been into when he was 22. He was in a persecution scene, he wanted the stunt, and he did the stunt right, perfect as all what he did in acting or at least he wants it to be perfect, but then something went wrong with the car, even the police said so, it had been a mechanical accident... but he almost died.

"I understand..." he said and then looked at the waiter, then he looked back at JiSun. "I'm glad you're taking care of your voice, you sing very well, have a very sweet and powerful voice" he said and then sipped from his soda.

Jisun smiled at the compliment and took a sip of her own drink (she’d decided to stick with water, as she still had to re-hydrate herself somewhat after working out) when he started on his soda. ”Most people would argue that I don’t take care of my voice,” she countered, her face disgruntled. ”Seeing as that’s what makes me give everybody the silent treatment to begin with and all.” ‘Don’t strain your voice, do you want nodules?’ seemed to be in the phrasebook of almost every single person she knew these days.

But on to a different topic. This one would just make her grumpy, and that was never a wise side to show to a company sunbae. Jisun nodded at the scripts he’d put away since she had joined him. ”Are those new scripts? Anything good?”

SiWoo looked at her and smiled. "Well I do think you need to be more careful, but I also know that you are a responsible singer" then he sipped from his soda again, then he looked at the scripts that he had left on the other chair. He looked at her again and then he smiled.

"Yes, one is from a new drama... it is going to be very good, but I won't tell you a thing, you'll have to see it" he winked at her. then he looked at the other script. "that one is a movie, but... I don't know, it's a horror movie, but I don't think it's good enough. So I'm still thinking about doing it or not.

Jisun opened her mouth to counter his statement about her being responsible, but decided not to argue; she’d just be regurgitating all the things people kept telling her when it came to how she practiced. ”Well anyways, my voice is back. I just have to wait a bit longer before I try and ruin it again.” She snorted a little and shook her head. There was no point in straining her voice again before it was completely ready to be strained, after all. Not that she planned on hurting her vocal chords. It just sort of turned out that way.

Jisun raised an eyebrow at the wink Siwoo sent her. Well, that’s new, she mused. Granted, the only other time they’d had a legitimate conversation had been at the filming for the music video he’d acted in, and they’d all been in business-mode then. ”I guess I’ll just have to wait, then,” A grin crept across her face and she leaned back in her chair, crossing one leg over the other and eying him. ”What’s wrong with the movie then? Is the character not evil enough for you?”

SiWoo sighed and smiled. "haha" he said about her comment of the character not being as bad and evil as he would want it to be. "it's not that..." he said and looked down at the script, he wasn't supposed to tell what was the movie, about, but well... he needed someone to talk to, and his best friend wasn't available at that moment, he was filming some action scenes in Jeju island.

He looked back at her and made a hush sign. "this is top secret... ok?" then he put the script on his legs and spoke in a low voice. "the character would be a psycho, that deceives his friends and kill them one by one only to get the girl he wants by the end. but I'm not sure of it... maybe a lot of blood and not horror enough"
