 DescriptionNamed after the resident Hongik University, Hongdae is the central hub for all young adults looking for a good time. Known for it's extensive array of clubs, bars, boutiques and local cafes, Hongdae caters to the youth of Seoul. Almost everything is until the wee hours of the morning and everyday the park in Hongdae hosts a flea market known to sell unusual items. Unlike the clubs in Apgujeong, clubs in Hongdae have no real dress code, no luxury seating areas, and are usually jam-packed on the weekends with college kids. Hongdae is also known for its underground rock music community, and bars often feature live entertainment.
