Sunhi stretched, looking out across the courtyard lawn and leaning back against one of the benches that surrounded the fountain (as opposed to actually sitting on the bench... but apparently if doing so had either not occurred to her, or she'd shrugged it off, the latter choice being more likely). It was one of those in between days for her. They had already done the shooting of the Etcetera music video the previous week, so she had the free time that she'd been spending practicing, and things had not yet been straightened out for the showcase yet, so she didn't have that to work on that. As for the everyday things, she'd gone to her classes this morning, but on her way to the gym, she'd looked out the window and seen the sun streaming through a break in the clouds.

So, figuring that if any of the teachers asked, she could give some excuse (it wasn't like she'd learn anything new. But, if she was wrong, and there was, she supposed she could ask a friend to tell her), and considering the two hours she'd spent in the gym the day before working off all of her frustration, she decided to take the afternoon off and enjoy the peace and warmth of the outdoors. So she had dropped her bag by the door and come out to bask in the sunlight, knowing that it would probably only last an hour or two, as she could see the shadow of another group of dark clouds on the horizon.

It was warmer than she had expected, so she ended up by the fountain, having decided that if it got too hot, she could jump in (it was immature and idiotic, yeah, but there weren't any other people out at the moment, so she thought it'd be okay). She would admit, she was a little worried about getting tanned, but... it took a lot for her to get darker, so she was willing to risk it. She leaned back and closed her eyes, pulling her hair down from it's ponytail and combing it back with her fingers.

Hyeonwoo had absolutely nothing to do today, and was incredibly bored because of it. Although he didn't particularly like classes or anything like most other people, it did give him something to do which was nice. He'd been walking down the halls when he'd spotted a familiar form turning towards the courtyard. He'd picked up his pace and tried calling out to see who it was, but the girl had gone outside before he'd been able to get her attention. No matter, he'd just follow her outside (that wasn't stalkerish or anything). He pushed open the doors and was blinded by the light, positioned just perfectly to be in the eyes of someone who was stepping outside. What bad timing, couldn't the storm have hit yet? Why was the sun still out?

He shielded his eyes with one hand before noticing that the girl had stopped by the fountain. Much to his surprise and delight, the girl turned out to be Sunhi. They knew each other well enough but he'd had the distinct impression she'd been avoiding him lately. Was this all because of the incident with Mina? It wasn't that he didn't like the girl, she was just too... innocent. He saved her from himself, he should have been praised for it, but no one looked at it like that. There was a part that wanted to keep stringing her along, trying to play into her 'type' until she fell for him and eventually gave into whatever he asked, but there was another part that made his stomach clench at the idea. He had no problems toying with fun girls, because they were always up for it and usually just as disinterested in anything long-term. She wasn't like that, he felt like a wolf following after little Red Riding Hood.

He'd known it from the start, but his selfishness allowed him to begin something in the first place, only to backpedal when he realized how poisonous he'd be for her. He was not the kind of guy who should be anyone's first, he could admit that. It took a moment to clear his head as he approached Sunhi, waving and smiling smoothly. He gave her a quick once over, enjoying the casual look and noting that he hadn't been wearing sunglasses so it was probably obvious. Oh well, too late now. "Shouldn't you be in classes? What a bad girl." He teased, sliding up against one of the benches and not quite seating himself either. The fountain was all too inviting; he'd only been outside for maybe a minute and his clothes already felt oppressively warm. He could ditch the jacket but, it kind of completed his look. Vanity over practicality, it was pretty much his motto.

Hearing footsteps, Sunhi opened her eyes and looked up, raising an eyebrow when she saw that it was Hyeonwoo. And apparently he was coming over to talk to her. Great. She sighed, sitting up, and looked him over (unlike him, she was wearing sunglasses, so the checking out - which was totally justified and understandable, since even though she was supposed to be unhappy with him, she was still allowed to think he was hot - was a little less obvious) noting the jacket and smirking. She knew he valued fashion over comfort, and honestly, she thought it might be amusing to watch him suffer through the heat if he decided to hang out for a while (and no, she wasn't sadistic. She just thought it funny to watch when people's pride or vanity ended up causing them discomfort). She gave a small wave in return, lifting her sunglasses and resting them on her head, giving him an assessing glance.

She had been avoiding him, yes. Well, perhaps not avoiding - it wasn't as though she left a room when he walked into it or something, she just didn't go out of her way to talk to him. It wasn't really that she had a problem with him personally, but it was an issue of principle, with the whole Mina thing. Sunhi was rather protective of the younger girl, and it had kind of pissed her off when Hyeonwoo had dumped her. Though, to be honest, she was glad that he'd done it when he had, instead of waiting until Mina had fallen in love with him and breaking her heart even more. However, the obvious thing to have done, in Sunhi's opinion, would have been to just never have started dating her in the first place, since everyone (well, okay, Sunhi) knew it would end like this. But, since everyone else on 'Mina's side' was angry at him, she decided not to mention her views on the subject, lest she be accused of defending him.

She rolled her eyes, smiling playfully. "Oh, and I suppose you were a good little boy and never ditched when you were a trainee?" She figured if he was going to hang out, she might as well play along. He was an interesting person to be around, even if he was kind of an ass at times. He would certainly serve to alleviate any boredom. Though, now that he was here, the whole jumping into the fountain thing was a little less likely, seeing how her shirt was white and Hyeonwoo was... well, Hyeonwoo. "What about you? Have anything you're missing out on, or do you have the afternoon off?" Sunhi was always curious when it came to the debuted artists' lives. She liked to think that she'd debut someday, and wanted a general idea of what it would be like then.

Over the years, Hyeonwoo had become actually quite good at understanding one thing- body language. Sunhi may have seemed closed off at times, but her body language around him today was very open and at ease. People often asked how he knew when to stick around a girl and when to take off (especially at bars or other pickup spots), but to him it was pretty simple. Even the girls who played hard to get had give-away signs that they were secretly enjoying the conversation. He liked that a little more, sweet girls wore their hearts and minds on their sleeves and he just wasn't naive enough for all that. No matter their age, those girls made him feel like a pedo because he was just mentally so much older and maybe a bit twisted.

Mina had appealed to the side of him that wished for his lost innocence. If you can play the part, doesn't it come back eventually? But you can un-see what you've seen, you can't un-do what you've done, and his nature would always get the best of him. Some night she'd be up crying while he was chasing a vixen down a dark waterfront trail as she taunted him with clever retorts and the smooth motion of her walk. He could never shake his vulnerability to that assertive type of girl, no matter how dirty it made him seem. He wasn't sure what he was addicted to- their personality, the sensations they could instill with their games, the chase in and of itself... it could be anything. He'd thought it was looks, but he'd seen the same look on sweeter girls and it hadn't burned his blood the same way. Sunhi had that look, she could be sweet or dangerous and he was stupid enough to wonder which side she held more of.

She was probably one of the last people he should be thinking about in his current mess, but screw it- he couldn't help that she was friends with Mina. Why did the girl have to have such attractive friends? That was her own fault. He mentally pouted, but the storm was eased by Sunhi's playful retort. His smile grew into a grin and he tilted his head at her. "Obviously. I'm the epitome of a good boy, I even sat at the front of the class." It went without saying that he was lying so obviously that it was painful, but he knew she'd catch on to that. Though honestly he had been quite a bit less... himself, the confidence of debuting had opened his shell and his world of possibilities simultaneously, and he'd started sliding down a slippery slope.

He shrugged out of his jacked just a little bit, pretending he was going for an alluring off-the-shoulder look when really he just wanted the light grey t-shirt to be exposed more instead of the black of the jacket which seemed to be devouring the heat from the sun. He had half a mind to jump in the water still, but she might think he was crazy. "I actually have it off, believe that or not. We've been packed with our video shoot, two performances, and a big interview last week. I think this is recovery time or something, or our album flopped." He said the last with a careless shrug and a grin, knowing all too well it was impossible. He glanced at Sunhi and wondered how she'd debut, would it be solo or in a group? Could she join Pandora? He wouldn't protest to her living with them, that was for sure.

A smirk played over Sunhi's lips. "Of course. You're the ideal teacher's pet. You have all the required traits... well behaved, respectful, wholeheartedly focused on your studies..." She rolled her eyes again, smirk turning into a grin as she gave him another appraising glance, noting the off the shoulder look. "I doubt the album flopped, they're probably just letting you rest, lulling you into a false sense of security before they dump the next big project on you." She chuckled, relaxing a bit as she tried to ignore the heat (she was questioning her decision to come out here a bit. While the feeling of the sun on her exposed skin was nice and all... the accompanying high temperatures... weren't). "But really, how did the video, performances, and interview go?" She tilted her head back, closing her eyes.

To be honest, Sunhi felt pretty at ease around Hyeonwoo. Well, as at ease as she was with anyone she hadn't known for the majority of her life. No, she wasn't about to spill her feelings to him or whatever, but she wasn't uncomfortable in his presence. Part of it stemmed from the fact that they shared similar interests, so she was able to talk to him without lapsing into awkward silence. Even if he was occasionally a jerk to her friends (i.e., the Mina Incident) and she felt like she rolled her eyes way more than was probably healthy for them, he had a certain charm. And she normally felt safe, since, knowing his reputation, she doubted there was any chance of her going for him, despite his attractiveness. Though... he did have a kind of pull... It was like fire, or speeding on dark empty roads... she knew it was dangerous, but it was also somehow irresistible. However, even if she did have a small thing for him, it wasn't like she could do anything about it, for several reasons: He was, generally, a manho, and would dump her not too long after, if he was even attracted to her in the first place. She was awkward enough that she didn't even know how to go about the whole 'flirting issue'. In addition, she didn't have time for it, and then there was the whole Mina issue, what with the no-sex-with-your-friend's-ex (if it rhymes, it has to be true, right?) thing. If only Mina's ex wasn't so... sexy.

She shook her head in an attempt to clear it, deciding there were more immediate matters to worry about. like the heat. Giving a mental pout, she turned her head to look back at the fountain, then up at Hyeonwoo, then back at the fountain. She could feel the sun beating hotly on her shoulders and head, and the fountain looked so cool and inviting. After going back and forth for a few moments, she sighed and let out a muttered "Aw, screw it.", standing up and looking over at the older boy. "I'm going to do something, and it's a bit... childish, so I'd appreciate it if you didn't inform anyone of my brief lapse in maturity and professionalism." She took the glasses from her head and set them down on the bench she'd been sitting against, and walked to the fountain, kicking off her shoes and turning back when she got to the rim after glancing doubtfully down at her shirt. "And also... I might need to possibly borrow your jacket afterwards, so if you'd let me, that'd be nice, too."

Sunhi had sass, and he liked when she didn't bite her tongue or try to sweeten her opinion. She was smart but blunt, it was the non-bitchy and more sexy way of cutting to the chase. Honestly it was exactly his type. He couldn't stand the 'well, but... um... but... you're so nice and handsome oppa so it's okay! *blush*' it just made him feel... dirty, because if it wasn't fake (which it usually was, and he hated that) then it made him uncomfortable because he just wasn't that innocent. He couldn't be on the same level as a girl who acted eternally 16, he mentally felt like he was pushing 30 sometimes. Of course, his self control definitely remained in his teens, he was as hormonally controlled now as he was when he was 16, maybe even more so. He caught her eyes as she glanced over the jacket, and sighing, he slipped it off in one smooth motion. Whatever, she'd already seen the outfit and knew it looked good so he could ditch one piece for now.

He grinned at her accurate assessment of their current downtime, pinching his nose in fake tiredness. "I can't stand it, they're going to work me to death." He whined dramatically, leaning back on his hands and lulling his head to one side. His eyes peeked up from under his permed hair, a mischievous smile playing on one side of his lips. There was a certain way that Sunhi stood when she was thinking about something seriously, her hard back posture softened and she leaned delicately more to her left side. It made her body look more gentle and almost... vulnerable. It also emphasized the beautiful curve of her hip to her... damn it, he really needed some cold water at the moment. "It was interesting, the interview was the most fun though. They asked some personal questions that we didn't expect. But the performance, what a rush. You'll see for yourself soon enough." He never quite figured out why of all Mina's friends, Sunhi tolerated him the most. Either she got him more than any other person in EE, or if he was really lucky she was reckless enough to be after him in her own way. That was wishful thinking, she'd never risk the social whiplash of getting too close.

However, when she looked at the fountain and back at him, he had a devilish idea about 'getting close'. Very inconspicuously, he slipped off the polished black dress shoes and moved his jacket to the side before it was noticed. "Do you really think I'm going to complain? It's our little secret." He had to hide the widening of his eyes as she stood by the rim, preparing to go in... in that little white t-shirt. He was not going to let this chance of trouble making go to waste. Prowling up quietly behind her, he swept her legs out from under her with one arm while using the other to catch her upper body when she started to fall. Now with her completely in his grasp (god she was light, or maybe he could lift more than he thought), he stood up on the edge of the fountain. "Allow me." And then jumped in, making sure to soak her to her neck even though the water got him up to his mid-torso in the process. That had been the plan, he wanted to cool down too.

He grinned down at her, lightly easing his grip to prepare a defense in case she started hitting him. It didn't leave his mind that he had achieved another goal in the process of having fun with her, and he sneakily flicked his eyes down to the water. Yep, her shirt had gone very, very transparent. But what a cute bra, did it have a match? His own grey t-shirt was thin enough to go translucent where it hugged his lower body, and his jeans were practically falling off his hips in the water. He looked back to her face and grinned a very charming grin of victory. Today was a good day.

As Hyeonwoo slipped off his jacket, Sunhi raised an eyebrow. Part of her wanted to ask if the heat had finally gotten the better of him, or if he was going to do a strip tease, before deciding against it as he responded to her previous comment on his schedule. "Aww, is poor little Hyeonwoo feeling overworked? Not enough playtime?" She snorted. Honestly, she couldn't pity him. 'Poor me, I'm famous, everyone wants to be my friend and have sex with me' really wasn't a valid complaint in her opinion. But, as long as his objections were only playful, she supposed she wouldn't criticize him. She gave a mental shrug, turning part of her attention back to the conversation, another part on her mildly confusing thoughts, and another on her attempt to soak in the peacefulness of the currently happy weather.

Feeling the sun on her eyelids, she sighed happily. Chances were... yeah, she'd watch the performance. Even if she never would have believed four years ago that she'd become friends with Korean celebrities, now, she had enough friends and friendly acquaintances in Pandora and Etcetera that watching their performances and TV appearances was pretty much mandatory. "What kind of personal questions in the interview? She had noticed that, usually, interviewers had the same questions because, generally, fans always wanted to know the same things about everyone, and it was all about what the public wanted.

Facing the fountain, she didn't see him removing his shoes, nor did she hear him approach moments later. "Just between us, then..." She muttered, about to hop in, when she felt the earth disappear from her feet. She yelped in shock, then felt the support of another arm on her back, holding her up. Sunhi threw her arms around his neck and shoulders in a partially instinctive way, and partially as a preemptive measure, should he choose to drop her. "Wh... what the hell do you think you're doing?" Being held by him wasn't an unpleasant sensation - she could totally feel his muscles against her side - though if she wasn't so taken aback, she'd probably be in more of a position to enjoy it. She was confused as to just what he thought he was doing, though the slight puzzlement did have an edge of amusement - well, this had the potential to be interesting, and more than mildly humorous.

Her surprise only grew when he jumped in, with her still in his arms. Sunhi gasped as she felt the cool water soaking her thoroughly up to her neck, then looked up at Hyeonwoo, blinking and feeling his grip on her loosen a little. She bit her lip, not quite stifling a giggle. "Well, I can't say I've quite been in this situation before..." Having let go of him with one arm, she used her free hand to splash him. Despite the fact that her now see-through tee-shirt was clinging to her equally wet skin, she figured at least the heat problem was no longer an issue.

Honestly Hyeonwoo had no complaints at all about his fame. He knew he was lucky, luckier than most even because he'd had to work so hard. Being rejected initially, he had been saved by his determination in altering his look, his persona, and upping his dance skills while working on his rap (the only thing he had to boast with from the start). Despite making an impression based on his improvement in such a short period of time, it didn't comfort him as much as it should have. Instead, he had to keep upping himself and being better and better to impress his manager and Jaehwan. It was an ever-present threat biting at his ankles; that he might fail or not be good enough in the future, he could hit a plateau and not be able to push any higher. He had gained a lot of confidence in succeeding, but it was a necessary evil. Without that confidence, he wouldn't have become the person he needed to be in order to get noticed the second time around.

In truth, his big ego was 50% show and 50% real. He was proud of what he'd done to himself; he'd come a long way each and every year from the loser he'd been back in school. He never could go back to that life now, he looked down on that person he had been. But a lot of his ego was for show, because the more confident he looked- the more people expected him to succeed. In reality, the more he acted confident the more he felt like he would be able to back it up. It was a never-ending cycle of need and how to obtain that need (acting like he'd never fail even when it had happened and very well might again). His insecurities of the past drove him to seem flawless and fearless when it came to his persona. His only vulnerability was in his sexuality. Despite what people might think, he had no control over himself and that was the real problem. If a girl could light that spark, he needed to have her... he just acted like he was in control.

Completely letting go of work talk (there were much more interesting things at hand), he lingered in the sensation of Sunhi's arms around his neck and her light body resting against his in the water. "I'm helping you cool off, I wouldn't want you to slip and break something." He smirked, adjusting the position of his hands so that he lightly encircled her waist. Really, it was a better position due to the sudden buoyancy the water provided him to work with. Although he was already surprised that she'd instinctively grabbed onto him (subconsciously she trusted him at least that much), he was even more surprised when she didn't retaliate with anything beyond her words. The lack of resistance was confusing and he wanted to solve the puzzle. Sunhi was beautiful by any standards, but there was something about that look when she bit her lip and giggled... His fingers tensed into her skin lightly as he smiled down at her. The look was meant to be soft, but might have held a wolfish edge to it.

"I don't believe that. I think you're a wet t-shirt champion." He teased, shaking his head to the side when she splashed him. "Yah! How can you attack an unarmed person? I can't even defend myself..." He pouted, still not letting go of her despite the complaint. It was obvious and frustrating, but he couldn't stop glancing downwards into the water, try as he might. The realization dawned on him that he'd technically just seen Sunhi topless, and he grinned so largely that she would probably be concerned with what was on his mind (as she probably should have been, just as a general rule). He slipped down onto his knees, still half-holding and half-floating her alongside him, so that the water lapped at the top of his shoulders. His left hand coaxingly slid up along her back to wrap about her shoulders, bringing her upper body close enough that he could smell her lip gloss (of course he was still at a good position to sneak glances downward should he so desire).

"Are you always this much fun? Or was this your plan all along to get close to me?" His index finger made light absent-minded circles along her shoulder as he spoke, indulging himself in her closeness for as long as she'd allow. At least if anyone came outside, the fountain obstructed everything but the top of his head. He could simply say he she fainted into the fountain and he was saving her... what a noble guy.

... And there was the eye roll again. "Thanks. I can feel the sincerity of your concern, really." She chuckled, shaking her head, trying to act ordinary, despite the out-of-the-ordinary circumstances. And speaking of the circumstances... She had no idea what to do here. Her mind kicked into overdrive, a slight frown passing over her face. She could push him away, but she didn't want to hurt his feelings or anything - if he had any. She was relatively sure he did, but he hadn't done a whole lot to reinforce that belief, so the jury was still out - or she could stay like this. However, he might take it as encouragement, and Sunhi didn't think taking that path would be wise. Or she could just... enjoy the cool water, the relief from the evil heat.

She laughed. That was an interesting mental image there. "Yeah... Totally happens all the time." She grinned. "And there's nothing stopping you from fighting back. You could let me go, I think I'm safe enough now that I won't fall if I try to move about on my own." Having spent the majority of her life in London, she'd been raised a little differently, with much more physically comfortable friends than she'd found when coming back to Seoul. However, there was a difference between being pounced by her overly affectionate classmates or getting into sparring matches with her brothers' overconfident friends and... this (which she was relatively sure wasn't a normal occurrence here, though, with her lack of knowledge on customs here, she couldn't be sure). She looked up at him, the troubled frown that had come over her face turning into one of puzzlement when she noted the large grin. "What's so funny?" As he adjusted their position, she took her hand from it's place around him and settled for resting it lightly on his chest (not because she was feeling him up, but because, honestly, it was just the most convenient place to put it. Being able to feel his muscles was a happy side effect).

She glanced down at her shoulder, having Looking up again when he spoke, she raised an eyebrow, deciding to pick the safer answer, even knowing that neither option was really true. "I don't know why you would even ask that. Obviously, I'm always this awesome." She smirked. That's it, Sunhi. Sarcasm - The never failing solution to awkward situations. Also, subject changes: "And speaking of awesome... I got a new motorcycle last month, but the fact that I've been avoiding you" Nice, just set that one out in the open, then. "has kind of prevented me from showing you. You should come for a ride some time!" She nodded. Despite the fact that half of her reason for mentioning at all was to alleviate some of the sexual tension - she didn't know if she was imagining it or not, but it was threatening to make her blush, and she didn't want Hyeonwoo to think he was getting to her... plus, blushing was just so... lame. And it made her feel like an idiotic twelve year old - she did actually want to talk to him about her new ride. What could she say? She was a motorcyle enthusiast, and had few people to talk to about it, so liked taking the opportunity when she could.

Deciding she'd had enough before she allowed things to get out of hand - she was enjoying the feeling of his hands on her more than was good for her, in her opinion - she wriggled out of his arms, moving back a foot or so and splashing him again, before crossing her arms over her chest in a vain attempt to cover up what was currently on display.

It was all he could do to laugh at her sarcasm, he really enjoyed that side of her. Every time she'd let onto something and give him a step forward, she'd start to take two running steps back. He didn't mind to verbally or physically chase her, she'd caught his interest in a new light. No, it wasn't because he'd just seen the majority of her boobs. Well okay, that might be part of it. Encouraging Hyeonwoo was definitely not the wises of decisions, because he was just ballsy enough to push the line of what was allowed and what was not. This, already, was pushing so many boundaries. Company boundaries for one- this was technically a public PDA. Friendship boundaries for another- if Mina had seen Sunhi in the last ten minutes... he couldn't imagine how that would go. Sunhi had been pretty innocent, but she hadn't exactly chased Hyeonwoo away with a pitchfork like she probably should have.

Not to mention he had the distinct feeling that a part of her didn't mind this at all. "And this is the first time you've invited me? I'm hurt." He furrowed his brows in a false look of frustration as she commented on his current position of grasping onto her. He looked down and back up, smiling almost cutely. "I don't want to. Got a problem with that?" He resisted the urge to pull her closer (if it was even possible) and floated her in a light circle, watching the sun sparkle off the water and onto her soft skin. This was hell and heaven at the same time and he couldn't pull away. Whatever she stopped to think about, it didn't seem to change how she relaxed in the moment, and a part of him wondered if this was all some kind of trick. To pull him in and taunt him with no intent of ever really getting close to him, as payback for Mina. His smile faltered a bit at the thought and he gave her a light smirk that lacked the usual energy. "Wouldn't you like to know?" Might as well tease her, he wasn't about to offer up any of the actual things on his mind.

He couldn't help but grin lightly again when she gave the most cop-out answer possible. "Uh-huh. Well I haven't seen much of this before." He was about to remark on it further when she dived into a fun topic- motorcycles. He loved them, and he'd always been amazed that she was into them. A chick on a motorcycle? His brain couldn't handle that level of sexy. He was relishing the chance to talk about it and possibly see her in action when she said something to make his smile vanish completely. Well, he'd kind of expected it considering what had happened, but he still felt like protesting. "Why should I ride with the girl who has been avoiding me? Don't you feel like you should make it up to me?" This time the pout was authentic. One thing Hyenwoo was bad at was hiding when he was legitimately pouty or frustrated. Truth be told he'd love to go out for a ride, especially with a cute girl, it was pretty much the best offer ever... but he wanted some kind of apology first. Not that he really had a right to it or anything.

When she moved away, it only darkened his already moody thoughts. But she was in a playful mood so he took it as that- she'd simply been bored and wanted to toy with him. He smirked again, moving his hands back into the water. "You clearly need to pick on someone your own size." The muscles in his arms tensed from shoulder to wrist as he powerfully swept both arms forward and created a double-sided spray that would go far over her head. Yes, it was childish. But yes, it was fun. And hopefully it would distract her from trying to cover her chest. He raised an eyebrow at the motion and made a small 'hmm'. "Fine, if you're that worried-" And he lifted one hand under his shirt, sucking the material away from him and lifting it over his head. He wrung it out lightly and laid it in the sun to dry, glancing back at Sunhi. "Now we're even, ne?" He was going to suggest she do the same (her shirt wasn't doing much at the moment anyway) but he had a feeling he'd already seemed too... well, himself.

Sunhi turned to look at the building, wondering what would happen should anyone come out and see them. It wasn't exactly an easily explainable situation, she thought, looking down at herself then Hyeonwoo. If such an issue could occur, she'd probably be able to think on her feet and come up with an excuse ('we were hot, so we jumped into the fountain' somehow just didn't sound like it would work. Especially considering the positions they were in and the conversations they were having). Rolling her eyes at his next response, she thought about it. Did she have a problem with him not wanting to let go? Honestly, not really, especially when he was smiling all cutely - a much different expression that the confident and (in her opinion) mildly predatory smirk. But she knew that she should mind, all things considered, so she just shrugged and rolled her eyes, not answering.

Well… this was frustrating. She didn’t appreciate being laughed at, and she didn’t like being ignorant when it came to anything that had even the smallest bit to do with her, even when it was the thoughts of others. And he was obviously teasing her. "Yes, I would like to know. It obviously has something to do with me and I don't appreciate your teasing me." She gave him a look of half playful and half sincere reproach, sticking her tongue out momentarily for good measure (ah, maturity... it comes and goes). When he remarked that he hadn't seen much of this side of her, she shrugged. "Yeah, well... Maybe you haven't been around very often during my moments of brilliance. But... in all seriousness, you just caught me in a better mood today." She smiled, sighing softly.

Not for the first time did she curse her tendency to over-speak when she was having fun, when she saw his expression change. She supposed that as when she was more comfortable, she wasn't as on guard, it made sense that her words wouldn't be as careful. "I really can't see how else I should make it up to you. I mean, I'm offering to let you on my motorcycle, and there are approximately three people who are allowed to do that. Plus, you pretty much saw well... everything." She glanced down at her shirt, wrinkling her nose.

But... she supposed she did owe him an explanation, at least. "Fine, fine... I'm sorry." She looked down, frowning despite the fact that she was trying to keep her face from going sullen. She was deciding to tell the truth, without any sarcasm or snarky comments, and, honestly, it was hard for her. Damn, she hated apologies, and she was usually pretty good at avoiding them. Most of it was that she felt like apology was an admittance of failure on her part, which made her feel weak. Not a feeling she enjoyed. "I was upset at you, but..." She looked back up at him, giving him a long appraising look. "You know what? You're not a bad person. I mean... you aren't an angel, but you aren't Satan either. I understand why you did what you did. So... I'm sorry. I judged you based on one occurrence and I shouldn't have." She shrugged, running a hand through her hair, then grinned. "Now that's cleared up... if I'm going to kidnap you for a ride sometime, I need to know when you have free time again."

Having stepped back and stood, Sunhi's eyes widened when she saw the wave coming at her. Yelping, she threw her hands over her face to deflect the water she could, then lowered them to stick her tongue out. Then her eyebrows shot up as he removed his shirt and wrung it out. She blinked, looking him over in not quite concealed appreciation. When he spoke again, she brought her eyes back to his face. "Hmm? Oh, uh... yeah, I guess." She was so skillful at successfully forming intelligent sentences... or not.

Honestly this was far from the first time that he'd felt distinctly pulled towards Sunhi. If he was confessing the full truth, he might say that Sunhi was one of the things that made him realize how bad for Mina he was. Every time he was around the girl, he spent more time memorizing the way her shirt clung to her body or how her hair curled perfectly on her bare shoulders, never had two things looked so soft and inviting. He'd thought it was the usual forbidden fruit syndrome, but here she was- far from forbidden (except her own personal restrictions) and he still felt like closing the distance and plunging his lips into the crook of her neck and her shoulder without so much as another word. It was a bad time for her to test him, because when he spoke next, he did close the distance between them.

Without any invitation whatsoever, he pulled her hair up softly from where it clung to her skin and slid it over one shoulder. The statue rising in the water was a nice solid surface to press her back against as he leaned in slightly. "I think you do appreciate me teasing you. I think you'd appreciate it more and more." Her tongue had receded into her mouth, but his chest shook with an uneven breath when he considered how close and still accessible it was. It was dangerous when he got like this, when a girl made him lose his head and run on only that bare primal urge. It wasn't even for sex, though that was definitely in his thoughts, it was a burning thirst for passion. Even just indulging in holding her close, tracing his fingers over everything he'd seen today and things he still hadn't seen, breathing in her scent, watching her bedroom eyes and the breathy things she would ask of him...

He took a step back and slid a hand down his shoulder just to try and rid himself of the urge to touch something on her body instead. He'd teased her already by prowling over and basically accusing her of wanting him to act how he was acting at that moment, no need to push the line. Not in public, anyway. "I like this mood." He added selfishly, not that he found her boring or anything on a 'normal' day. It was a little surprising when she reacted to his slight pouting, he truthfully didn't expect it to have much effect. He'd been entirely in the wrong, even if there were good intentions buried in a mountain of bad decisions and a loss of judgment. Not only had he been entirely in the wrong, he'd hurt someone who Sunhi was especially close to. At first he studied her long and hard, wondering if she was about to punctuate her statement with another sarcastic remark. Momentarily distracted, his ego got the best of him when she mentioned 'three people'. "Who would the third be?" Jealousy was thinly veiled in his voice, though he feigned it as simple conversation. He liked being number one- in everything he could get into.

His surprise exploded into complete dumbfounded shock when she continued her apology into a full step-by-step explanation. "Well I kind of expected it." He shook his head and couldn't help but laugh. "Yah... you didn't have to be so honest about it, or so sweet." He reached out and brushed her jaw almost affectionately. It had been a long time since someone had said anything like that to him, did she really see his side of things or was she just being nice? Either way, it seemed like she legitimately forgave him and THAT was impressive in and of itself. He put his hands leisurely on his hips and leaned to one side. "Free time seems to be all I have for the next week. I'm sure we can work with that." There was no time like the present, and now that he had a chance to make it up to Sunhi he was eager to jump on it. A part of his mind reminded him that succeeding at getting anywhere at all with Sunhi would be a very selfish thing to do, considering Mina would inevitably find out somewhere, somehow.

When her eyes roved over him in an all-too familiar manner, the thoughts 'screw it' filtered through his mind before he slid his hand down and hooked it into the top of his pants, exposing the 'Louis' of his LV boxers. He didn't get to show those off nearly as much as he'd have liked to. Besides the obvious fact, they were expensive and nice. He smirked again, the look not entirely reaching his eyes which held that predatory seriousness. "What has your rapt attention, hmmm?"

How did he always manage to get under her skin like that? One second, she was laughing and having a great time, and the next... he flipped the switch and she was finding it hard to remember how to breath. then again, she figured that as Epika's Romeo, he was expected to have a profound effect on women... But still. Sunhi didn't appreciate the mixed vulnerability and fire she felt in his presence. She needed to be focusing on her career right now. Not on her friend's ex-boyfriend's biceps and highly kissable lips. Now, she needed to ignore whatever sexual tension she was feeling (and assumed he was too, by all appearances) and calm down (and she'd been doing a fantastic job of it recently, as the whole avoiding him thing not only went with the annoyance after he'd dumped Mina, but also allowed her to escape any of those potential... feelings).

And she intended to keep on ignoring the fact that every other second she was this close to grabbing him by the shirt and making out with him right there in the fountain. But he was making it rather difficult. Goosebumps rippled over her flesh when he brushed her hair back and her breath caught when he pushed her against the statue. She didn't exactly feel like coming up with an response to his comment - especially as she didn't even know the answer herself.

She looked over his shoulder and noted the menacing line of dark, angry clouds approaching and frowned. "You think the storm will hit soon?" While half of the intention behind the question was her trying to change the subject, she was slightly nervous about it. One of her fears - a minor one - was of thunder and lightning, and she didn't want Hyeonwoo (or anyone for that matter) seeing her afraid.

She let out a sigh of relief when he pulled back and mentally shook herself off. After her initial half-apology, she chuckled at his question. "The third? A friend, but they don't live in Korea, so that makes sharing difficult. Why? Jealous?"

Then came the actual, sincere apology. Smiling softly, she shrugged. "When I do something, I do it all the way. So I had to apologize the right way." She sighed and shook her head. She smacked his hand away lightly and stuck her tongue out again momentarily. Hearing that he would be free, she grinned. "Good. I think I should be good for Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday... the other times I'm busy, or have classes I can't ditch." She rolled her eyes.

Taking in his chest and upper body, she couldn't quite keep the blush from reaching her face. She looked up at his face again and blinked at his question. She took a calming (if shaky) breath and looked him in the eye. One eyebrow raised, she smirked and repeated his previous question back to him, previous confidence regained. "Wouldn't you like to know?"

Despite his ego and confidence, he'd never really thought his interest in Sunhi would go anywhere. She had a sweet girl look (with a rockin' body), and had never been in a situation even remotely similar to this before. Even their banter had always been a lot more distant. Shouldn't his separation from Mina put more distance between them, not less? There's no way she was waiting for this chance... was there? Maybe she wasn't waiting for it, but she certainly wasn't pushing it away. It made him braver than he'd normally be considering the circumstances, maybe he was afraid she'd wake up tomorrow and go back to how things had been. He wanted anything but that, he felt so close to... close to something. Close to her, that was for sure, considering his step back didn't really ease his urge to reach out and touch her.

When the goosebumps broke out along her skin, he couldn't make any excuse for it other than he was getting to her. She couldn't be cold considering the weather, which still made him feel like sweating even half-bathed in room temperature water. His head actually turned of its own accord, pure instinct telling him he could kiss her if he went for it right then. He knew it too, so the weird thing was- why didn't he go for it? He was so nervous about upsetting this balance. Was it because she worked at EE and he thought that if he messed it up it would make it awkward to see her glaring at him all the time? Maybe, but not really. He'd still abruptly and unceremoniously ended things with Mina, knowing a similar ending would follow him around.

Maybe in a sick way he was enjoying teetering on the edge and feeding off the knowledge that she was somewhere not too far behind. When he felt the coolness of shade swallow him up, he noticed that the thin breaks in dark cloud were growing less and less. "I'd say so. Should be nice, eat up all this humidity. But then we won't have any reason to stay in here." He teased, resisting the urge to pout. He noticed after glancing back from the sky that her look was less than excited. In fact, she looked a bit apprehensive. Did she leave the windows open at home or something? He was about to ask when she responded to his jealous inquiry.

"Good." Before he could conjure up an appropriate response, the crossing of his arms and darting of his eyes kind of answered for him. "Would it make you happy?" It was pretty impressive though, in Korea he was the only other one allowed to ride her. Oops. With her. He bit his lip and barely suppressed a grin at how his mind surprised him sometimes. He'd been thinking of motorcycles and still was subconsciously feeding off his attraction to Sunhi. It wasn't that hard to notice, she was still standing in her bra only inches away from him, and the wet look was very flattering in his opinion.

"You're something else, that's for sure." There wasn't a note of sarcasm in his voice, it was a sincere compliment. Despite his offhanded and flippant nature, he did have the ability to speak seriously and honestly. It just didn't come out as often as it did for most people. But compliments were easier, though it was rare for him to be able to give one from the heart. Usually it was a token to win a girl to the next base and he was mentally laughing at how absurd it was. But words were words and easily eaten up by girls who wanted to feel good. In his defense- they were the ones who went out looking for 'that kind of guy'.

"Hmmm, so we have to make plans for those days then." Instead of waiting for her to agree, he assumed she'd be able to make time for him on all her off days this week. Regardless of if it was just for an hour or two (he knew spending the whole day together would make people suspicious), he was willing to take it. Her gaze found his defined upper body again and her face flushed a very charming red across her cheeks. Her breath following that look sounded all too familiar and he knew she was fighting as hard as he was.

The first few drops of rain spattered down, and he moved back to his position trapping her against the statue. From this angle, it would be almost impossible to see either of them unless someone walked around the fountain and it made him brave. The darkness of the coming storm surrounded them, and he gripped her shoulders lightly. Her skin still felt warm, he had been worried she might get cold when the sun went away. Humidity still hung in the air, though it was slowly being eaten by the rain. "Yes I would like to know." He leaned in and spoke low against her ear. "So why don't you show me." With his face this close to her skin, he could smell the distinct scent of her shampoo and perfume. Or was that body spray? It was soft and sweet, not too overpowering but distinctly feminine and pleasant.

Pressing his body against hers, he reveled in the feeling of her smooth wet skin. When he moved his face back to stare down at her, there was a vulnerability behind the heat in his eyes. Without a single word, he quickly moved in and kissed her as his hand cupped the bottom of her jaw, the other lightly resting on her waist. He should have waited to see if she'd resist, but he moved swiftly out of the pure need for her to not stop him. With the softness of her mouth against his, he felt his control crackling like a mirror under pressure. It took everything he had to keep from ravenously drowning in her lips, because as soon as he let that side take over he wouldn't stop until she made him.

He impressed himself by pulling back, chest heaving, lips parted and breathing heavy. "I'm sorry." He started, before shaking his head. "No, actually, I'm not. What are you doing today?" Since she'd skipped out on her classes for the day, and the storm was quickly coming down onto them, he wanted to take her somewhere. First of all, they'd have to go either to her place or his (though his would raise a LOT of questions) so she could change. Her shirt really wasn't much of a shirt so much as it was plastic wrap in a cotton disguise.

Ignoring his teasing, she scowled momentarily and muttered a rather unladylike swearword under her breath (albeit in English) before trying to shake off the feeling. She liked rain, just not storms. It didn't get as bad as her claustrophobia or fear of insects, but it definitely got her twitchy. And anything that broke her normal put together demeanor was considered a weakness, something Sunhi hated showing, especially in front of the people who perhaps hadn't seen that side of her before.

Ha! So he was jealous! She could tell from his mannerisms, even if he hadn't said as much. Strangely enough, Sunhi was pleased, in an odd, semi-smug way. She chuckled and shrugged. "Well, it would be interesting, seeing you jealous... And I'm going to take being 'something else' as a complement, regardless of the intent behind it." She grinned. Sunhi never knew when someone was being sincere or not, especially when people these days (herself included) were such good and convincing liars when they wanted to be.

She nodded and brushed her hair away from her face. "Alright, then. Wait - all of them? Or do we just pick whichever one day is most convenient for the both of us?"

Her breathing quickened as he trapped her and grabbed her by the shoulders. Yet again, she found herself in the space between hyperventilating and trying to restart her heart. Damn, did the boy know how to manipulate emotions. She sighed and tried to get a hold on herself, which wasn't exactly easy considering his close proximity and his low voice next to her ear sending chills down her spine. She'd always gotten the whole Hyeonwoo appeal - he was charming, sexy, and was very easy to converse with - but even with that, she'd never understood how he managed to get into a girl's head enough to get them to go home with him without the normal ritual wooing, and with the knowledge of him being who he was. But she understood it now.

He was dangerous - she'd seen him hurt people, emotionally, and knew he'd do the same to her should she allow herself to get into that situation. Perhaps it was the fact that she had an addiction to adrenaline, and she found him exciting, and she was never bored around him. Or maybe it was the mystery of him - she couldn't figure him out. She knew he wasn't a 'good' person in the normal sense - that was evident - but he wasn't evil. She believed he had his redeeming qualities, as well as a softer side that she had seen hints of before - and even now, looking down at her, there was a shadow of it in his eyes - and she was foolish enough to want to get to know that side of him better.

And then he was kissing her. Her eyes went wide in shock, and then closed. Of their own accord, her lips parted and, despite her own inhibitions, she found herself kissing him back. A hand rested on his shoulder, she didn't know whether it was to pull him closer or push him away. She hesitated, and before she knew it, he was pulling away anyway. She blinked, impressing herself by managing to keep her voice calm and dry, despite the mental 'holy shit' moment she was having. "Well... Wow. Wasn't expecting that to happen. I suppose I should be upset." But... she wasn't, not really. Puzzled, yes. Surprised, definitely. But she wasn't angry. Thinking about it, she had done very little to dissuade him, after all. Plus... kissing him wasn't unpleasant. At all. And she would admit - to herself, not to anyone else - that she'd actually been mildly disappointed when he had pulled away.

She didn't know if he was asking about her plans out of curiosity, if he wanted to ask her out, or if he was just trying to change the subject (what? Was she a bad kisser?), but she shrugged and answered anyway. "Well, I'd like to get out of here before the weather becomes more difficult, and before anyone else sees me in this state, change into something that doesn't feel like it's been plastic wrapped to my abdomen. As for the rest of the day... I have no idea." She was still kind of confused about the kiss, her mind going into it's over-analytical mode, so was only half focused on the conversation.
