* Received lots of acclaim for playing orphaned 14-year-old Hyeonsu Hwang in flashbacks of the action-drama Mars (2007).
* Turned down a role in a movie to star in teen sitcom I love you girl (2007) as Jinho Ham, an ambitious bookworm who’s always first in his class.
* Started getting attention for rebellious teen roles starting with Juhyeok Jo, the wayward son of the main character in Cloudy Day (2008).
* Gained critical acclaim for his portrayal of a troubled teen in the movie Blue Sky (2010), the only feature length movie in which he was the main character.
