The show will follow an artist around during a day of their life. However, near mid-day, the artist will be given a task that they must complete quickly. This task is usually very mentally and emotionally difficult, though the show always obtains the artist's permission first. The artist will always complete the task (that is, after all, how the show works), and usually ends up being a better person because of it (or, that is how the show presents it). Should the show feature many artists, or an entire group, usually the number of tasks assigned will be dependent on the time the artists have. Sometimes the group may be given a task as a whole. Other times each member of the group may be given a task. At times the show will attempt to set the idols against each other for some friendly competition (that may end up not so friendly). Depending on the numbers of tasks, difficulty, and so forth, the show many run several episodes with the same group.
