Title: Bex is feeling generous...
Description: ...and is a bit tipsy

Bex - June 10, 2011 09:11 PM (GMT)
Guest or not, I'm in the mood for some serious fic writing now my exams are all done and dusted.

So hit me up with your prompts. Limited time only ;)

(small print: I can't promise the fics will be any good...)

Completed Requests
As Long as You're Mine - Sybil/Branson for Ale
Mary, Queen of Scots - Edith/Napier for Laura. A little more angsty than I had anticipated, and forgive the somewhat negative view of Mary - Edith's a tad bitter.
Vera/Bates on their wedding day for Ruth
Matthew/Molesley, dressing kink for Ellie

Outstanding
Gwen/Branson, underneath the uniform for Nina
Anna/Robert for Nina
Cora/Rosamund, Robert away at war for Ale
Cora/Sarah, a roll in the coal shed for Grace
Louis/Thomas, Louis crossdressing and Thomas rather liking it for Ellie
Robert, reflecting on his greatest mistake for Ariadne (and I'm throwing in a Cora/Carson as I so want to write them)
Cora, new to England for Rose

bijou156 - June 10, 2011 09:13 PM (GMT)
Hmmm, Bex could you write a fic of Sybil's and Branson's 'Titanic moment' on the backseat, please. You can unleash as much smut as you like you are the artist

Bex - June 10, 2011 09:13 PM (GMT)
HAHAHAHAHA

You've got it Ale. I'll see what I can come up with.

Laura - June 10, 2011 09:15 PM (GMT)
Ooooh, can you write an Edith/Napier one? I sort of secretly kinda ship them two. No smut, but I do like UST! hehe! :D

Nina - June 10, 2011 09:16 PM (GMT)
Right Bex - hit me with this, smutty or whatever takes your fancy!

Gwen/Branson - Underneath the uniform

Bex - June 10, 2011 09:20 PM (GMT)
Ooooh I like both suggestions! Thank you both! I'll take a stab at them.

Nina - June 10, 2011 09:42 PM (GMT)
Alright, I'm being very greedy and I really apologise but this has just hit me and it needs to be done! I promise I won't ask for anything else!

Anna/Robert - before Bates (and yes, I mean romantically preferably the whole Master/Maid thing and of course anything you choose to add!!! :D )

Now I really need to go and bathe in Anna/Bates stories to cleanse my cheating mind! :D

Ruth - June 10, 2011 09:48 PM (GMT)
SHAME ON YOU, NINA.

In that case, can I put in a request for John and Vera's wedding day? Kept to a T, please? Thanky!

bijou156 - June 10, 2011 10:15 PM (GMT)
Ok, I feel greedy and guilty but I'll still give you this prompt Bex.

Prompt: Robert is away (he is in Boer war), girls are safely in the nursery under the watchful eye of their nanny, and Rosemund pays Cora a visit that will lead her to great discoveries about herself and love.

You are free to put in smut, femslash, anything that takes your fancy ;)

WotcherNymphadora - June 10, 2011 10:15 PM (GMT)
I'm going to start this post of by saying that I love you muchly and you are wonderful!

So here goes!

Cora/Sarah, a roll in the coal shed

Pssssssssssssst *ickle voice* Smut please!

Ellie - June 10, 2011 10:20 PM (GMT)
Louis crossdressing and Thomas rather liking it
and
the REAL M/M (matthew/molesley) and dressing kink ;3

Bex - June 10, 2011 10:24 PM (GMT)
Oh you three. I am rather fond of you all, you know?

Seriously, I'm loving these prompts. I'm going to have a busy day tomorrow, but I'm loving them!

Ariadne - June 10, 2011 10:27 PM (GMT)
Ellie, I love the real M/M. So this is where I've been going wrong all along!

Bex, I'd prompt Cora/Carson but that's too easy. :) Since you've gotten so many fun crack prompts, I'm going to go in the other direction and suggest a serious Robert reflecting on his greatest mistake. (And no, it can't be his romantic entanglement with Anna!)

(Small print: Anything you write is sure to be fabulous.)

Rose - June 10, 2011 11:16 PM (GMT)
Oooh Bex you are too generous!

You know what I'd love? Something of Cora when she first comes to England. First meeting with Robert, first impressions of the country, dealing with Violet, Robert/Cora scene... anything really!

Bex - June 10, 2011 11:20 PM (GMT)
Ariadne and Rose, I'm on both of these :) I've always wanted to write some early Cora and Robert is a character I feel I should explore a little more.

Tomorrow is my official writing day!

Bex - June 11, 2011 11:14 AM (GMT)
Hi all :)

I'll update my initial post at the top with the links to your filled requests. Enjoy!

Sorry it's taken so long, but I'm going to get going with these again.

John/Vera on their wedding day for Ruth

It’s a quiet wedding; him, Vera, a priest, and two poor homeless bastards that they plucked off the streets and thrust threepence at for their trouble. John wishes he could do more for them sometimes, but he has enough problems of his own now, since South Africa. He sends an invitation to Major Crawley –
Lord Grantham now, he supposes – but he assumes it gets lost in the post, no matter what Vera says about wealth and ignorance. Robert Crawley had been a good man, and John has no doubt he’s still a good man to this day, Earl or not. She sends one too, to an old friend, a girl called Sarah, but she’s long gone from the orphanage and Vera hasn’t heard from her in a while.

John has never seen a more beautiful bride. She’s dressed in black – they both howled with laughter at the idea of Vera wearing white – with her dark hair spilling over her shoulders, and there’s impatience in her eyes, like she can’t wait to get the hell out of this place and down the pub, and John feels the same. They’ve never needed words and promises to prove they love each other; their passion speaks louder than words ever could, and Vera has passion enough for the both of them and then some. But he wants to make it official, wants to do right by her; Vera laughs herself silly and calls him a noble bastard when he tells her, but she still says yes, even if her eyes are mocking when she does.

There’s noone walking her down the aisle – she can walk herself, thank you very much. Vera’s never needed anyone but herself and sometimes John thinks she doesn’t need him, but she’s here now, sniggering down the aisle with the same smirk that’s someday going to get them both in trouble. The whole thing, marriage, is a joke to her, but she’s still here. She wants him, even if she doesn't need him, and that’s all he needs to know, for now at least.

Um. Take this one as you will.

Matthew/Molesley, dressing kink for Ellie

After the first time, Matthew rather likes it. In fact, he can’t understand why he protested in the first place! The whole thing is a treat, from the cufflinks to the trousers – he especially enjoys the trousers – and Matthew understands, for the first time, why Lord Grantham is so fond of his valet and his wife is not. And Molesley is especially talented, more so than Bates surely. His hands are soft and his fingers deft, and there’s a professionalism that Matthew appreciates almost as much as his passion. Every button, every clasp, every line and fold is handled with reverence, with care. It’s a shocking contrast – the consideration of Molesley and Mary’s lack of it – and it’s Molesley that Matthew thinks of during the long hours in Ripon, Molesley he rushes back to, and why not? Molesley takes him apart piece by piece with faithful hands. Mary does it with a venomous tongue. And as they get closer, as Mary softens and slowly lets him in, he’s still determined to keep Molesley by his side to serve him as Earl as he has done as heir.

Matthew would still prefer to do some things for himself, but he no longer believes a valet to be a silly occupation for a growing man.

Ruth - August 23, 2011 11:11 AM (GMT)
Bex, I love it so much! I'm especially fond of Vera in black, and them heading straight for the pub afterwards. Vera's attitude to the whole thing is perfect, and her going back with O'Brien is a favourite theory of mine!

It's brilliant, m'dear, thank you so much! <3

Ellie - August 23, 2011 12:04 PM (GMT)
Bex..you are a fabulous, wonderful human being and I love you. And I still can't believe you wrote it. I'm fairly sure I mentioned in the TC when I prompted these that they were to be taken as jokes. And that you did not actually have to write them. But you did and I love you squillions~ :3
