Good evening Catherine. I appreciate that this is probably not the best means of communicating a sudden absence however i have had the ill luck of having my cell phone die on me. Late Saturday night I received a phone call from my father's sister; apparently my grandfather is having some kind of health scare - my aunt was vague on details - and I am wanted as soon as possible, especially since my father will not be able to make it from Oxford on such short notice. I will update you with details once I reach Nagano as to my grandfather's health and how long I may be away. I'm sorry this is such short notice however Chiyo should be able to fill in for me; all of my notes are up to date and there was no outstanding issues aside from waiting for a call regarding Mina's music video shoot.

Oh bollocks! I'm sorry Mina, I didn't realize I sent this to you instead of your mother. I have my contacts in alpha order by last name so you and your mother are right next to each other. Please tell your mother I am apologizing p[rofusely and will grovel when I return. I'm still here - there's been a slight rally however my grandmother wants us to stick around for a few more days. I checked my messages - the date for the video shoot starts July 25 I hope to back before then but we'll see how my grandfather's internal organs are faring.
