It had been nearly two weeks now and there were still no signs of returning back to normal. Thankfully his frantic (and extremely pain in the ass to type up) emails had worked in keeping his "disappearance" covered so far, however Arty was seriously wondering if he was going to have a job or an apartment by the time he regained his human shape. If he regained his human shape. However that was a possibility Artemis didn't want to dwell on. Thank God rent was paid the day before I went kitty. he thought as he padded down the sidewalk of one of the quaint little suburbs of the King Orson district. On the whole he was not liking the experience of being a feline; aside from the kindness of the nuns at the private girls school and one successful theft of a vendors squid shish kabob, the food wasn't good, sleeping arrangements were terrible and thus far there had been a near incarceration at the city pound. And with no collar and no id, Arty knew his chances would be slim. Really the whole thing would be a lot better if the transformation had come with natural cat instincts like in the Animorphs books he'd once read as a child. Sure the protagonists had all been teens and apt to get into trouble at least they had animal instincts to use to help hide. With only his human brain in the cat body, Artemis knew he was a disaster waiting to happen - especially since after nearly two weeks the odds were piling up against him fast.

In order to keep fro dwelling on such notions, the man turned feline had decided to search out Sailor Pallas. So much had happened that day at the temple - to an extent that Arty was hard pressed to wrap his mind around - and with all that had went on, it could have been any one of those people whose faulty powers had trapped him like this. (Aside from the red soldier who'd been knocked out.) Truth be told he wanted to blame the dark centurion (Or more accurately "Dark Prince" as the git had called himself) because he didn't like him, though the yellow soldier - Galaxy or Galactica he thought she was called - was also a possibility given what she had (possibly by accident) done to the one who called herself Sailor Mars. However out of all of them, Sailor Pallas was the one he'd seen incognito before and therefore was the one he had the best chance of tracking down. He'd started his search by canvassing the schools, beginning with Mina's since he knew more or less where to find it. However following all of the blondes there (at least as best he could with the nun contingent) yielded nothing. When he had given up St. Teresa's as a possible school of Sailor Pallas, he had departed with a heavy heart. The nuns may not have let him into the convent, but a few of them were obviously cat people and had left him a small saucer of food. If I'm stuck like this forever that's becoming home base. As soon as I can figure out how to sneak into their laundry room. (The best place to provide soft bedding.)

Crossroads turned out to be a bigger pain, in more ways than one. There were more students there and either Mina's hair colour had inspired a trend or blondes were more common than he thought in this city. There had been a bubbly girl in pigtails and a rather serious looking girl (who maddeningly managed to keep him from seeing her face for four days) who seemed promising for awhile, however once he managed to get a good look at their faces, revealed themselves as decoys. It was another day after the serious girl finally showed her face that he saw the blonde with the familiar hair clip and another day before he managed to get her name - Grace. After finally figuring out her schedule (and scrounging food from the bins outside of the Home Ec and cafeteria rooms) Artemis finally plucked up the courage to follow her home. It certainly hadn't been an easy quest to find the girl's home but eventually he did make it. He certainly felt weird stalking a girl around the same age as Mina - in normal circumstances he wouldn't be doing such a thing to any girl, regardless of age - but something weird had happened the first time he'd met her and the second time...well that's what got him trapped as a cat which meant logically answers were gong to be tied to her. However before he could get those answers he had to wait for her to be alone in the house - which was easier said than done since she had school when the other occupants were out. However a nice old lady with a fondness for cats was treating him like an honourary pet and was leaving cream out - which he downed with unseemly haste before other cats could come near him and challenge him for it. After all if it came down to a fight, Arty was toast since real cats knew how to fight in their bodies and he didn't.

Finally though the girl's father and the probably sister (she looked enough like Grace to not be a young, pretty midlife crisis stepmother) both left the house, leaving Grace alone. And a ground floor window was open! Finally! It certainly took some trying and wriggling (with a few undignified falls) but eventually Arty managed to get inside. Pleased with his bout of breaking and entering (much, much easier than figuring out how to type with claws) he took a moment to preen and congratulate himself before he realized he didn't know the layout of the house. Bugger it all to hell. he swore as he stalked across the room towards the door. He figured stairs wasn't going to be too big of a deal...the annoying caw of some kind of bird might well be the tricky part as well as determining the right room. Well that and explaining things to the girl. After carefully pressing his head to each of the doors on the upper floors to check for signs of life, he finally hit upon the right one and used his head to push open the door. With far more confidence than he felt, Artemis sauntered into the girl's room and sat in the middle of her floor, facing her bed. Get it over with man! he admonished himself, remembering that he had been able to talk during the temple fiasco.

"Good afternoon Sailor Pallas."

A strange sort of melancholy had come over Grace since the festival. Not that she was an overly upbeat and cheery person to begin with, even she’d admit that, but it was so hard for her to shake. And she just knew it was tied to the fact that her powers, whatever powers she had possessed, had suddenly decided to up and abandon her. So much for her being a protector and vanquisher of evil. She felt like a flake in all honesty. What good were her powers and her if she wasn’t reliable? Her thoughts had been following a similar vein for most of the week, so when her sister and her fiancee had offered to take her and her father out to dinner, Grace had declined, claiming a migraine and not feeling well. Since they knew she abhorred getting sick, it didn’t take much convincing and they went out, leaving Grace all by herself in the house. The question was now, what to do with her free time? She’d already tackled her homework for the night, and gotten a decent chunk of her French assignment out of the way, with time to spare, so what now? She entertained the idea of perhaps watching some television, but after ten minutes of unsuccessful flicking didn’t yield anything interesting, she gave up.

It wasn’t hard to tell that Grace was trying to avoid being stagnant. She wanted something to do, something to keep her mind off the incidents at the festival. She’d already put her hair clip in the draw and refused to wear it for most of the week. If she hadn’t been able to transform in the first few days after the festival, odds on she wasn’t going to be able to even now. And it was just an embarrassing reminder. At least she hadn’t been busted as being Sailor Pallas. That would have been even worse because she’d seen the news and the papers. Everyone was wondering who these Senshi were and her life would probably have gone up in smoke if anyone had found out she was one. Every cloud had a silver lining. She just had to remember that, It may not be apparent yet, but no doubt it would soon. There had to be a silver lining to this dark cloud.

Finally giving up on the television, and the radio, and the computer, Grace headed upstairs to her bedroom and settled on her bed with a couple of books. She didn’t know how long she was engrossed in those for, but eventually she couldn’t read another word as they began blending together and making no sense. That and she’d just read the same line about four times and she still couldn’t remember what it said. Putting the book down, she glanced briefly at her dresser. No it wasn’t worth the disappointment. Maybe she should give Heather a call. She hadn’t seen much of her lately and she was her best friend. She may have been occupied with school and now this Senshi debacle, but Heather was still her best friend. A somewhat mundane phone conversation later, Grace was once again in her room with no idea what to do.

Deciding it was time to give up on her pursuit; she lay down and curled up in her bed to wait for her family to get home. After all, it wouldn’t really seem like she was sick if she wasn’t in bed trying to sleep her migraine off. Experience told her the only way to get rid of one was to sleep and her father knew that too. He got really bad ones every now and then like most people and it seemed Grace had inherited that trait. The blonde let her mind drift for a while and she had just reached the cusp of that downward slide into blissful sleep when she heard a voice in her room.

"Good afternoon Sailor Pallas." Grace shot straight upright in the bed, her eyes looking around frantically for the source. A cat. There was a cat in her room.

She threw a cautious glance at her bird, Gizmo, who was happily munching away on his birdseed, and she had to wonder if it had wormed its way inside to try and eat her rainbow lorikeet. Well he was safe in the cage, but the more troubling thing was the voice. It was insane to think the cat had anything to do with that, so Grace swung her legs off the edge of the bed and checked out her window just in case. No sign of anybody. Frowning, she turned around to look at the fluffy white cat once more. Surely the cat couldn’t talk. That was ludicrous. Laughable and if there was one thing Grace was not, it was insane. She’d checked, repeatedly, after the park fiasco and the discovery of her powers. So what else could it be?

Part of her really wanted to ignore the animal and hope it would go away, but something told her it wasn’t going to. Swallowing past the small lump in her throat, because she’d only just clicked as to what the mystery voice had said, Grace straightened up. “Ha, ha. If this is some kind of joke, it’s over and it wasn’t funny,” she said loud enough so that anyone who might be playing a prank on her could hear. She didn’t like practical jokes, and even less when they were played on her.

Though he was not surprised to see Grace declare his statement to be a joke and for her to look for the voice's source to be anywhere but him, Artemis was kind of miffed that she had done so. Yes the entire city was buzzing about the identities of the seven sailor senshi who had appeared as well as the one who called himself the Dark Prince and that Centurion dud he'd seen at the fish market, something the nine individuals would obviously want to keep quiet. However this girl was in her own room in an empty house - surely she could admit it when Arty clearly knew who she was. "It's not a joke. I was there at the park when you froze that plant monster and again at the Temple. By the way, I'm down here. The cat." he quipped after she finished double checking to see if anyone was under her window. Sighing, he jumped onto the foot of her bed. "Sorry, rude, but it's easier for both of our necks if I sit here. Especially since we need to talk."

Of course where to start? That was the hard part - there were about fifty million things he wanted to bring up. Names are good. You know who she is, so she may as well know who you are." "So first, reintroductions. We've met before, though admittedly I did not look like this. My name is Artemis, we met at the park right before that plant monster attacked and you ducked away to use that little hair clip of yours to turn into a Sailor Senshi." That's when he noticed something - the clip wasn't in her hair. "Speaking of which where is that hair clip of yours? I'd keep that on you in case more trouble strikes. Anyways, I later saw you at the temple before all hell broke loose." A fiasco by any stretch of the imagination for all involved; he couldn't imagine what that temple's owner was feeling since not only were there rumours of people disappearing from the grounds but now there was a demon priest. "I have to commend you for standing up to that git, Mr "I'm so fierce and gitty" Dark Prince and then taking on the shadow creature. I missed what happened next since my vantage point changed." He held up one paw awkwardly to the side. As a human it would have been a sweeping gesture to show something off, but a cat's muscles didn't exactly work that way. "One minute I was human, the next a bright white furball.

Which brings us to why I'm here actually."
Coughing to clear his throat - something he had to do quite a bit now that he was a cat, even when he wasn't speaking - Arty got ready to confess his problem. "Since that day at the temple I've been stuck like this. No matter what I try - wishing, begging, pleading, meditating and calling out stupid phrases from kid's anime shows - I haven't been able to regain my human form. Out of all the people I saw at the temple when things went to hell - obviously no one had a good day since I heard nothing abut ice bubble striking anything - you were the only one I've seen before so I went looking for you. And since you were blonde and not blue haired when I saw you before chaos reigned you've obviously found a way to undo appearance altering aspects of this weird - and I hate using the word magic - that's affected both of us." Plaintively, Arty looked up at the girl who was no older than Mina and yet had to hide just as big a burden. "I need your help Sailor Pallas- Grace. Whichever you prefer."

This just kept getting worse and worse. Okay, so if Grace let things go for a minute and actually believed the cat was talking to her, not only did it know her secret identity -and wasn't that an odd phrase to think of?- but it also had seen her at the park, which was probably how it knew about said secret identity anyway. And he was a bit bossy if she were being completely honest. All in all, Grace just didn't like it. This cat, her powers on the fritz, everything all at once. The universe was probably laughing at her. Despite his little outburst as she saw it, Grace didn't immediately boot the cat off her bed. She could have, it was just a cat after all, but part of her wanted to see what he had to say. She couldn't recall, in her memory, any cats in the park at the time that sakura monster thing had made a reappearance, but then she hadn't exactly been scouring the area either. What did pique her interest was the cat's mention of them having met before, but obviously while he wasn't a cat.

It took Grace a few moments to piece together who he was talking about, the guy who'd wanted to take pictures of her, but when she did, she narrowed her eyes. He said he'd seen her. Now, Grace didn't have an eidetic memory, but she distinctly remembered a camera. A photo camera perhaps, but a camera nonetheless. And whatever she felt at the moment about her powers being fritzy, they hadn't been that day and Grace now knew he'd seen her. How much had the camera seen? He was still prattling on about her hair clip, which was on her dresser instead of in her hair like it usually had been. So that was when this miraculous shrinkage had occurred. That still didn't answer Grace's internal question about the camera though. The temple incident had been a while after her first transformation. She remained silent at his little paw wave and absorbed what he was trying to tell her. He was mistaken if he thought she could do anything about his new form. She couldn't even get her own powers to work, let alone fix someone elses cosmetic problems. But letting him know she was having such trouble with her own powers wasn't something Grace was inclined to share.

At least not until she knew where she stood on the camera issue.

Moving over to her door, she closed it and checked her window once before she turned around and narrowed her eyes at the white furball. "You say you saw me in the park, saw who I turned in to. If my memory doesn't mislead me you were in possession of a camera at the time were you not?" the blonde crossed her arms as she stood still, her voice taking on a little of an icy quality. "What did it get and where it is now?" Grace didn't bother beating around the bush. If he had indeed captured her changing into a senshi, then her identity was at risk. If he hadn't deleted that evidence, then they were going to have problems. Especially since he had no clue she couldn't change him back. She'd hold that over his head if she had to in order to get that evidence. Sure, her powers weren’t working now, but Grace had to believe they’d come good again. And when they did, she couldn’t have the media stalking her at every turn. Or worse. If he went along with her, and if he’d already gotten rid of it, then she’d do what she could to help him as well. Until then, or if he hadn’t and had given it to someone else, Grace would keep him like that.

A nasty move, it may have been, but this was important to Grace. Fritzing powers aside, she was doing something her sister couldn’t. She had saved people, helped people, and she wasn’t going to let this furball compromise that.

He held his breath for a moment, hoping against hope that the blonde in front of him would help him out. Being a member of the cut throat music industry was enough to jade most people on altruistic behaviour with all of the petty rivalries, shady deals, drama and various other examples of the worst of human nature but Artemis had met a few people who managed to hang on to their decency. Like Mina, though Artemis was sure that any more drama with her parents was going to make her snap and not in a good way. In some way the girl in front of him gave him a similar vibe to his boss' daughter and it wasn't just the colour of her hair, though that had been what had drawn Artemis to her in the first place. He sensed this girl was someone else who was carrying a weight on her shoulders...and probably not related to her powers, though that was all he cared about at the moment. After all, as interesting as it was that he had turned into a cat, Artemis had a life, a job and a family. All of which required him to be a human.

What caught him off guard however was the aggressive response to his plea, a tone which caused his new kitty instincts to raise all of his fur, puffing him up. Idly he remembered how she had snapped at him when he asked her to be his model for the mock up project and realized that he shouldn't have expected this to be easy at all. It seemed her memory for the incident was good because she remembered his camera - which seemed to be the source of her anger. Taking a deep breath and trying to will his fur into a non super fluff ball configuration, he tried to speak in as calmly a manner as possible. Who knew cats could produce so much adrenaline. "Whoa, calm down, there's no need for that look. I don't want what's on that camera getting out any more than you do. Obviously you want to protect your identity and truth be told if that memory card gets leaked, I'll get pulled into things too after the weird stunt I pulled with that tree branch, not to mention this." Had he been human, he would have held up his hands in the customary defensive gesture; something that didn't work to well as a cat. "The camera itself had to go back to my boss, but I slipped it a blank memory card. The one we both prefer not exist is somewhere in my apartment. Although God only knows how it looks right about now with me being gone for two weeks and my keys buried in that Temple's garden." That had been the one upshot when he ran into the priestess in the cemetery shortly after his transformation - finding his keys and putting them somewhere safe (assuming no one dug them up) and getting access to St. Teresa's for the first part of his search for Grace.

"If you're worried about me talking, don't be. The only reason I kept the memory card was to assure myself the whole thing wasn't a dream. From the way you reacted to my offer of modelling, I figured you for someone who likes a low profile and trust me after working with Mina Aino, that's something I can respect, especially for someone your age. Trust me, I've seen what fame can do to someone, even when they aren't courting the attention. Besides," here he tried to inject a little humour into his voice since he couldn't do so in the face. "I'll get picked up and hounded too. Only while some will praise you for your cool ice powers and say nice things about your figure, I'll just get ridiculed. Because honestly what's less manly than turning into a white cat? Even one as good looking as this?" Please et the humour charm her like it does the girls at work. This was such a strange experience all the way around it seemed. He had expected that life in Tokyo would be different from Cardiff or London, but magic being real and monster attacks hadn't been on his radar. In fact he was sure he would have been less surprised to find out Torchwood and The Doctor were real before believing in the things he'd just experienced. Particularly since it seemed he might wind up at the mercy of a teenage girl. "Anyways you didn't answer my question. Can you help me? Because I'd rather not search out and beg the help of that centurion ponce with the foul tasting feet and even fouler manners."

It was a small measure of relief that Grace felt when the kitty tried to placate her with the knowledge that he didn't want that card getting out anymore than she did. Not all of her was placated, as the card still existed, but she deflated a little. Her own attention had been more on the monster, but she did remember him having some tree branch in his hand. Judging by the way he'd mentioned it though, she suspected she wasn't the only one to have had something odd happen that day. Well, if nothing else, it seemed they were in this together then. Both had secrets to hide. He'd already mentioned his new form was thanks to the attack at the temple that day, but she hadn't considered the ramifications of it. He'd been a cat for two weeks. God people either didn't notice he'd been missing or he'd somehow covered his own ass. Grace could give his credit for that if nothing else. “Alright,” Grace said simply, nodding her head once. Her stance relaxed a little as she felt some of that worry dissipate. Oh it was still there, and probably would be as long as the memory card existed, but it was something at least.

As the cat continued on talking, mentioning her own reaction to his offer in the park, Grace had to admit that he did have more to lose than her. Especially since he worked with a pop star. She may not have been a huge fan, but everyone had heard of Mina Aino at some point or another. If his little secret got out, and hers by extension, he could probably kiss his career and job goodbye. It wasn't fame that Grace had an issue with. It was the criticism and overshadowing that came with it. One always had to be the best or they were second rate. Yeah she got enough of that in her home life. She didn't need the whole world acting the same way towards her. She wasn't a girl of many words, if she could help it, but this guy -cat- seemed quite liberal with them. Then again, he could be freaking out for all she knew. Did cats freak out? Was he technically like normal cats? “I don't know. Cats can be pretty cool sometimes,” Grace replied with a shrug and something of a smile. “At least you've got claws. I just look like I'm trying to flirt with monsters.” Yes, she had most certainly not forgotten that her primary move that day had been to blow a damn kiss at the creature. Capable of destroying them or not, she probably looked like a nutter. He brought them back on topic though when he called Grace on her little evasion. It had been priorities before, but she had evaded the question nonetheless.

“Honestly?” she asked, and although her original plan had been to hold this over his head, Grace wasn't that nasty now that she knew they were in the same boat. Sort of. “I don't know if I can help. Ever since the temple, my powers have been... well, wonky to say the least. I don't know if that -what did you call him? Ponce ? -had anything to do with it, but I haven't been able to transform since,” the blonde sighed before she picked up her hair clip. “It's not much of anything but a trinket now. I'm sorry.” She knew she probably didn't have to apologise, but it seemed like what she was supposed to do in this situation. “Is there anyone else you can go to for help?” An idea struck Grace then and, although she wasn't one to just jump into situations without thinking them through, it seemed like a good one.

For now at least.

“Look, I may not be able to help you but I'm guessing that since you're not really a cat, and actually are a person, you don't have anywhere to go. You're welcome to stay here. At least until we figure this out or find someone who can help you.” Worst come to worst, she'd tell her dad he was a stray that had followed her home. Grace had no doubt she could convince him to at least let her look after him for a little while. Even if she did so under the guise of finding him a real home and owner. She'd just keep the 'oh yeah and he's actually a person who just miraculously transformed into a cat one day after biting some creep on the foot' part to herself.

"Alright" Such a beautiful word. It filled him with hope that his situation would get better. Had he been a human, Artemis would have hugged the girl for agreeing to help him. (Of course had he been human he wouldn't have been in this sorry situation to begin with.) Now he had hope that somehow he would get to the bottom of the reason of why he was trapped as a white, medium hair tomcat. Obviously the moon shaped crystals they had were one part - but there was obviously another part of the puzzle as well. Since Grace had had hers longer, she probably knew more than he did. I'm going to have to figure out a route to and from the temple so I can get my keys back. That way we can poke the crystal I attached to them. he mused. Hopefully a poke was all it was going to take - like in some half remembered cartoon from his childhood; a character with power touched an object and its power returned. And then he would be back to work and his life in a trice and a lot more careful about the little crystal he had picked up.

"Oh yes, my super sharp claws that are all of a centimetre long." he snorted. "So scary. Especially when one considers the fact that I can be easily picked up. You might look like a flirt but if anyone makes fun of you for it, remind them that from you, a blown kiss isn't exactly harmless, close up or from a distance. At least I'm assuming - you might want to consider testing your range; you were about ten feet from that plant thing but knowing if you can be farther might come in handy." he mused out loud. "Me - I'm good in close combat assuming no one sees me coming." Though he had to admit that the fact he had bit the ankle of the dark centurion was pretty funny and probably looked that way. But that was limited use. "Other than that, you'd better prey the bad guy is allergic to cats or reacts like Ihmotep in The Mummy." A thought struck him...Would you have seen that? It's an American film. Anyway the undead monster runs away from cats due to some Egyptian myth...and no one in your family is allergic to cats are they?" She was offering help and he didn't want to repay the favour by making things difficult for her family members.

However his happy babbling was cut short when Grace admitted she was having power troubles of her own, causing him to very visibly deflate. (He was beginning to realize he was just as expressive in this form as his human one, only in a different manner.) "Oh." was all he was able to manage for a moment. That was definitely a major hitch in his plan...he'd never considered the fact that he wasn't the only one having trouble with new powers. "I wonder if this is a growing pains kind of thing. Either that or that thing at the temple did something that royally screwed us up." Which would be an issue. He certainly didn't want to wait until it was destroyed so he could regain human shape - he could kiss his life goodbye in that case. Grace also mentioned the Centurion as a possible culprit as well. "'Pounce' is a British term - think of it as a slightly more acceptable way to call someone a prick or an asshole." Had he been himself, Artemis would have grinned. British swearing was one of the first things he had imparted to his staff. Best way to introduce someone to a new language is through music, swear words and insults. he thought. "And no, I don't know anyone else to turn to in this situation. It's not like I can go to my boss or my next door neighbour and say 'Hey I've been turned into a cat, can you help?' They'd never believe it for an instant. I have no way of finding either of the other two soldiers...you I had seen before hand. I suppose I could have tried stalking redheads but I don't know if that's even her real hair colour. Plus," here he gave a kitty grimace. "With my luck there would be a boatload of red haired girls in this city. You would not believe how common blondes are around here."

Still the fact they were both having power issues was a problem. They didn't have any other allies at the moment and there was no way of finding the other soldiers. But perhaps that could be changed. Especially since she was offering him a place to stay (which answered the allergy question). "That's very generous of you." he began. "And is very much appreciated. Just so long as it isn't going to get you in trouble." He definitely didn't want to cause even more problems than she already had. "I'll do what I can to stay out of the way and not cause too much of a mess. Certain things I can control...the shedding unfortunately is not among them." Which was incredibly embarrassing. "And during the day I wouldn't be here - I'm assuming you'd get in major trouble for skipping school and looking for people to help us with our power problem. However until I become human again, I have nothing to do. Which means I can maybe track down people who might be like us. And on the off chance I manage it; we have someone to ask for help. What do you think?"

Grace could admit in retrospect that a cat probably wasn't all that effective against some monsters she'd seen, but she'd said it now and there wasn't really anything she could do to take it back. And Artemis did have a point. He could be picked up rather easily. In fact, part of her was surprised he hadn't been already. Especially by the pound or animal control since he'd probably been wandering around a fair bit looking for her. Plus he was a talking cat. Even if he'd ended up at the pound, whatever happened probably wouldn't have been good for him. It wasn't like he could just tell people he was actually a person and not have them freak out. She had an advantage since she herself had been through some... well, less than normal experiences recently, but most other people probably wouldn't have taken it well. Like her father or her sister for that matter. She'd have to be careful with Artemis to make sure her familly didn't find out and think she was a nutter.

Just another strike against her no doubt if they found out.

And another thing Grace could admit was that Artemis talked. A lot. Not as much as some that she had come across in school, but plenty enough that it made her seem like an introvert. Still, Grace let him talk, going on with some advice for her -which she made a mental note to actually test out- and then into something to do with a movie and then right onto whether or not anyone in the family was allergic to cats. ”Uh not that I know of but then we don't have any pets aside from my bird so yeah...” she let that hang for a moment, before Grace wondered whether or not Artemis would try to eat her bird. Exactly how influenced by his cat nature was he? She'd have to ask im about that when she had a chance.

She hadn't meant to deflate his plan or anything by admitting she was having power troubles, but being honest was the least she could do. If he was going to rely on her, she should be honest about it. Grace bit her lip for a moment as she listened to him continue on. ”It might be but it's annoying either way,” Grace commented, glancing over to where her clip was sitting. She hadn't minded having powers, or the implications and connotations of that with regards to her family and her sister. It was good to know that what Artemis had said, that 'ponce' word, was the equivelent of calling someone an asshole. She'd have to remember that and use it when the occasion called for it. He did have a point about going to his boss or his neighbour, and Grace didn't even want to contemplate what she'd have done if she'd been in his situation. Thankfully she wasn't. ”It won't be any trouble. Aside from my father, it's usually just me though my sister and her fiancee do stop around sometimes,” Grace replied with a wave of her hand. She also tried hard not to let her slight resentment show through but Grace didn't know how successful she was in the venture. The idea of roping others into their little caper here wasn't one Grace was too fond of, but neither of them really had a choice when she thought about it.

”If we think they'd be trustworthy,” she replied. ”I don't know how good an idea it is though to go around telling people what we are.” Whatever that may have been. He was a person turned cat but she was... well, Grace wasn't really sure what she was at this point.
