"You've never spent three days with a moody Jase. He has a killer temper. But I hope he'll deal with Will's authority complex better than I do," Izza responded, resting her chin atop her arms as she folded them on Saint's legs. Her dark eyes stayed on her cousin's baby blues, and a silent message passed between them. She'd already vowed to herself that she'd do everything within her power to keep him from freaking out too bad. Which really wasn't much, but it didn't mean she wouldn't try.

Both of them turned their gazes to Saint when he spoke once more. Izza's eyes lit up immediately at the mention of getting out of her home for a while as she took the bag of Cheetos from him. She figured it'd be at least two days, since the drive was so long. "I'll go." And she knew it'd bait Jase into going if she did. He was as protective of her as Talon, and she knew he wouldn't let her run off alone to some place six hours away with the other male. And that would get him away from here for the change, hopefully.

Jase shrugged, a crooked grin setting onto his face. "Sure, why not. Not like there's anything to do around here." Bingo.

Saint cocked his head, a grin splitting across his face. Not a normal look on seen on his features, but one that fit him nonetheless. "Cool. I still gotta pack and shit, though. You guys swing around my house around... noon, alright?" Then he did something totally un... Saint-like. Instead of getting up and leaving blankly, as he normally would have, he stood up. And pressed a kiss to both Jase and Izza's cheek, before turning for the door.

"Oh, and Izza, bring your yellow hoodie. It fits me, and it's soft." Throwing each of them a wink, he slunk out the door with the grin still on his face, and loped home. He had some of the Snow family's cherries in his pocket for Belinda. Such a sweet, kind nephew he was. Opening the door, he walked inside and smiled at her. "Hey, Bells. Cherries are on the counter." She was either dead or napping on the couch, so he went into his room to pack.

Three hours later found him sitting in his room, window wide open, jeans and Converse on as he debated which band t-shirt to wear and waited for his two companions.

"Noon's fine," Izza responded, smiling slightly. She was ecstatic about not having to deal with Damien or even the twins for a while. It gave her the opportunity to let her guard down completely, even though Jase would be there to observe her as he always did. She straightened as Saint moved to stand, pulling her arms from atop his legs and giving him an odd look as he kissed both her and her cousin's cheek before shaking her head, a smile still on her face.

She laughed at his next comment, nodding. "Sure sure. I'm gonna have to buy you one eventually so you'll stop stealing mine," She responded with a grin, standing up as he retreated from the house.

"What's going on between you two?" came Jase's serious question as soon as Saint was out the door, stopping Izza in her tracks as she headed toward the kitchen to consult her mother. She turned her head back to look at him, her grin never having died.

"The dynamics of a friendship. Saint and I are close on a level I can't explain. We've been through a lot together. You'll see everything soon." With that slightly cryptic message, she disappeared into the kitchen. Jase watched after her, brows furrowed in annoyance at his younger cousin. He really didn't understand her at times. Running a hand through his long hair, he stood and retreated into his room to pack.

"'ey, Ladybug, where's Mama?" Izza asked, leaning over the back of Noelle's seat at the kitchen table as she ran a hand through the girl's curly brown hair.

"Laundry room." She never said much, but when she did, she had a way of getting her point across. It made it easier for anyone who was speaking to her, that was for sure. Izza placed a kiss atop the mass of curls before venturing into the room where her mother was located.

"Mama, Jase and I are goin' down to Raway for a couple days with Saint. That okay?" No use beating around the bush. It wasn't as if she'd refuse anyway. Natalie liked the elder boy, and she trusted her daughter and nephew.

"Sure, dear. Have fun." She looked up at her daughter, smiling softly before returning to what she was doing. Izza flashed her a grin, and retreated from the room and into her own.

Three hours later, she and Jase exited the Snow residence and she led him in the direction of Saint's home. Pausing briefly as she came to the edge of the yard, she debated over going to his window as she had the morning before or knocking. Deciding to be polite, she and Jase went to the front door and she knocked a couple of times before sliding her hands into the pocket of the hoodie Saint requested she bring.

There was a brief minute of pause on the other side of the door, but it slowly opened to reveal the wizened older woman. Belinda stared at the two kindly, a small smile on her face. "Hello, Katie." She was always getting names wrong, but not faces. "Haven't seen you in a while. How're the twins?" Without waiting for an answer, she offered another evasive smile and hobbled back over to the couch. "Castro should be in his room..."

At that moment, Saint came through into the small kitchen/living room combo, pulling a Boys Like Girls t-shirt over the top of his head. "Hello, lovers. You're exactly two point nine minutes early, but I won't hold that against you." Smirking a little, he did the job of reaching over to Izza and starting to remove her hoodie. He loved the canary piece of cloth, and had been stealing it since she'd changed. Not that he needed it. He just liked it.

"So, there's one bedroom and a single bed in the Raway house. How d'you figure we should arrange the sleeping shit?" He gave Jase a lingering look, and, just to piss him off a little said, "Since me and Izza know each other better, I'm thinkin' we should have the bed. Together. And you can sleep on the couch." Not serious, of course. He fully intended to be the one sleeping on the couch. But a little playing with Jase's head couldn't hurt.

"Bye, Bells!" He hollered, waving to his grandmother, before slinging the book bag over his shoulder, and making his way around the other two and out the front door."

Izza smiled in greeting to the aged woman who opened the door, used to the fact that her name was never the one that left Belinda's mouth. "Hey, Belinda." She looked to Saint when he stepped into the room, rolling her eyes at his comment. "Good to know," She muttered, dropping her bag to the ground and lifting her arms so he could pull the hoodie over her head. She should've known he'd steal it immediately.

Jase glowered at Saint due to the suggestion of sleeping arrangements and Izza looked between the two of them. "Yeah, I think not," He responded, offering nothing else on the matter. Izza reached a hand up, patting his cheek to get his attention on her.

"You gotta control that temper a'yours," She commented. Jase rolled his eyes at her but didn't argue. He'd known that already. Both turned to follow Saint as he walked past them and out the door. Izza shut the door behind her, offering Belinda a wave though the woman was entranced by what she was watching on television.

"Vroom vroom." Saint muttered to himself, sliding into the driver's seat of his car. He. Loved. His. Car. Okay, technically it's not his. It had belonged to his aunt when she was actually sane enough to drive, and when she went over the cookoo's nest, it had became a rust collector in the garage. That is, until he'd gotten here. The car had been his outlet for the first few months he'd been in Alaska. A release from all the baggage he held over Katie's death. Helped him get to the point where he could look at people again.

The car was a pick-up truck. Made in either late eighties or early nineties. It had once been a shocking metallic blue. Now, however, the blue was that of a baby. Baby blue... Saint didn't understand that name, but who gave, right? It also had new, cozy grey leather and- though he'd never shown anyone, but assumed they'd see it- had the name Kathryn written on the back, in smallish letters and silver paint.

Fishing out his keys and turning on the ignition, Saint sighed and pulled out two books of CDs. "Take your pick your guys. I've got everything from NOW to Lacuna Coil to The Who."

Izza slid into the passenger's side, Jase sliding into the backseat. Skipping over choosing the music herself, for she really didn't care what it was that was played, she handed the CD books to her cousin. "I don't care what we listen to, personally. And if you happen to pick something I don't like, I have my mp3," She commented, flashing him a grin as he flipped through the CDs.

She dug into the bag she'd sat at her feet, pulling out a over-sized black hoodie that was made of the same material as the one that Saint had stolen and tugging it down over her head. She'd been hiding it from him since she'd gotten it so he wouldn't steal it, too. The blonde smiled a sheepish smile before relaxing into the seat just as Jase handed her a CD. Izza observed the art on it briefly, muttering something along the line of 'good choice' as she slipped it into the player.
