personality; Bitter is probably the best word to sum Ryuu up with. It consumes him, and drives him all at the same time. It shows in his facial expressions. A frown is almost always seen on his lips, even when he has a reason to be happy. Most of the time the boy is silent, his eyes his only conversation piece, the only part of him that ever seems to have any emotions. If he ever does open his mouth, his words are usually cold and bitter, or snippy and full of sarcastic wit. Normally he can be spotted alone in any of the nations many seedy taverns, with a mug in his hand and his hat over his eyes.

A fighter is another good way to describe him. Put Ryuu in the toughest conditions you can find and he will survive them. His skills with his swords and his fire, makes him a worthy opponent, even with his young age. He is also very subtle, making him an apt bounty hunter. He can appear and be gone with the blink of an eye. Ryuu can also be a good actor if it will get him somewhere. Charm the ladies, make a friend out of someone high up, he'd do it all with out second thought. The only thing that matters is the money that comes with his profession.

history; clan. The babe was small, runtish almost. But his father knew he would do big things. That's why he gave the boy his own name, despite the fact he was the youngest of five. His father named him Ryuu Takeo Tokushima IV, not only passing on the family name, but the slaving business it's self. It was obvious the small dragon was his father's favorite, much to the dismay of the older boys. But little Ryuu was oblivious to it all, simply enjoying the attention that he got.

However his little paradise didn't last long. Laws in both Farlan and Elafa cracked down on slaving, but knowing only one way of life, his father continued to slave on the borders of both nations. One day after a raid, the imperial elf army suddenly appeared, and arrested the whole camp and sent them to a prison deep into the forest. The whole family was branded with the sign of captured slavers, Ryuu included despite his tender age of six.The family spent months in the prison before the verdict of King Ein arivved condemning them to death.

Ryuu was spared this fate, being protected by Elafa's laws on age of Majority. Instead he was sent to Spinta, to learn peaceful things. There he grew up, quite bitter at the world. The teachers at Spinta refused to teach him any dragon arts, he was considered too much of a threat. It grew to be quite maddening to be able to feel the fire in his veins and to not have control over it. So secretly he began to practice by himself, studying from books he took out of the library in secrecy. It helped, but there was one thing he could not teach himself, to transform. Ryuu had no idea to see the dragon side of him, and he hated every teacher he had for refusing to help him.

Shortly after his fifteenth birthday he ran away from the sanctuary, taking only a horse and the books he studied from. He traveled to the capital of the Dragon Lands, but being branded sorely hurt his efforts of trying to find a job. He stole for a living. Food, money, clothes. Whatever he could get his hands on. He went uncaught until he decided to lift some merchandise from a bounty hunter. Instead of killing Ryuu he forced him to work off his debt, and at the same time Ry learned a trade. The bounty hunter nicknamed him Fireball, because of his quick temper and raw power.

Being restless, it wasn't long after he learned to control his fire and temper, and some swordsmanship before he broke off and went his own way. Ryuu traveled the island, picking up jobs from all sorts of people, from every race. He enjoyed working for the highest bidder, money becoming his only friend. His nickname stuck, becoming what most would call him as he frequented bars and pubs. Still being quite bitter and angry he traveled alone and talked to few.
