This is a play-by-post roleplay based on the BioWare game, Dragon Age, most specifically revolving around the plot of Dragon Age 2. It follows Hawke's adventures through Kirkwall as he rises to champion, taking place right after the Hawkes have reached Kirkwall.Both original and canon characters are accepted. These characters will have their own impact upon the plot and may even change its course. The board and its owners are not affiliated with BioWare or EA Games. Please register under whatever username you would like. The staff will change your username to that of your character once he/she is approved.

This forum-based roleplay allows both original and canon characters, and follows Hawke's adventures through Kirkwall, starting with his meeting with Varric. Alice is bored. She would like to do something exciting! So she roams an area (tbd), looking for an opportunity to do it. It may be a chance meeting - new people! - an opportunity to overhear/spy on something she wouldn't see otherwise - spywork's exciting! - loot or steal something, get into trouble, the entertainment sector or simply get a new job. Or anything else you can think of. It may be foolish.
It's got to be exciting and rather fast-paced, so that means no quanari. Their stoicism is anathema to this particular thread. Tal-Vashoth are ok.
But most of all she would welcome characters who are crazy, mad, bored like her, or a daredevil. Lively.
Any ideas are welcome and rewarded with cookies!

Well... Rellik is always getting himself into one bloodbath or another. Perhaps she could interrupt him while he is on a job? Also, he is crazy. Berserker crazeh.

Oh, yeah. I've seen some of the threads... I have a very baaad feeling about this, but lets do it! After all, if something doesn't work out, she can always make a run for it, right? She's a rogue, she should be faster than he is... right? (plus, Bron falls rather marvellously into the whole "people are bastards" thing... any inspiration from the Bronn of ASOIF?)

It isn't fun and games until someone gets hurt. XD He wears heavy armour, so I'm pretty sure she can outrun him lol. He can be light on his feet and has a lot of stamina but you could easily lose him.  A bit of Bronn, a bit of Zaeed Massani from Mass Effect.  What date and location would work for you?

Any, really. It's Alice. She doesn't care, she doesn't plan and she likes random roamings. You never know what you can accidentally learn, and often those are the most valuable of lessons. So, we'll do it the way Bron would. By the way, why are we so sure it's gonna be a fight? Maybe they will be best buddies! It's all in the cards, right?

If Rellik is involved, there will be a fight somewhere. He'll probably be butchering a whole basket of kittens when you bump into him. XD He has no buddies. There are people who give him money and people who do not give him money lol. But he isn't so crazy he'll kill anyone out of hand. He needs a reason... even if that reason is somewhat hard to see.
