These are from back in the day, haha. Some of them may be horrible, but I will share them to you. I start with Josafayen, the precursor to Arcaran and Cireniel.
Some of these I may even find a place to put these characters.
| QUOTE | Name: Josafayen Schlauss Birth Nation: Tavrica/Endal Rank: The Beast Age: 26 Height: 5’10” Weight: None of your business
Appearance: Josafayen is a beautiful woman, with slightly tanned skin and black hair falling down her back. Her eyes are green, and her lips are full. She has a fine, muscular body, and covering it, a light, customised version of her former Endali armour. It is open in the chest, and over her chest, there is chainmail. On her back, she carries her beloved crossbow, Ruina Cuspis. Her armour is a dark purple lined with red instead of gold. From her shoulderpads trails a red cape.
Her outlook on life is dark and cold. She cares not for others, but instead focuses on killing and destroying, and not only this, but infiltration as well. She’s a sick fiend, enjoying the slaughter and torture of innocents. She is neutral towards the nations; she does not care whether they fall or flourish. But she longs for continent-wide war, planning to achieve this end once she gains more power.
Biography: Josafayen was born to a Tavrican trader named Gleia and an Ainori horse trader named Sigmund in Tavrica. She loved bows, and she would practice with them continually. She also loved axes, but wasn’t skilled enough at the time to wield them. She just focused on bows at the time. She was a pretty decent shot, though she needed some better training.
When she came of age, her sent her off to a small rural town, Vinsburg, where a friend of his, Trystan, trained her to become what she’d wanted to become: an axe- and bow-fighter. His first task was teaching her to use a wooden axe. Once she had graduated from knocking dummies to the ground with those, he graduated her to a real weapon: the axe. She trained in heavy armour as well as light, wanting to perfect her skill. And after her completion of the training using the axe, he began coaching her in archery. This was her forte; her aim impressed him muchly. He sent her off to the nearby city of Zendar with some money. He told her to go the castle and from there she would be told what to do. She bought a horse, and decided she enjoyed riding. She wanted something do with her life, so she rode to Endal, seeing if there was any work for her. She was recognised for her skill, so she lived in Endal for a while as a mercenary, getting paid a lot, then finally became a citizen. She joined the Endali infantry, and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a lieutenant under a commander named Rudolphus.
Under the command of Commander Rudolphus, she fought valiantly, her archery skills and skillful axe-fighting key in many battles. The taste of battle and the coppery scent of blood invigorated her. And she would have climbed up in the ranks had it not been for another Endali named Valerius. Valerius was a brilliant archer, and he outshone her in many ways. He always boasted of it in the pubs. As well, he flirted with her, but obviously only saw her outer beauty. He seemed glad he was getting the position instead of her.
Josafayen resented him, and when he became promoted to captain, she left, not wanting to have to follow his orders. She returned to her homeland of Tavrica, enlisting in their army. She may have been the only legionnaire there. She longed for the coppery scent of blood, and there was little action like that which she had seen in the Endali army. She was bored with what she was doing.
Then she had an interesting experience…one that would change her life forever.
There was a foom, the sound of an arrow whizzing through the air. Two armoured fingers caught it in midair. Josafayen looked up to see a knight in dark armour looking at her arrow curiously. “You have impressive aim,” he remarked. “Who taught you?”
“A man named Trystan,” she replied. “Who are you?”
“War,” replied simply with a smirk under his helmet.
Josafayen backed up. “You…you’re supposed to be legend…”
“Legend? You would believe the Ainori lies? No, no…I am part of the Dark Brotherhood. We were modeled after that story, but we are quite real.” He chuckled. “You can be one of us too. You would be able to fight…to kill…to cause chaos. Much like you seem to be wanting to do.”
She backed up. “Wh-what are you saying? That you stalked me?”
“An…ah, associate of mine has been following you. But for good reason. Do you accept my proposal?”
She looked at her feet. “I…I wish to know more…”
“What more is there to know? Follow me, and you will find what you seek. You will be able to fight as you have always wanted.”
“Really? What are your terms?”
“You will serve under myself. And you will not show pity on your enemies. You will be a part of war, and shall help to cause it. We are not a kindly people, but the world needs chaos for balance. Will you join me?”
“Y…yes,” she said.
And so, he took her under his wing, and taught her how to be a follower of War. War was a harsh master. He kept feeding her lies, and turning her against all that was good. While she grew stronger, she grew crueler as well. Her love for the rush of battle fueled her desires. Her past was forgotten, and now, focusing on the present, she became a servant of War, his second-in-command. And she lusted for the power that was his. She promised herself she would take him down. She gained physical power, killing many to do it. She honed her skill with the bow, and now is one of the most skilled bow-users on the continent. After the disappearance of their two former leaders, she became The Beast, leader of the Dark Brotherhood, that unknown person who was feared and hated throughout the continent.

Next up is the King of Ainor, Meinhard von Reichter. This profile is, obviously, unfinished. This and the one above were from one of my favourite RPs, Dark of Night. Unfortunately, drama -- and a change to the RP that wasn't popular (as awesome as FM's work was) -- led to its death. Here is a map of Maris. Boy did I love that RP! | QUOTE | Name Meinhard von Reichter Nation: Ainor Rank: King Age: 67 Height: Weight:
Appearance and Personality: This is a courageous man, with a fierce personality and a passion for combat. Combining feverish passion with absolute bravery, Meinhard will gladly charge into battle with his men. But Meinhard is no fool. He does not risk his men, his land, or his own self foolishly, using the advice of his men and his own knowledge to know when it is best to fight, wait, or retreat. He is cunning and intelligent, and very good negotiator. He is very trustworthy, and his men look to him for leadership. He is fiercely religious and follows the words of Aodeyn exactly.
Off the battlefield, Meinhard is a different man. He is kind, caring, and compassionate, though stern with anyone who disobeys him, in a way that he does not seem angry, but instead, severely disappointed, and it fills the person with guilt. He rarely lashes out with anger. He prefers to talk things out. He is careful when making his decisions, and considers the other person's view. He is very friendly and a nice person to spend time with.
Meinhard is a strong man. It shows in his bulk. His hair is a light brown, the typical Ainori colour, and it is turning gray on the edges. His eyes are a light shade of gray. His beard is lightly trimmed. His silver-and-red armour, once worn by James of the Eight in the legendary battle against Valistrix, is heavy, but he moves in it fluidly, almost like it isn't there. This is because he has reached such strength that he has grown out of the confines of armour, and moves swiftly, just like his steed, Heimlich. Heimlich is gray, with a darker gray main. He has a large warhorse from Saxe-Coburg, and he is one of the finest, as the king's mount. His horse wears James' horses' special armour, handed down to his son Meinhard. It is barding, which protects the horse from horseslayer weapons and magic.
Biography: Seventeen years before the Sundering, James gave birth to a son, choosing to name him Meinhard, which was the name of his wife, Gretchen's, father. The knight cared for his son, and trained him in how to fight from horseback when he was just a young boy. The knight told him of his past adventures, and of the great things that had happened. Meinhard enjoyed the stories his father would tell him. Then, when Meinhard was 13, still dedicating himself to his fighting, he left his son to go fight in a war. His little brother, James Jr., was only four at the time. He and his mother took care of him. He would show his little brother the horses, and James would watch Meinhard ride. The times were rough, because there was a war going on, but they persevered, Meinhard would go to taverns and inns, hoping to hear about what side was prevailing. They had been staying in the plains of Sacae. James rode home to find them, gathering those with them, as suddenly, the continent began to flood. They waited it out, for two years, surviving in the mountains where the waters hadn't reached. Their father led them and the large variety of people who'd been with them. The land was rich and fertile. 21-year-old Meinhard and ten-year-old James did what they could to help. Meinhard was exceptionally active in helping his father start a kingdom. During the time they'd been in the mountains, James had told his son of the things he'd done. He'd fought against Valistrix's armies with the king of Ilia and a fierce bow-woman.
He helped his father build Ainor when he returned from the meeting of the Treaty of the Eight, and attended his father's coronation ceremony. (I'll add more here when I hear from FM...need ideas).
(This is later in the bio. Adding so I don't forget. )
Meinhard once commanded a fight against Illyria, defending Naruhad against the invaders. The battle was fierce, and it was uncertain what side would win. Then, Meinhard executed a secret Ainori trick with his horses, a strategy that helped turn the tide. Finally, during this same battle, Meinhard himself charged, Escalon in hand, and plowed through the morphs, all the way to their officer. He drove Escalon into the man's heart, and his horsemen mopped up what was left. They celebrated that victory for a long time.

Notes: Meinhard's foreign friends include: Salevran Naraskedal, Emperor Aurieus Cyrus Darius (deceased), Verald of Endal (deceased), Grand Marshal Argyros Rinovindis of Lequall, and High Prince Skeid Odyr of Vadal. |

Titus, of the Endal Empire.
| QUOTE | Titus Galernius Canus Contents [hide]
1 Vital Statistics 2 Appearance & Personality 3 Biography 4 Battle Statistics 4.1 Weapons
[edit] Vital Statistics
Nation: Endal Rank: Milite Age: 32 Gender: Male Height: 5'10" Weight: 178 lbs. Played By: Great Knight
[edit] Appearance & Personality
Titus has the typical appearance of a soldier. You might think him nothing more than that. He has olive skin, and dark brown hair, cut short. His eyes are grayish-green. He has a large, hooked nose. He is not ugly, but he's not an Adonis, either. He wears the standard, Empire-issued armour. His armour is metallic, and bronze. His helmet matches it. He carries a purple, rectangular, semi-cylindrical shield. He carries two lances, one a lance and the other a spear, a short sword, and a dagger, all issued by the Empire. Over his shoulders is draped a cape. His is quite muscular.
Titus is a dedicated warrior. He has utmost faith in the Empire, and, in combat, he fights with great dedication. He is friends with the men he fights with, and that's essential, because legionaries are trained to fight and work together. He is a very sociable and kind individual when not in battle. He also has a good sense of humour, and he is a good sport. He's very active, and does his best to keep himself in shape. He is very disciplined. He does what is asked of him. When he fights, he thinks of his wife and children. He fights for them and for Endal. [edit] Biography
Born in Pax Endalia when it was (fill this in, TEH), a Legionary training camp, Titus was the son of a soldier and his wife. He had two brothers, Amicus and Galantis. They were older than him, and they were hoping to be soldiers like their father. Titus’ father hoped that he would be a soldier like his brothers were aspiring to be. He was a proud soldier, proud of his nation and proud of his sons. He cared for them, and wanted them to proud of their nation too. He grew them up hoping he would rear them to be dedicated and good soldiers of Endal. And he did, too. They were good boys, and they would play in the backyard, and Titus would play as he got older. They would have pretend fights, something they all enjoyed. He knew they were destined to become dedicated Endalian soldiers as they got older.
Bad news arrived to Titus and his family. His father had died, fighting a rebellion. His father had just been promoted to Centurion, as well, before his death. Titus was incredibly sad, but he didn’t let it get in the way of his duties. In fact, he pushed himself harder and harder, hoping to become the soldier his father had wanted him to be. He only wished his father had been there to see him. He trained with his quarterstaff, though he was only eight. Such a young boy with a spear…Titus was determined to make a difference in his departed father’s eyes. Construction was beginning on the grand fort, Pax Endalia.
Titus’ two brothers went off to attend the academy once they came of age, and Titus was left alone at the house. Then, finally, he came of age and went off to the academy himself. He underwent rigorous training. They taught him how to fight with his shield and quarterstaff. They taught him drill. They forced upon him and the group he trained with marches with tight loads and in tight formation. They were constantly testing the soldiers-to-be’s will and endurance. The group Titus was with was very good. They were very dedicated and wanted to be soldiers of Endal, and wanted to achieve glory. Of course, there was the odd egg here and there…and he ended up getting caught and was badly punished by the centurion for his misconduct. Titus was only scolded for not doing well, despite his trying the best. That was like what every soldier had to go through. Despite that, he remained true to his country, and forced himself to be strong no matter how much he was thrashed.
It helped him become more disciplined. He graduated ready to face the world. He became a legionary of Endal, and his career had begun. He was stationed at Pax Endalia. It was a well-defended place, and it was now his home. He was eighteen at the time, and yet, he was a fine lance-fighter. Not above average, but quite good with what he did. He was, of course, still training to become a legionary. He served with pride, and he soon joined with a cohort that entered Avenno and conquered it. It had been holding out for quite a while, which was impressive, but now, with Pax Endalia built, Endal was able to conquer it easily. Palatenno had just been conquered at the time.
He returned to Pax Endalia, and trained more during his time there, and patrolled, and started training with a sword, knowing that would be what he’s going to use as a legionary. And then there was a rebellion in Suini. Nogera, trying to show their place in the world, they attacked the peaceful nation of Suini, and Endal rushed to its aid. This was where he met Amacia, because she, and several others, were added to the cohort. They fought side-by-side in formation, and Titus was stunned by her skill. He was also awed by her beauty, and her spirit. They faced rough times together, because many of their fellow countrymen died to the Nogerans, and it was traumatic, but Titus was tough, and, what he admired in her, Amacia was tough too. A miraculous thing happened at this time. In the middle of the battle, Titus realized a new power in him, and he picked up an item from a fallen enemy, and he felt a connection with it, then he glowed, and afterwards, there was a legionary standing there ratther than a soldier. They returned to Pax Endalia after Nogera had been defeated and Suini submitted to the Empire. He confessed his love to her, and they spent time together, then married. [edit] Battle Statistics

Ulrich von Reichter. In the first version, he was actually the king, as his father had died.

[edit] Personality:
Ulrich didn't really ask to be a prince. He tries to stay optimistic towards life, but doesn't feel he has the blessing of the gods. He never thinks he'll live up to his father's greatness. In battle, he fights proudly, not to kill, but to protect. He is not bloodthirsty, but he detests morphs and other horrific monsters that have no good in their hearts. He will strike them down with little mercy, in the name of St. Elimine and in the name of Ainor. He is very proud of his country, but insanely restless and bores easily. He hates being the center of attention. [edit] Appearance:
Ulrich is a red-haired man who wears a long red frilled cape over red Ainori hussar armor. His hair is tidy, yet it falls on his face at odd angles. It is a vibrant red-brown that his family was known for. It is cut short to the back of his neck. His chin his small and his eyes are a soft brown, but they seemed to pierce into the soul of anyone he is staring at. He has begun to grow a goatee. He intends to keep it as a goatee. He is an average, almost small man. Some of his nobles tower above him. He is somewhat muscular, but he is not a hulk. He wears the typical red armour of a Hussar, with a leopard skin cape draped on it and decorative "wings" on his back. He has a soft brown horse. [edit] Biography:
Born the eldest son of Meinhard von Reichter, Ulrich was raised in the palace to be a king from an early age. Because he was the son of the king, everyone expected him to do what was right and proper. He grew up to be well-mannered, and he didn't eat too much, not wanting to appear to be a glutton. He usually imitated his father, and since his father was a good ruler and a very decent role model, he grew up to be very well-mannered. At first, he found it cute, then it began to make him proud, and his praise helped make Ulrich want to strive to be better.
He was trained in horsemanship and swordfighting by the king's brother, James von Reichter. For lance-wielding, he turned to Gregor, a friend of the king. He rode atop his beloved steed, Windig. His main weapon that he enjoyed using was the sword. He had very good aim with a javelin, and, after lots of practice, hit the bullseye several times in a row. He soon became skilled enough to use bows, and trained with them, making sure not to neglect his training with the lance and the sword. He jousted many times with his fellow knights. Sometimes he won and sometimes he lost, but soon he found himself winning more as he became more skilled.
Windig died, and Ulrich took a new horse, Caspar. Caspar was a calmer horse than Windig. Whereas Windig would always be charging into battle, Caspar seemed to know when it was right to do something or just to hang back, from the tone of his master. Ulrich spent most of his free time atop Caspar, riding him and training for battles. The rest of his time was spent poring over the texts of St. Elimine, which he held close to his heart and abide by. He spent endless nights reading up on the old legends, and read stories of old heroes. When he grew of age, he took command of an army, leading several Ainori men to victory in battles that further unified Ainor.
During his command of part of the Ainori Army, he was looked after and had the last bit of his youthful training, under the young Grail Knight, Maddox Reinbecht. Training both himself and his men, he helped see the trust his father had in the young Colonel, at the time. The devotion and loyalty to Ainor gave him a stronger passion for his own self interests. Also, the beliefs shared by Maddox wedged into the young prince's thoughts.
On the battlefield, he seemed to feel more confident. Freer, and willing to fight for his people using spear rather than tongue. But times grew peaceful, and Ulrich grew restless. He knew that someday his father would pass on, but he didn't think he was ready, nor was he right for the job. One day, he donned some ordinary Hussar armour and rode off in silence. |

His sister, Anastasia.
| QUOTE | Anastasia von Reichter Contents [hide]
1 Vital Statistics 2 Personality: 3 Appearance: 4 Biography: 5 Combat Statistics 5.1 Weapons
[edit] Vital Statistics
Name: Anastasia von Reichter
Former Nation: Ainor
Rank: Former Princess; Daughter of the King
Age: 21
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 119 lbs. [edit] Personality:
She is calm, caring, loving, and timid. She loves her life of royalty, yet, Stein's sexuality and their soon-to-be forced marriage pressures the girl. What was once a life of luxury is now a nightmare. She cannot get her way anymore, and she enjoyed having her way. But she's not spoiled; she can adapt. She cares about others and is scared easily. Blood sometimes makes her queasy, but she wants to be a healer so that she can help people. [edit] Appearance:
A beautiful young girl, with trailing dark reddish-brown hair falling down her back. Her face shows a radiant innocence and beauty; her eyes are as blue as the Ainori rivers. She possesses a fine body much like her mother's, and on it she wears a small pink blouse and a short white skirt with tight pants underneath for decency. Over her blouse is a red satin cape. Around her neck she wears a gold pendant with a red stone on it. Her horse is a young palomino named Zinger. [edit] Biography:
Thought to be born the daughter of King Meinhard von Reichter and his Queen Griselda, in truth, she was actually the daughter of the king's brother James and the Queen of Ainor. She grew up in a world of luxury, and, unlike her brother, enjoyed it immensely. She'd dress herself in fancy clothes and go running up and down the hall, being silly with her brother, whom she started to form a tight bond with. She didn't get out much, preferring the enclosure of the castle, but loved to ride horses like many other Ainori people. But when her brother went out to war, she asked to join him. She wanted to heal his troops, not realising that they had plenty of healers. She sobbed when Ulrich said no, and it made her sometimes feel worthless.
She instead immersed herself in the art of healing, studying its roots and how to use it effectively. She would prove to her brother that she was worth something, and she would do it well. She stopped playing, devoting all her time to this, taking expensive lessons and studying in expensive books, then going out into the palace courtyard to seek out injured creatures and heal them. Saving their lives made her feel so good. She recalls a time when she found a dying bird and healed it completely, then picked it up and it could take flighty once again. It left her hand for the great blue sky.
Her father named Ulrich the Crown Prince and decreed this officially, then, mainly to settle a dispute, had her marry the son of the of the Duke of Aix-la-Chappele. His name was Stein; he had slicked-down black hair and an oddly almost perfect smile. But she didn't want him, because everything he wanted for her was between her legs. He made love to her several times, and there was nothing she could do about it. [edit] Combat Statistics

Kreszenz is country folk. Not very literate, but a very kind girl. She cares deeply about her mother, and has dedicated her life to saving her. She does not know how to act around nobility, nor does she understand what war and fighting are like. But she doesnt care. Shell do what it takes to save her mother. Her eyes are an inhumanly bright green, and her hair is blonde. She is very slender, and carries a home-made shield and lance, and light armour that was once a young soldiers. It is tattered in places, and one can easily see where its been repaired. She's a cute little girl, but her helmet is almost always concealing it. [edit] Biography
Kreszenz was a poor girl born as a bastard child to a mother who cared deeply for her. She never knew her father, nor did her mother recall who he was, due to the fact that she was already growing ill. Her father, it turned out, had died fighting for the Thanedom he lived on. Shed been afflicted by a family curse that dated way back into the times of King Raymond. They have been afflicted by a horrible curse that was passed on through the generations in their family. Kreszenz and her mother had been converted, them being in the Donnor Thanedom. The eldest in the current generation always died at mid-age of an illness that lasted their whole life. It was caused by Storag, the god of misfortune, who frowned upon the family, unable to forgive them for their unknown ancestor's misdeeds towards the gods.
But Kreszenz sought to change this. She knew she had an older cousin who would suffer from this ailment, and her mother was already starting to die. So one day she found a spearhead, tied it to a pole, and began to thrust. She continued doing so, and, with a fiery passion, trained herself hard, almost as hard as a Lequallian would be trained. She spent her time in the forests, forcing herself to think, to fight. She had been doing this since she was twelve, and now fourteen, shed made great progress, and felt ready to be knighted. She had a homemade shield shed learned to use with her lance, and a kindly lancer had donated his old armour to her. She felt ready to become a Grail Knight of Ainor.
She told her mother what she was going to do and why, then headed to Ainor, hoping to be knighted. They flat-out refused her, and so she started to look for an alternative. She bought a horse, and decided to travel as a mercenary for now, but hoped to find a Grail Knight who would help her on her quest. |

ah...the poor von Reichters. Their father dies in Maddox's arms, Ulrich starts the longest, most massive rp in DoN, and Anastasia got horrible things done to her on her way to meet up with Daren's escort in Endal.
But...was Titus from one of the newer, suckier DoN incarnations? I have no recollection of that Emperor.

Titus wasn't an emperor; he was a legionary. ^^
Ah, the memories. I miss it so much ;~; I miss Field Marshal too!

I thought I saw that...but it may have been from looking at where it said Meinhard was king, then going down to Titus.
One thing I won't miss was the bullshit godmodding that took place against Volcus. . . .which...isn't sectioned off on that map. I recalled it being isolated within Sons of Sand territory.

I hated that godmodding! D:
And yeah, it's there. Its border is that line close to the tip.
