Some basic rules:
1.) No abuse. This includes racial/ethnic discrimination, disability discrimination, sexual discrimination, etc. This also includes harmful or hurtful posts which some people may find offensive.
2.) Keep profanity to a minumum. It's OK in context, and we don't mind the occasional F word, but abuse our generous nature and you'll take a short walk and a long drop.
3.) Pornography can be considered offensive, and we consider other peoples thoughts. Tasteful pornography is OK (e.g. in a graphic designed for someone else or in your signature), but full frontal nudity will not be accepted.
4.) We do not condone illegal activities, and anyone found doing so will be given an appropriate punishment. This also includes linking to and/or providing Warez and cracks.
5.) Be nice to n00bs. Report them to a member of staff if they act irrationally, but we were all new once.
6.) Don't flame. If someone asks a question and you think that the answer is really simple, don't go calling them n00bs. Answer the question if you know the answer. Just remember: There was a time when you didn't know the answer.
7.) Anyone found to be breaking the above rules should be immediately reported to a member of staff to let them deal with. Don't backseat moderate.
To have your username changed, PM an admin, preferably Pete and we will try to get back to you as soon as possible.
Note: Title your PM "Name Change" so we do not overlook it.
1.) Any member is eligible for a name change, although you must wait a minimum of three months between requesting username changes.
2.) Generally, you may not request the name of an existing member. Exceptions can be made to this rule under certain circumstances.
3.) Username formatting (e.g. capitilisation, spacing, spelling errors) may be done at any time. Follow the above guidelines on how to go about getting your name formatted.
4.) Members with more than 2 current warns will have their request overlooked.
