After the world settled from the Skrull invasion and life went, slowly, back to normal for our dear contestants in this terrible game called life everyone seemed to split and head their separate ways. The New Warriors re-settled in the states, while X-Factor and IMSF began work anew. The X-Men, now disbanded, were a special Genoshan police force at the time. The Thieves guild were... well, thieves, and then there were the bad guys.
The United States was recently crippled under an attack by Amadeus Cho, and are now rebuilding in the wake of the destruction. There were no mass deaths, except on the part of riots. Mister Cho was smart, though he may have.. upset dear old daddy Trask in the process.
The threat that was Elias Bogan has been exterminated, though that didn't change the fact that the world is an unsafe place, that's for sure! The Big Bad Wolf Mister Sinister was still on the scene, and he wasn't being quiet about anything he was doing, either, the pale faced man recruiting and attacking all over the place. The death toll (and limb toll) rose over time. While he chased down the Loners, the reformed Brotherhood chased him. Eventually, after kidnapping Forge and Loa, he was chased to his underwater lab where he was apparently murdered by Quicksilver.
Though not before planting his seeds... Wolverine and Deadpool, what? And let's not forget our dear Asylum, slowly on the move in the underground, waiting for the proper time to strike... rumors abound! The nuclear war is off... Empath may be taking a page from the book of our dear Mister Cho.
Though something else has begun stirring.
Bah Weep Granah Weep Ninni Bong. That's right, Transformers have landed, and they aren't all here to be our friends. What are they after? And how long before they get it?
