Simon gaped openly and then shook his head. "Damn it, ninja-boy," he said calmly, looking to where an edge of the attack had carved a small crater near his foot. "That almost hit me!" He looked around casually and took in another drag of his cigarette as he moved slowly away from the area. "Let's review," he muttered, moving quietly away. "I'm fighting what appears to be a metal dinosaur who can control metal, and I use metal weapons. Hope Caster's doing better." "Then you'd better come up with a new hope," gasped a voice nearby, and Caster tumbled out from between two buildings. There was a small but deep-looking hole in his chest. "Caster?" exclaimed Simon. "Holy hell, what happened to you?" "I underestimated him," panted Caster. "He's...very...very...good..." "Are you going to be okay?" "Well," there's a good thing about this," he muttered. He casually drew out a sliver of metal that was embedded in the edges of the wound. "This is from his body, so, in theory..." He placed his hand on it and closed his eyes. Searching...searching...searching...searching...found him. "Stand back, Simon," muttered Caster. He placed the shard carefully on the ground and then drew metal up from the ground and hurled it in a silverish arc and headed straight towards the Commandramon. "This will stab him thorugh the head," he explained to his partner. "He's made of metal, so it won't do anything. But when I start running electricity through it," and he laughed maniacally. "We'll see how long he survives."

Commandramon stopped, then swiftly scaled the building, readying to launch an Adamantine Saber towards the dragon. He vaulted over the edge, the rising morning sun shining behind him, illuinating the city and awakening it to the destruction. A metal spear hurtled through the air-- Struck him in the chest-- He staggered, clutching the weapon-- Cracks began to spread across his chest, webbing out to his arms as fractures. His eyes went wide in pain. He stumbled forward, as the weapon's momentum carried it at an angleto burst through his shoulder blade. A ragged cough spilled from his throat. He looked across the gap between buildings to the wizard, holding the other end of the blade. A claw of dark energy burst from the roof beneath his feet, clawing at him from all angles while rooting him to the spot in a pool of the shimmering black liquid. He coughed again, feeling electrical pulses fire through the spear in rapid succession-- The wizard!

Wingman flew back a good 20 feet. Jeez, this guy took the term invincable machine to a new level. Even though the countermeasure blocked the attack, it was a one time thing...which ment he had to be very careful now. Wingman knew he had to step up his game, but how? Everything they threw at this guy, he could counter in some way. The angelic digimon was in disbelief. If this was the rookie they had to face to take care of this virus...what would the champion and armor be like? Or the Ultimate? Wingman looked at Commandramon, his fist starting to glow. He finally gathered enough strength and fired a blast from his fist, his Guiding Fist of Fate, at the machine digimon. "Let's see him dodge that..." "Wingman...guys...I have an idea, but we're going to have to play defense while attacking at the same time." "What?" "We basically have someones digimon assend to the champion level. That digimon will not attack...instead...it will act like a human shield while all our other digimon attack from behind it. When that digimon gets seriously injured, everyone will throw healing items and such to the tamer in charge of that digimon so the protection can continue. It may be our only shot to take this guy down. Phoenix, what do you think?"

HybridSuriumon leapt from the window he had been sent reeling through and turned his wings, beating against the dead air to regain altitude. Using his nose more than his eyes, he made his way up to the rooftop, to where Chaos was standing, looking over the battle.
"Good to see you again," she said.
"Little bastard," he returned immediately. "You got any suggestions?"
"Not really. You know how to fight better than I do."
"True enough."
He leapt off the edge of the building, opened his wings and this time kept himself above his enemy, hanging in the air, watching below carefully. He was... extremely close to Simon and Caster, hitting them properly with the attack he had hoped to use would be a terrible idea--
"Golden Tears!"
Twin spears of light burst into existance, hovering above the Commandramon, and tilted to face him, shooting forward to intersect approximately at the base of his spine.

Commandramon smirked, then swiftly withdrew the blades from their throats, close enough to leave the skin tingling. He then merged with metal once more and traveled down the length of the metal javelin that Caster had created, and rose from the silver muck that had once been a clone on the opposite roof. The twin lances of light still tore straight for Simon and Ancient. He grinned, baring a mouth full of teeth. He dropped to all fours and moved to scale the backside of the building-- The furred dragon blocked his path. The rising sun now cast its fiery glow across the city. A breeze now blew through the city, spreading the plumes of smoke across his fortress, staining the morning light crimson. Commandramon glanced to the left and right, Skydramon's Tamer was nowhere near. Commandramon's blodthristy wild smile widened, a howl escaped his throat and he rushed forward, lashing out with a scything claw of fluid silver. Starius ducked, then tore by him with the speed of Lightspeed Arrow. He slid to a stop, locking his back most foot. Commandramon turned, planted his claws into the roof and sent a whip of metal chewing through the ground straight for Skydramon. The rookie leapt off the edge of the rooftop, wings tucked tight to his sides, slipping to the elft to dodge the missile before unfurling his wings with a rush of air, touching down on the shattered balcony of what once had been a Naokakomi captains quarters. He gritted his teeth. He looked to the left, right and then above. He's not in any of these directions... so, Starius looked beyond his feet towards the street below-- HIs ears picked up a strange sound. He coiled his muscles and bolted from the balcony a split second before Commandramon's club-like arm smashed into the balcony from the side, splintering glass and concrete. His wings beat rapidly, clearing the impact zone. Starius shot straight up, never slowing down until he reached the next roof. His eyes picked up the movement of the enemy, and the distant rocket flares from Guardromon followed by the intense flare of blue-white light from the northern wall from what he guessed was a Boltmon. His attention immediately snapped back to the battle at hand as a harsh rain of steel needles began chewing away at the roof around him. The assault was relentless, an endless swarm of needles grazing his skin, drawing blood whenever they shot by too close-- "I've found you!" Came the ragged exclamation--
Phoenix tackled the two Tamers before, him, grappling them both around the shoulder he vaulted over the edge of the roof as the twin spears smashed into the platform reducing it to rubble. Whatever momentum they had quickly died out as they dropped towards the street as it rose up to swallow them. He worked quickly, forming handeals before splaying his arms out before Simon and Ancient as he taped into the Tears power. A pillar of water exploded from the street directly beneath them, The impact with the platform of water drove the air from his lungs, but the positioning of his arms at least righted their angle somewhat. Gasping for air he rolled onto his back as the pillar lowered them to the soaked street below, smelling faintly like rain.
"Metallic Termination!" rang out, claws of steel burst into existence and swiftly moved to enclose the dragon, and kill him with absolute crushing force. Starius tucked his wings tight against his body, there was no use risking them being damaged. "Koken no Seirei!" White light pierced the metal, fractures rippled across its silvery surface, webbing out into smaller cracks before crumbling before commandramon's eyes with a fierce gust of white wind-- Crackling blue burst through the cloud of debris, held in the dragon's palm as he rocketed towards the surprised rookie. He made the final push, and shoved his arm forward impacting the metal saurian with a resounding bang. Red hot cracks began to spider across the Commandramon's chest as the dragon's hand embedded itself in his artificial flesh still radiating with the same soul-elemental energy. Commandramon could feel white hot pain eating into his mechanical self. Numbed by the elemental he pathetically reached for the dragon's arm not even coming close to relieve the pain. He staggered as the heat of the technique began to fade, infrared sensors no longer showed scalding white shading, internal programming ran through a swift diagnostics check. Commandramonsuddenly tightened his grip on the dragons arm before sending liquid metal spiraling up the limb. Starius yanked away his arm in horror, quickly taking to the air as the metal clawed at him.

HybridSuriumon put up a shield the instant he was aware of the presence beside him, but it did no good; the shield, quickly formed and mostly useless, shattered from the impact and the wolf was sent flying, tumbling along the roof and skidding to a stop a short distance away.
He forced himself to his feet, slowly at first, and then in a flash of white disengaged his Champion level form and instead stood at his Rookie stage, glaring across at the Commandramon.
"Plasma Storm!" he cried, releasing a ball of concentrated electricity and sending it hurtling towards the infernal machine.

"This is annoying," Chaos growled, preparing to bring the Digivice up to eye level. She stopped on instinct and made certain that she was still relatively alone -- nobody nearby, certainly nobody paying attention -- then turned her attention the Digivice and looked over her options quickly.
"Ah, of course," she murmured, looking over the battlefield. "Damn it, why didn't I check here earlier?"
