The Struggle Continues..., BOSCH saga 3

The Paildramon which had caught Kaidis spiraled downwards and Kaidis soon began to recognise the land below. As Paildramon tightened his grip on him, he did the same with Bosch. Soon they were back on land. Surprisingly though Kaidis simply returned to his Rookie form. There was something mighty familiar about their Saviour.
"Thanks... I don't know what came over me back there but if you hadn't of shown up then I-..."
"Think nothing of it... I hope we meet again..."
This was all Paildramon had to say before simply walking away. Kaidis watched him go before turning his attention back to Bosch who of course was still unconcious. Kaidis sighed deeply and eyed Bosch up and down and for the first time he had a good look at what the Virus had done to his Tamer. He swallowed hard but his attention was soon diverted when he suddenly got the feeling that they were no longer alone...

"Roeck," she began, "seems someone decided to drop in." Roeck, who was leaning aginst a cliff, looked at her and the direction she was pointing in. She was right, in the distance, a small, but noticable speck had appeared. Cole leapt off his boulder and landed with a thump on the ground.
"Seems more are coming," the lapine commented loosely, "should we go see if they are dead?" Rouge sent a silencing glance at him.
"Why, exactly, do we care if they are dead?" Roeck nodded in agreement.
"Because, dear Rouge, we can loot their equipment if they are dead." Rouge scoffed and mumbled to herself.
"Well," Roeck said, "in that case, it wouldn't hurt to go see if there is anything useful."
"Are you serious?" Rouge growled silently as she tailed Cole and Roeck who swiftly dashed through the barren landscape towards the stranger in the distance, all the while keeping a close eye on the oncomers in the distance.

Ancient and Wingman land right behind Bosch and Kaidis. Ancient looks at Kaidis. "Well...that was a rush back there...Hey Kaidis...what's up........oh boy......Kaidis...I have a feelng we're not alone." Wingman digivolves back to Rookie Level. "I'll agree with you there Ancient...something's up...everyone on their guard." Ancient nods, pulls out his sword, and walks over to Kaidis. "Hey...can you still digivolve even though Bosch is still out? We'll need all the strength we can get to protect Bosch from whatever is out there."

"Seems the other one has also landed," the lapine said as they continued their dash through the barren landscape.
"Damn it," Roeck muttered, "should we continued going? There may be a struggle now." Cole shrugged.
"Who cares, we'll watch them from afar if needed. We may get some trainign out of this, since we've been missionless for the past few days."
Rouge, who was running next to Cole, glared at him. "Fine."

Ancient's ears perk up. "Oh yea...someone is there. Wingman....Kaidis...let's.well...actually we can' get moving...Bosch is still out...ok...then I guess we're staying here for training if we want to train." "I got a real creapy felling you guys...and when I get those feelings...its not good..."

A flock of shadows exploded from thin air, forming into a spinning pillar of darkness before dispersing with a rush of wind. Phoenix looked slightly exhausted, but nonetheless shook his head, clearing his long-ish black hair of ash particles. (( This is a volcanic crater)) "I can take care of him, Starius can keep a look out." he spoke, startling Ancient in the process. "Sorry for the Akatsuki jutsu...." He added, reminding himself of his mission. A flash of white--
The spirit dragon appeared, nodding to Ancient and Wingman, before proceeding over to Bosch.

"Oh great, another one has decided to spontaneously dropped in ," she whispered, halting her dash. Roeck and Cole followed suit and waited.
"So what now?" Rouge looked at both of them.
"We watch from afar," Roeck ordered as they decided to rest and relax behind some rocks.

Ancient looks at the spirit dragon, then at Phoenix. "What are you doing Phoenix? What exactly does this "dragon" do? Is it like some sort of move that will help keep the virus inside Bosch in check in the event that what those guys at the temple did wasn't enough?" Wingman nods. "Yea...what exactly is that thing capable of?"

Kaidis swallowed hard and scanned the area.
"I honestly don't know... I seriously doubt that it is possible to Digivolve without their Tamer..."
Just then however Phoenix appeared. Kaidis was a little surprised to see him but decided that he too would be interested to know what kind of danger
Bosch would be in. He watched the dragon approach them but he could sense no hostilities.
"Well... All I know so far is that the Virus is Codenamed 'Bosch' which just happens to be the alias that he goes by infront of most other Tamers. Especially if they're human. We also know that it mutates his body and when he does regain his human form, he is extemely weak... Of course, Phoenix seems to know a lot more than that, but still."

Ancient nods at Kaidis and once again looks at Phoenix. "So what exactly does that "dragon" do? Is it going to help us defend Bosch in the event of an emergency?.....hold that thought.....Phoenix...something seems off here...something isn't right...I get the feeling we're being watched...you know what I'm saying?"

"They seem to be alert. And that new comer who popped in is quite the strange one." Cole was content with his observation since he returned to the group and relaxed a bit. Rouge seemed calm and Roeck seemed to be in deep thought.
"So what's our next move?"
Rouge looked at him with one eye, "We wait. Plain and simple. Hopefully some Greymon or Growlmon come by and attack them and they show us some of their tricks."
Roeck smiled, "I think I see some coming now..."

Kaidis swallowed hard and shook his head.
"Oh well, never mind... So long as we lose Raidon for now then I guess we should be okay."
Just then, Kaidis felt Bosch move. He looked down to see that Bosch was indeed starting to come round. It was much earlier than expected but he was awake all the same. He gritted his teeth and sat up. He then ran his claws through his hair before finally turning to see his Digimon partner staring right back at him.
"Bosch!"
"Uhh... Man that sure was something... Huh? Is this Flare Crater?! But how did we get here?"
"I'll explain later. Right now I think we might have company..."
Sure enough, a Hunting pack of Greymon had spotted the weakened Tamer and appeared to be circling the area while pondering how to get everyone else out of their way. Eventually one of them couldn't take it anymore and charged right in with a roar. It was clear that Greymon were not stupid seeing as this one had gone for everyone else rather than heading straight for Bosch. It was as if it knew fine well that the others would no doubt protect their fallen comrade.
"Yikes...!"

Ancient looks at Bosch, then at the charging Greymon. "Good to see you're up Bosch...but we got a situation here...Wingman...see if you can teach this giant dino a leason." "Right...Angelic Blast!!" The attack nails the on-coming Greymon and slows it down a bit. "Ok...i got him warmed up. Someone else want to take the next shot?"

Bosch nods and raises his arm which has his Digivice strapped on to it.
"Okay Kaidis. I believe you know what to do by now..."
"Uh-huh! BlackMonodramon Digivolved to...! BlackStrikedramon! Strike Uppercut!"
Greymon growled took the hit and stumbled back before retaliating with Great horns attack. It lifted Kaidis off the ground and hurled him towards Wingman.
"Kaidis!"
Bosch's Digimon sailed through the air and landed behind Wingman. Missing both him and Ancient by inches. And to amke things worse, the ongoing battle with one of their own was starting to attract the rest of Greymons Hunting pack...
