Edge: Airspace To Endless Plains
Edge remained following Nova and Enix stealthly he had a feeling he could take those two on his own, but with his new order he decide he could give Kai some actually satisfaction and let him do some real work. He esablished a mental link with his partner, "Kai... We have new order. Chaos Shadow is now a open target. I know I haven't given you a chance to actually relieve some stress but here is your chance. Go back to Flare Crater and capture her... As for the rest. Do what you see fit, I really dont have any real orders for them."
Kai sent a message back, "Your going to stay after Nova aren't you?"
"Yep... He will figure out what I am to him eventually..."
"Okay... I'm off to Crater then." The Shadow-like form of Kai then headed back to to Base and the link was disconnected.
"Good Luck Partner..."

Nova and Enix "NeoZashuDramon": Airspace of the Endless Plains
Nova looked back and saw Edge gaining on him and Enix,
"Enix I think we should land soon, I don't want to get caught fighting him in the air."
Enix looked back as well, he was a bit surprised that they both could outrun him, and more eerie was that it seemed Edge's Digimon wasn't with him, "Yeah... That would be smart, I think we have a chance since it seems his Digimon isn't with him."
"That super large Oriental Dragon isnt with him?"
"Nope..."
Nova seemed too put his mind in overdrive, "Alright! Lets see what he is made of!" Nova then suddenly bolted downward to the ground in a ball of white light and Enix followed, to keep from crashing into the ground he easied up off the nosedive and landed gentlely on the grass, Enix landed like six feet away from him. They had landed in an area that was completely even and only a low level of grass. Nova then turned around to see Edge decending,
"Alright Enix... No more running."
"Right... Running never really fitted us well anyway..."


Edge: Landing in the Plains
Edge came down like a raging fireball, landing like 50 feet away from Enix and Nova, The Grass Area he landed in seemed to be completely charred and smoked lightly. He stood up and turn to face Nova and Enix. He gave them a happy smile,
"It seemed you two have finally stopped running... for now at least." Fireballs suddenly formed in his hands, his eyes then suddenly blazed golden fire as he merged them together, instead of forming a bigger ball they formed a sort of belt. The belt then flew into the air and suddenly began to rapidly expand until it was 90 feet by 90 feet in area and then went flying down in a blaze and turned the grassed it landed on into a ring of fire. Edge then picked up a random rock and threw it towards the ring of fire, as the rock went flying the firewall suddenly blazed up turning the rock into burnt ash. Edge then laughed out maniacally, "That is what will happen to the both of you if you try to run!!!"

Nova and Enix "NeoZashuDramon": Open Space in a Ring of Fire

Nova looked around as the wall of fire raged up, he could feel the intense heat breeze around him and Enix, good thing they both didn't plan on running away. Nova then looked back at Edge and grabbed his crest, he then started talking to Enix,
"Enix... I don't think I have pressured you to take to the next level before..."
"Nope... But I think we can do it."
Nova let out a light laugh, "Good..." As Nova said good the Digivice and the Crest suddenly let off a powerful glow of violet light that blinded Edge momentarily, Enix's Body suddenly raged with violet electricity that expanded into a Crystal shell, "NeoZashuDramon Black Digivolve too..." The Violet shell suddenly began to go dark, "MechaZashuDramon!!!" two white beam of light suddenly shot out the top of the shell causing the shell to fall apart as MechaZashuDramon was shown, roughly the same size as NeoZashuDramon MechaZashuDramon had lost his wings, they had been replaced with a booster pack and short jet like wings sabilizers. He had also gained a metal dragon helmet as well as he was now covered in armor. Enix then streched his new body as he looked at Enix with rage in his eyes, "Sure you don't want to run now?"


Edge: Landing in the Plains

Edge smirked, "So Enix you are somewhat useful." Edge then gave a mental command to make his weapon turn from guantlets to a Murasame Blade that he held in his left hand. He then stuck the blade momentarily into the ground as he held out his right hand, "This should be fun... even a challenge if you know how to even use your new form..." Data in the area started to give out... leaving a few pot holes in the ground. The data then began to swirl around Edge's right hand and it began to form into a bulky red-orange metal that covered Edge's entire right arm and torso as well as the right side of his face with a sort of armor. A turbine like device form on the back of his right hand as well as a turbine like wing formed on his back. They both began to swirl with a red-orange aura of energy and made everything in the immdiately area range because of the powerful energy wind. Edge then grabbed the sword with his left hand and held his right hand out in a defensive position as the turbine continued to swirl gather more energy. He looked at both Enix and Nova who obvisously surprised at the power he was putting out. He smiled at them both, "Shell Bullet Type 2... It the technique that wil be your end."

Nova and Enix "NeoZashuDramon": Open Space in a Ring of Fire

Nova roared out as he took his blade and stuck it into the ground to keep his balance, "What the hell is he anyway!!!" he could barely keep his footing. Enix then spoke to Nova he seemed to keep his balance much easier than his tamer, "Don't worry I'll get him!" Enix then raced off towards Edge, putting his guns in there holster he then began focusing his dragon energy into his hand he roared, "Dragon Slayer!!" A huge sword of Dragon energy erupted from Enix's palm. Racing towards Edge head on he swung the blade in a downward slah mothion that would of sliced the biggest rocks in two.


Edge: Landing in the Plains

Edge stood and used the shell armor on his right hand as a shield, "Whoa buddy! Your ARE stronger than I thought!" The wing turbine and the turbine on the back of his hand began to spin more violently until it forced Enix off of Edge giving Edge about 10 feet of space to work with. Edge then jumped up and spinned in a 1080 Degrees as he flew towards Enix at an impressive speed. He raised the sword so that it came downward in a cresent shape slash.

Levi proceeded towards the plains, watching Edge and Nova, who's battle was viewable from all directions. She hissed to herself as she kept her distance and watched. She landed about two miles away from the battle, making sure she had enough of a distance between them to be safe and watch.
"You should be able to handle this," she said to herself, "so I'll just sit here comfortably and watch you kill him."

Nova and Enix "NeoZashuDramon": Open Space in a Ring of Fire

Luckily, Enix maintain his focus so that his Dragon Slayer energy sword didn't dissapate. He raised the blade up and blocked Edge's Sword attack barely, if Edge had used him Shell Bullet attack he would of got him. Nova looked on at the battle as he was able to regain his balance somewhat, he had to think of a way to help his partner out,
"Edge seems to be imbue with fire, and fire's weakness is water..." He thought to himself. He took out a card from his pocket and swiped it, "Digi-Modify!!! Digital Gate-Rainstorm!!!" Suddenly cloud appeared making the sky turn dark and rain began to fall violently. So hard that Nova was forced to put up the hood of his cloak,
"Well Partner that should help you out a bit."
As the rain feel Enix's power began to drasically increase, his body began to glow with a intense with glow as he tossed Edge back serveral feet and pulled out his guns, "Mecha Magnums!!!" Two powerful beams of violet machine energy shot out at Edge

Edge: Open space surrounded by fire

Edge spins as he began to fly back, the rain didn't nessary make him weaker but it made his attacks weaker. His wing turbine on his back began to spin as the attacks flew fastly towards him. He then used the power he had gather to deflect the machine energy attack over accidently towards Levi. It hit the ground like five feet in front of her. He looked over to see her and yelled, "Sorry Levi!!!" Instead of stopping spinning he used the wing turbine again just to incrase his spin speed and began to laugh a bit, "Okay this sword is just for play but this arm of mines, "The wing turbine on the back began to glow and so did the turbine on the back of his palm,
"Is absolute!!! Shell Bullet Shockwave!!!" A powerful shockwave then was sent flying toward both Nova and Enix. It seemed almost unavoidable.

Nova and Enix "NeoZashuDramon": Open Space in a Ring of Fire

Nova roared, "Enix put up a shield!"
"But!"
"Just do it!!!"
Enix roared, "Dragon Whirl!!!" A giant vortex suddenly formed around him defending both him and Nova but the shockwave was only slowed down by the Vortex, but that was what Nova wanted."
"Counter Attack!!!" Nova roared, The Vortex then starts absorbing the shockwave and then in a blaze of pure energy shot back at Edge in a swirling manner spliting the ground as it headed back his way.

Edge eyes widened with excitement and surprise as the wave of energy splited and ripped up the ground and grass of the Endless Plains as it headed towards him at mach speed, "Wow! You two are actually managing to give me some fun with this little exercise." He say as he uses the wing turbine along with his already super agility and speed to do a super jump like 150 feet into the air dodging the attack completely as he keeps going and splits the firewall that Edge had just put up.
"Heh... that was pretty smart. Knowing your powers wasn't quiet strong enough to break my barrier you used my power as the blade of its destruction... nice..."


Nova and Enix raced off to the hole in the barrier at full speed. They didn't want to stay here and fight Edge any longer because it would only wear them out to be captured... or something even worst than that. Deletion... and nobody in the digital world wants to be deleted."
"This isn't good... I had an idea he was quite powerful but to be on your ultimate level Enix is just... unreal." Nova said racing with his speed extremely increased by the Indigo Tear leaving a strong glow of blue in his aftersteps.
"I know...He's a lot stronger than most champions, and his attack strength is top notch. Now that we have fought him we can think up a game plan."Enix said as he flew to the opening in the wall.

Nova ran and Enix flew threw the opening. Nova then jumped and was engulfed in a blue aura as he began to fly directly up and Enix followed, "Finally!!! We are out of that hell hole."
Enix spoke, "Where to n---!!!"

"Devil Hands!!!" From an eerie looking shadow below in the grass two shadow hands fly up from the ground and grab a hold of both Nova and Enix. They both struggled to break free but to no avail. Kai's grip was now absolute.
Edge smiled at Kai, "Partner... You have EXCELLENT timing." As the fire that was once a prison was suddenly dispelled by him. He closed his eyes and his alter power just dissapated back into Digital world data. He then just hovered in the air looking over to Nova and Enix.
Kai began to change from shadow form to his basic dragon form. First thing to come out of the shadows was his head, followed by his body, arm, and finally his tail. His hands still stayed in the shadows. Obviously because he was still holding onto Nova and Enix... and more than likely he wasn't going to let them go anytime soon.
"You called me Master... so i came."
Edge flys down to Kai, "Now... what I have i told you about this master thing? We are partners, because if anything happens to either of us the other is screwed."
Kai nodded toh is master's will. He knew that, but there was something in his programming that was telling him to call him master and he couldn't fight it. No matter how much Edge was going to beat it into his head.
Kai then flew up to the imprisoned Enix and Nova. He smiled and the Blue Crystal that was on his neck started to glow brightly, "Any last requests my brother?"

Nova looked at the crystal and felt his powers beginning to weaken. He looked over at Enix and the crystal seemed to be having the same effect on him. He then gave his cocky brethen a piece of his mind,
"Last requests!!! I don't plan on dying in this place!!! He said as his eyes brighted with an errie gray silver."
Enix on the other hand was losing some much energy he couldn't talk. He dedivolved all the way down to ZashuDramon.

"Dying? My brother I have far more interesting plans that that... we shall become one entity" He said as the Blue Crystal now began to set off an extremely bright glow.
The Crystal then sent out two tendrils of bluish light. One hit Nova and the other hit Enix. They both began to engulf there targets who were both trying to keep from getting captured but was too weak to put up a fight of the prosess. Both Enix and Nova were turned into pure light and sucked into the Crystal. Megiddodramon was then able to fully pull his hands from out the shadows. The crystal then flashed white and Edge was engulfed in a light as well.
"Here comes the power..."

Suddenly a blue blaze of fire lanced out threw the white light. These fires danced radically as they swirled around Edge in his Upgraded look. His clothes had warped from being most red to a ghostly blue, His cats eyes of Gold and Silver took there gaze upon Kai as held out a blue unearthly fireball in his palm, "So Partner? How do I look now?"
Kai Snaked around in the air to get a more detailed look at his master, "You look... Ghostly..."
Edge laughed at his partner digimon and he tapped the Blue Crystal that had absorbed Nova and Enix, "Thats the entire point... to be a ghost..."
Edge took the fireball he was holding and flew towards Kai's head, "Now my partner... Let you be reborn of Saint Elmo's Fire..."
As the blue fireball touched Kai his red flame-like ember on his body began to die out and he lost the glow in his eyes before suddenly being engulfed completely in darkness, "MegiddoDramon Dark Mega Digivolve too....." Suddenly embers of blue fire erupted from the darkness, "ElmosMegiddoDramon!!!" From the darkness appear a ghost oriential dragon. Kai didn't gain anyside threw the digivolution. He did however strink to 2/3 of his normal size. Saint Elmo's fire was now dancing from off his ghostly hide.
Kai then asked Edge in a voice of renewed confident, "Where to now Master?"
Edge smiled, "Lets test out our new Darkness energy... To the Murkwood Bog... And stop calling me master."
"Yes Edge."
The two then suddenly ghosted out of existance...
