The Lopmon cocked her head at Chaos. “Something nearby? Can’t say we've noticed anything.” She looked over the group as many start to converge on the building Halle was looking at. Her ears drooped. This group was acting fairly aggressive, what could possibly be here that would bring them to their village? And could they trust them? She takes another glance. They had a fair amount of firepower with them, nothing they could stand against, and they did seem to have faction members amongst them, so they might be a legitimate reason. Over all it was probably best to cooperate.
The Lopmon nodded to Chaos. “Look all you like,” She walked over to those in front of building. “It’s empty if that helps. Been years since someone last lived there, we’ve considered taking it down, but seems a waste, it’s still in good shape, and you never know when an extra building might come in handy.”
Halle kept her eyes on the hut. “So there’s no one to offend if we head in unannounced?”
The Lopmon shook her head. “None at all.”
“Good.” Halle briskly walked past the others and started to climb up and into the hut.
Solaris quickly ran up to her. “Halle! Stop being so rash, we have no clue what’s in there!” Halle didn’t listen. Solaris looked at the ground. Programmer help him, what was he supposed to do for her?
As Halle entered the hut she found it to be a very simple affair, it was divide length wise into two rooms, the first holding two windows, one on each wall. The room was fairly small so the sunlight light it up quite well. Everything was wood, no paint or wallpaper to be found. The floor appeared to have wood paneling over the logs, but the walls were left bare. Moving forward she found the second room was much of the same, only with an extra window in the back wall. There was one other difference, next to one of the windows, was a door. As Solaris managed to finish scampering up the ladder and entering the hut Halle opened the door.
It did not lead to the outside.
Past the wooden door was a small round room, that looked like it was made of obsidian and bones, along it’s ceiling hung a verity of skulls, and just opposite from were Halle was standing was a hallway.

The seemed odd, to have a perfectly good building stand empty for so long-- didn't the population grow? Didn't people move around? Why did Lopmon construct human-ish houses anyway?
No matter. The Lopmon sounded sincere enough.
"Thanks," Chaos said, and approached the building. Others went forward; she allowed them to continue before moving into the building herself, Suriumon following close at her heels.
She looked around.
How... unremarkable.
Frowning slightly, she continued on, Halle and Ancient going into one of the rooms while she and Suriumon went into the other. No sense crowding all together, that would only--
"You might want to take a look at this..."
Chaos turned to Ancient's voice.
"How's that?"
"I'll go," Suriumon said. "Have fun looking at walls."
He slipped around the dividing wall, but Chaos did not turn. Instead, she watched the wall warily, frowning deeply. His tone of voice had not been particularly optimistic. What--
"Oh, woah," Suriumon said. "That's not right."
Chaos leaned around the wall and stared at what the others had uncovered. For a brief moment, she found herself baring her teeth, flinching slightly.
"Hell of an interior decorator," she mumbled. "I'm disappointed that they didn't write 'property of an evil cult' on the walls, that would've brought the whole room together."
Despite her glibness, though, she felt something churn sickly in the pit of her stomach. She'd seen plenty of weird things, terrible things, much worse than this, but to have this in the middle of a quiet little town...

"I'm actually going to have to agree with you on this one, Chaos," Ancient said, disbelief still apparent on his face, "If someone is going to create THIS, you'd think someone...or something...would lay claim to it."
"It's possible that this could have been used as a shrine to respect the dead, and no one has come for some time," Haruhi said, "But I would have taken a few skulls and placed them in a semi-circle. THIS is beyond what even I would do. Why have so many many remains in what you could easily do in a closet?"
"Maybe someone took it to the extreme?" Wingman said, uneasiness in his tone.
"It's possible," Haruhi said, his eyes taking a careful look around, "The shrine could have been expanded, and this 'hallway' could lead us there, but the shrine idea is a wild one at best. We have no real idea of what's on the other end. One thing is for certain: no one TOUCH these remains. We don't know if there's a program built into them to...add to what's here." ------------------------------- words-184 Posts-2 Karma-4 (2+(1+1))

Suriumon shook his head.
"No, this is... this isn't just a shrine or whatever." He stepped forward, peering deeper into the room, his fur visibly on end. "Skulls," he murmured. "Digimon don't leave behind bones unless our rebirth process is interrupted, and if any of these are human... I think humans dissolve, too, I don't remember very well. Something specifically kept these preserved."
"If this is related to the Carnival," Chaos said, "then that's not surprising. If they can manipulate data on such a fundamental level as to turn people into Digimon, it should be easy enough to interrupt a regeneration."
Suriumon growled. "Which can't be allowed," he said flatly. "They're messing with fundamental laws. I don't care what kind of high-and-mighty cause they think they have, that ain't right."

A Divermon covered in a camouflage outfit, replacing his normal scuba gear, walked into a small room. The room’s walls were a deep red with black caste of bones imbedded into the walls in geometric shapes. Towards the wall furthest from the door were two chairs, one with a similarly grab Divermon. The Divermon entering called out to the other “Brother Grond hear anything about Grandfather Morlock’s big speech?” “Nope, Laterre, but Father Aloysius is supposed to be attending in person.” Laterre chuckled. “They should sell tickets just to see his reaction. Those two butt heads more then angry MegaKabuterimons!” Grond shock his head. “You really should take this stuff more seriously.” Laterre waved him off. “Yeah, yeah I know. Going to determine how we handled The War. Let the higher ups handled that stuff. I got enough without considering nonlinear deployment patterns or whatever highbrow stuff they like to ramble about.” Laterre sat down and looked over to one of the patterns on the walls. “Hey the spirits are picking up some new comers.” The other Divermon turned to look at the same wall. “So what have we got on them.” “Very top surface scan, basic relationship equation. Looks like humans and Digimon. We do have one weird one. Equation isn’t that different though must be one of those nonhuman organics that pop up from time to time.” Laterre moved over to another wall were the bones were forming a rectangle. “Sprites are showing them to us. Yeah fairly ordinary… huh that’s funny.” He looked over to the wall with the equations and then back to the ad-hoc view screen. “Ehe one of the spirits must be feeling a bit off today.” Grond leaned towards Laterre. “What do you mean?” Laterre, pointed to a green humiond cat in the image. “They’re saying our feline has the human relationship equation. Doesn't matter. Better get ready for incoming.” “Right.” * * * * * Halle entered the strange room the skulls’ teeth start to chatter. Her head jerked up as the noise started. Oh that’s a lovely touch. These guys must really love their theatrics. “Some welcoming committee.” Solaris digivoled and slipped in front of Halle, his muscles tensing and his gaze locked on the hallway. “I know an alarm when I hear one, the welcoming committee has got to be on its way.” As the skulls stopped chattering, a new sound replaced it, a single quick thump. The houses man door had closed. * * * * * Grond smiled at the monitor. “Into the pallor flies.”

Halle moved. Suriumon flinched slightly and took a step forward.
"Wait, it might--"
--be a trap, he finished mentally, but the only response was the rattling of bones. His ears flicked back, and he took a step forward. Solaris was right; that was an alarm.
"Hell," Suriumon hissed. "What's...?"
Chaos turned at the noise behind them. "What's that?"
Looking back, she saw what 'that' was; the door had shut. She remembered that nobody had bothered to close it, or at least she was pretty sure of that. It might have been the breeze, of course, but...
Hah, yeah right.
She turned and headed to the door to check.
"Gonna bet we're locked in," she yelled. "That would be just swell."
At least it would be a good indicator that they were in the right place, although she wasn't much interested in being in the right place for a trap to be sprung.

(You said man door, while was probably suppose to be main door, so you were refering to the front door, right?)
Ancient said nothing as as the teeth chattered and the door closed. It would have been better to throw something then actually use themselves.
Well, it was a little late for that now. Halle had set the thing off and now they were stuck here. Chances were that there was something now protecting the door and windows, like a firewall, so escape was almost impossible. Well, at lease they knew they were in the right place.
"Well, I guess it's either we walk into the lion's den, or we retreat back into the house and hold our ground there. Either way, I think these guys may have us." ----------------------- words-108 Posts-3 Karma-6 (4+(1+1))

Ancient knew that thew were in some sort of trouble when the eight Blossomon appeared. As they announced their intended attack, Haruhi's mind instantly told him what the attack was capable of.
And that was not a good thing.
Ancient knew it would be impossible for him to grab his digivice, get a card out, and swipe it before the vines got to them...so...plan B. The canine tamer unsheathed the 'Ancient Defender' and, before anyone knew it, a calming presance took hold of the battlefield.
The sanctuary's arrival caused both Haruhi and Rachel to breath a sigh of relief, but Josh warp digivolved to WarGreymon as a precaution. Ancient, meanwhile, unclipped his digivice and looked at the Blossomon down the hall.
"Alright, I can understand that all of you hate us, but let's try and solve this reasonably. Everyone here knows that the Digital World called all of the tamers here to this island for a reason. As to what that is, your guess is as good as ours, but would the Digital World call upon something that it really didn't need? Think about that for a second."
Biomerge if thing crash? Haruhi asked.
Not a bad idea. ------------------------- words-200 Posts-4 Karma-9 (6+(1+2))

Enix and Frost had entered the Abandon shack along with everyone else. True, at first glance that everything appeared to be normal. A fairly typical abandoned shake, maybe they had been lead on a wild goose chase after all.
That was until the others had continued to explore, and stumbled upon a rather disturbing room. Frost followed quicker than Enix did this time, and as he saw the room froze still an uncomfortable crapping feeling welling up in his chest. That fact that someone would decorate a room with this was... unnerving. What was wrong with These Carnival Digimon?
Enix entered the room, but didn't flinch at the sight of skull and bone. If anything it made him more angry than what he already was. These Rouge Digimon complained about Humans yet... what they was doing against the natural laws of the world seem to border on Viral abilities.
All because they hated humans.
Enix growled.
A few moments later there was a loud serious of clicking noises, he didn't turn around. He already knew what had happened. He wasn't surprised to hear that they had been locked in, "Looks like we feel for a trap."
Frost immediately turned to Enix, who was now looking in directions facing something, "They are coming, get ready."
"Who's coming!?" Asked Frost frantically.
One hatch then opened a group of Blossomon entering the room quickly. Enix then roared, "Them!" He immediately assumed a guarding pose as they attacked, "RiseSuukoudramon Digivolve too..."
A barrier of Jet Black energy quickly formed around Enix, stopping the Skurikens of energy that flew towards him. They stuck in the barrier however for a few moments. But they dispersed as a bolt of Black energy began to violently radiate from the Digivolution field. There was then a sudden roar that caused the barrier to crack.
Before violently shattering into Digital particles, "ApoclaSuukoudramon!" Roared Enix in his Ultimate form. He was extremely pissed, and this was the perfect chance for him to vent some of his energy.
Frost then quickly followed in his own Digivolution, "SnowVeemon Digivolve tooooo." A large Glacier of Blue formed around the rookie as he began to float in the air, The Glacier then quickly became cloudy, and soon it was impossible to see what was inside it.
Until it cracked and shattered, leaving Digi Particles to fall like snow.
"AeroVeedramon!" Roared Frost, also appearing in his Ultimate form, These Digimon will not know what hit them after he and Enix was done with them.

"And somehow I'm not remotely surprised," Suriumon growled. But that was all he did; he didn't bother digivolving, and instead immediately scooted backwards out of the room as several of those around him suddenly erupted into light and emerged in their digivolved forms-- stronger, faster, more powerful--
Significantly larger.
It was getting cramped in there, and he knew that, while they needed firepower to go against the Blossomon, there was no sense cramming them all together and becoming sitting targets, immobilized by their own size. He hated to think it, but he'd have to get the girl back here; she was too small and wiry when she digivolved. It would be good for a fight in close quarters.
But before he could do so, a strange, calm coolness suddenly washed over the area. He recognized it immediately as a Sanctuary effect and looked around to see where it had come from. Did it matter? No. It was somebody on their side and that was all he needed to know. The Carnival didn't seem like the kind of group that would call a truce for any reason.
"Well," he said brightly. "Guess that means we're in the right place, doesn't it?" He regarded the Blossomon from where he was standing behind the others, peering below and around legs to get a better view. "Nice dresses."
"Now's not the time to be taunting flowers," Chaos said suddenly.
She picked her way around to the side of the group and tried to find a means of getting through the door. There were none. Oh well.
"Cliche as I feel my canine compatriot is--"
"I'm complimenting their fashion sense," Suriumon scoffed.
"I mean Ancient," she said sharply, and Suriumon couldn't help but smirk before stepping slightly back. "Anyway, he does have a legitimate question. And since we won't be able to beat each other's faces in for the moment, are you lot willing to have a little chat, or shall we stand here menacing each other for a while?"
