Reset?

I'm not usually one to actually listen to Vega, as you're all aware, but we did have a conversation a little while ago and he brought it up again when I finally dumped the document I've been hanging on to into Homecoming.

I really do want to play with the possibilities of the Real World, but due to various reasons stemming from the ridiculously open-ended nature of it -- virtually no oganization, that is to say -- nobody really seems to know quite what to do with it.

Also, half of the players are AWOL and the other half probably don't have much in mind for how things carry on.

So, I was kicking around the idea of doing a reset for it, clearing things out, and having it... built a little differently. I do have something vaguely resembling a plan (as opposed to how it's been thus far), but I figured I'd put the suggestion out there.

Well I am currently in Great Britain stuck with no idea of how to do things with Ray and Xander. So in order to pick activity up i'm up for the idea of revamping things...

In all fairness to 'Real World', an enormous contributing factor is inactivity. I mean, let's look at the current teams here; Chaos, Aurora, and Adrian. On the other side of which we have Nova, Xander, and Ray, only one of whom is known for actually being online.

I mean, a reset would be more convenient, I guess, even if the current version is still salvageable (I think?).

If I may propose, however; Real World strikes me as the kind of thing that would really be better as an Event. The idea, from this point, comes to this; I think we should close up the one gaping, yawning chasm of time-consumption we have before opening a new one.

That's kind of a rambling post, isn't it? Basically, I'm saying we maybe think about finishing AntiTamers before plunging into Real World? Otherwise everyone's running super events and nothing gets done.

I never intended for Real World to be an event; it was something, like Digital World, that's supposed to run in the background. An Event has a definite purpose; kill the enemies, get the shinies, climb the tower. Real World is and Digital World both are kind of sagas in the background. They just have a bit of a twist that sets them apart from the other roleplays.
