As the sun rose, Ancient smiled. This day may mark the day that they would go their seperate ways, but they were all bound to cross paths eventually.
He attention was broken, however, when Nova asked where everyone was going. In all honesty, he really didn't have an answer to that one.
"I'm probably just going to wander around the island for a while and see what turns up. Who knows...maybe something else will come up that will call all of us back together."
"I doubt something THAT big will show up," Haruhi said as he looked out as the bay, "Doomdramon was a threat to the entire Digital World. Threats like that fairly rare, and the only one that pops onto my head that would fit into that area would be Kikota of the Empire...and he hasn't made a move in a while. More then likely, everyone here will probably run into a situation that will threaten a certain spot on the island and be able to take care of it themselves."
"Hey, we've all learned by now that fairly small ordeals can explode into something fairly large in no time. I mean, take a look at this whole ordeal. This all started when a few of us ran into Daniel, and then, piece by piece, this whole thing fell into place. Who knows what else can turn into that."
Upon that note, Ancient turned his attention to Daniel.
"Hey, just remember: If you need any help at all, don't be afraid to call any of us. After all, that's what friend do...they're there for each other."
And, as soon as Ancient finished that sentence, Simon was gone. Feeling it was his time as well, the brown fox gave a two-finger salute to everyone else present.
"I guess I'll see you guys whenever."
And, with that, Ancient turned and proceeded towards Mons Omega with his team right behind him. ---------------------------- words-323 posts-6 karma-34 (30+(1+3))

"Chaos? A slacker?" Said Nova with a laugh as he turned to her, "Who would of knew?" He said as a grin appeared on his face. He then looked back to Simon as Agare landed, he nodded, waved and said his goodbyes. Looks like they had similar ideas, back to headquarters to rest. He just hoped he didn't get pulled into any serious work for the next few weeks, between him and Aster. Ray really didn't really have to many go to guys.
Nova then turned to Ancient who said something about wandering the Island some more. Haruhi mentioned something along the eyes of them having to watch the Overlord, but according to the Guardian Data Base Kikota didn't have the man power to launch an considerable threat to the island, at least not anything outside the Bog, could never underestimate him though. He then gave his proper goodbyes to Ancient as well as they moved off towards Mons Omega.
The Daniel said his goodbyes, although he did not say much. The gratitude he felt for them helping him could be easily sensed. He was no longer cursed, he could walk around the Island with his diginity in place as a choosen Tamer. No more being looked down on for being infected. But then he was off as well, walking off to Drakengard.
However with that being said he felt bad for Chaos, for as long as he knew her she had been infected with a Virus as well, but there seemed to be no cure for her. She had did a lot of searching for help as well, and she didn't have no true partners as well. Just an Angry Wolf, but all things considered. Angry Wolf was very dependable.
He turned to her, "Well This seems to be goodbye. Stay safe." Nova then pulled his digivice from the clip and spoke, "Crystal Digimental up." There was a flash of light as the Digimental flew out from the Digivice and hit Enix in the chest, instantly warping him into his Crystal Armour form.
"At least give me a little warming next time." He said lightly as he spread his wings. Nova then grabbed Frost and walked over to Enix before jumping on his back, "Be well til next time." Enix then rose then to the air before taking off, flying off to the top of Mons Omega. If they were quick they could make the next jump up to the Island.

And then he turned into a cyborg and fought aliens.

Chaos looked at Nova sideways. "Slacker...?" she asked.
"If you mean we won't be going back to the manor to help," Suriumon said, "we've got something significantly more important to attend to." He shot Chaos a nasty glance, but she was not looking down at him and the glare was wasted. Chaos chuckled and looked over to Ancient's group.
"You don't need to worry about Kikota," she said. "He doesn't have sufficient forces to take over the island, and he's not stupid enough to make a move without knowing that he'll win."
There was a little banter; she paid only a bit of attention to it as the wolf sidled next to her and sat down. And then the murmuring changed to goodbyes, farewells.
"Take care," she said.
"Don't die," Suriumon added. "And if you do, try and make it quick and painless."
And then, one by one, the groups took off. Simon disappeared into the sky, off to the manor; Ancient walked west, heading toward the mountains; Daniel north-west, toward Drakengard; and finally Nova, he and his team also taking to the skies and shooting toward the central peak of the mountains, to the circulating island visible as a heavy shadow in the distance.
Chaos watched them leave, but herself had yet to move. Suriumon stood by as well as they dispersed, silent until they were all gone out range of his sight. Chaos smiled faintly.
"Good for him," she said finally.
"What's that?"
"Good for him. Bosch. Daniel. Y'know, back t' normal." She shrugged. "Good for him."
"Mm." The wolf was silent or a few seconds, then looked over to Chaos again. "I can tell you're ecstatic."
"I don't need to be ecstatic to know when something good happens," she said. "We had this talk last night, if I recall."
"Suppose we did."
Silence.
"I need to go to the temple," she said.
"You've needed to go to the temple for a week," he said.
"I know," Chaos muttered. "Wonder if it makes a difference?"
"Doesn't matter, does it?"
"Guess not."
She pulled out her digivice and scrolled up the map, selected the temple, and looked at the wolf.
"I'm ready," he said, before Chaos could finish asking. "You best be, too."
She shrugged, hit the button, and they vanished as well.
