What.
There are three houses? Yes. There are three houses. (I know there are four suits, but I don't like clubs. They are like black upside-down cauliflower. ...I am not fond. The house names are subject to change at a later date anyway.)
Which house is best? None! Though you are meant to think that the house you are sorted into is the best. ;) Team spirit. You're placed according to style, not skill. Each house has particular elements in common, so members are grouped based on this.
Can I role play with members from other houses? Of course you can! You can role play with whoever you want.
What about house points? Ahhh, ask me later.
I think I was sorted into the wrong house. If it's bothering you so much, PM a member of staff about it.
Hearts. This is where writers relying on internal monologue and descriptive prose are placed. Thoughtful, structured and with a high degree of attention to detail. The focus is on what their character is feeling rather than what their character is doing or saying.
Diamonds. Hard, fast-paced and with simpler structure is a key element in Diamonds' writing. They may use fragments, italicized thought and speech to convey their character's personality. Imaginative, observant and strongly stylized writers.
Spades. Setting is well-established, as is a character's physical appearance. Aesthetics are used symbolically rather than superficially. The focus within their writing is on the surroundings and mainly driven by plot, action and spontaneity.
