So the idea here is that Lucifer, who is of course the lord of the abyss, has decided to host a bit of a contest, partially out of boredom and partially because he has seen a sharp increase in the number of sinners living in San Francisco, and the slaughter of sinners is universally okay for him. Thus it has fallen to nine of the most powerful devils to hunt them, slay them, and bring their souls into hell. There are seven for each demon, each primarily guilty of one the deadly sins, and the first to collect their souls and return to Hell will be crowned the victor.
But no demon can sit idly by and let another beat them in any sort of competition. So as the hunt progresses and each devil lays his pride more and more on the line, the hunt slowly turns from the sinners to the other combatants, and collecting the souls assigned to each becomes a second priority to killing the others.
((The gist here is that nine demons start killing off these people, but wind up not only killing other, innocent people, but destroying the city in an attempt to slaughter each other.))

I know this isn't profoundly thought out, so I'd like some help developing it further. As well as playing one of the devils, if you'd like, you could play one of the humans being hunted. Any demons not claimed will simply be added as story elements.
As an extra note, if you come up with a plot for your demon, please let me know and I'll weave this whole thing into a beautiful little roleplay. Tossing in a bit of plot for your character would be most appreciated.
