Just an Island Girl, A Jade Application

Description: I believe Jade to be quite giggly and childish and frankly nice. When she gets to know someone better shes a bit more open about her fears and dislikes. Shes very smart and can be cold to others at times. Jade enjoys nature but not the sun, she like to venture at night and watch the stars. Shes friends with everyone but has a bit of a trust issue and doesn't tell everyone everything. One reason is because she spares peoples feelings and doesn't want her friends to worry. Second is because she is sometimes embarrassed over things that she thinks are odd, but honestly aren't.

She spends a lot of her time outside at night. She Maps the stars on her own personal map. Also making new funny shapes and naming them. As for her relationships with friends, She is a teen with crushes, Mostly on Dave Strider, and mixed feelings for rose. She is close to john and can talk to him about almost anything. With Dave she has trouble talking about herself and tries to focus on him as much as possible. With Rose she talks more about her and Rose's activities mutually the same amount. One of her strengths is being able to see beauty in everything, no matter it a rock or a person. A weakness is she takes rejection quite hard and very personal. Being alone on an island for her childhood made her social skills and boundaries quite blurred.

Head Canon: Shes around 5'5" ish and is quite average, shes pale (considering she doesn't like the sun), also having long hair in a braid quite often. She is not self conscious and likes her body, but doesn't consider herself 'Pretty'.


About me: My name is Jade Harley (yes actually no lie) and I'm 19, i live in FL, ummm I will RP almost anything. Jade was the reason I got into homestuck so I love her, I RP her pretty much everywhere, I voice act her. I cosplay all of her outfits. SOOO I have her personality pretty down. ****IDEAS FOR AN RP: I always wanted to do a sleep over with rose where she goes outside and shows rose all the cool things that come out at night.



Prompt: What is the thing that has frightened you most? Do you think there is anything out there that's scarier than that? What do you think that would be?

Jade sat in her room, the tower was so high up. It was storming outside on her small island. Thunder cracked as bright light filled the sky for a split second, Jade jumped tears streaming down her face. She felt as if the storm would consume her and her wonderful island whole. As rain pored down the sea around her raged and Jade rocked back and forth trying to calm herself. Her worst fear was of these storms, She had no one to hold her, no one to comfort her.

The rain continued to fall as the sea grew higher and more fierce, she could not think of anything more frightening than this. Jade's internet was down so she was unable to seek comfort from her beloved friends. Bec was no where to be found so she stayed there, in that corner until her tears were dry and the sun had risen. Jade stood and said quite simply "My greatest fear is being swallowed by the sea" as she opened her lunch top to pester rose, acting as if nothing had happened.
