Welcome to AS WE{FALL, an original modern fantasy RPG. We sport an interactive plot that is as flexible and diverse as the characters that take part in it. Though we have some direction and aim for it, every character can literally change the entire game. Before you consider joining, please be aware that this forum uses the progressive format. Glance around and read through the forum of rules to better understand it.
The relationship between Good and Evil is unique, so to fully grasp it make sure that you read all of the available plot information. If you're interested in being a good character, you may be interested in some of our canons. These characters are typically part of a family that, in one way or another, will play a part in the plot. However, original characters have the same potential, so don't feel pressured!

AS WE{FALL
the scream, the cry and the kiss The world we live in has never been as simple as we assume it is. It’s a place filled with magickal creatures that defend and destroy. Without them we’re alone but with them we’re subject to devastation. They’ve saved us from the end but have brought it closer time and time again. It’s a bitter sweet relationship that humanity has dealt with since the conception of the first humans. Now we need them more than ever; the darkness we’ve always feared is becoming more and more real as the world around us begins to deteriorate.
When time in this plane was started, two “pools” of magick were created. The Catalyst and the Cataclysm. These magickal pools are the source of Good Magick and Evil. While the lines blur sometimes, no one can deny the darkness of the Cataclysm and the beauty of the Catalyst. Throughout our time here, both sides have had a select group of people with a direct connection to these impressive magickal forces. The Abyssians are three demons who exist at any given moment in time. They are connected to the Cataclysm which they lovingly call the Abyss. The Royal Families of each race held sway over the Catalyst, but only one from each race could hold the connection. Overtime, these two groups battled and withered away their control and connections to these immense pools of power. Despite Good’s greatest efforts, Abyssians are hard to destroy and Good is quite easy to crush. Of all the races, only Three remain Royal. Witches (and gypsies who look to this Royal for guidance), Vampires and Weres. Sadly, the previous Queen and Kings of those races, the ones who held the connection, were murdered and their children, who they hardly knew, were given the connection with no real knowledge on how to use it.
Meanwhile, darkness has been working on something great. While Evil has always been the more organized side of things, have started putting in overtime hours toward the destruction of the Good’s hold over the Mortal Plane. Their exact plans are sketchy, but they’ve been employing a number of rather powerful demonic factions. They’ve set up footholds in the Mortal Plane and are more than ready to assimilate our world into their own. The only thing that stands between them and complete control are those of light with magickal abilities.
The Elementals, a group of extremely powerful Nymphs, have been disappearing, leaving the Nymphs without lead from their normal guides (their Royal was always an Elemental). With everyone waiting to be called to be an Elemental, the Nymph race is in turmoil. Without the Elementals, the world itself is becoming weaker. Normally the next Elemental is called right away, but for some reason the calling process has become weaker and it’s already been over a year since the first Elemental was killed.
With all of this, magickal events not driven by Good or Evil are popping up all over the world and no one knows what to do anymore. Good is having a hard time covering it up and Evil finds it to be a hindrance and a helping hand. The world is breaking and there’s so little time left. We need to take a stand and make a choice. Will we fight with Evil and become a great power, or defend the rights of Good? We need to choose now, because time is running out and there isn’t much left for us to do. Perhaps we can change the world as we fall.
