sub-plot number;; one. title;; &too afraid to _s p e a k; his heart characters involved;;LUPIN, remus ;; 7th year VANCE, emmeline ;; 6th year CARROW, amycus ;; 7th year PETTIGREW, peter ;; 7th year plot;; Her name was Emmeline Vance, a Ravenclaw. Not only was she incredibly beautiful but also had brains to back her up. She was incredibly smart and an outgoing social butterfly. She always had a smile upon her face, making heads turn where ever she went. The girl had no problem making friends and was the one everyone went to when they needed advice. She was basically all he ever wanted.
He had been watching her for some time now, almost two years to be exact. He would occasionally talk to her, but the conversation on his end would always end up as a bunch of blubbering nonsense. The young man simply could not bring himself to tell her that he liked her, let alone ask her out. Poor Remus. Yes, it was Remus Lupin himself that was head over heels for a girl. It really was no surprise it would be a girl like Emmeline, seeing as the two were very much alike. Whenever they did have conversations that didn't make Remus all stuttery and mushy, they were actually quite intellectually stimulating. The two could talk for hours and hours about everything and nothing. Well, they could right up until Remus found himself falling for her and couldn't be in her presence for very long, always chickening out.
He did come very close to telling her his feelings on several occasions, but he would always trail off and comment on the weather. Emmeline was a smart girl and found it easy to tell that Remus might have liked her. It didn't take a total genius, though, to tell when a guy was acting weird around a girl. She would always get excited when she would see him and talk to him, but he would never make the first move. This just discouraged her from making the first move herself.
This little tango of hidden affections went on for several months now. But no one really knew about Remus's feelings, except for Peter Pettigrew. Peter was Remus's best friend, possibly even closer than James and Sirius. The four were inseparable, but there was always this small divide between them. James and Sirius always teamed up to pull their lavish pranks while Peter and Remus would stay back and entertain themselves in a more non-destructive manner. Remus didn't mind this. He liked having Peter around, even though he was a bit on the odd side and unusually quiet all the time. It was nice to have someone like Peter as a best friend; it was refreshing after having to listen to James and Sirius's shouting about girls and Dungbombs all way. Anyway, Remus had decided to spill everything to his best friend, Peter, one day while the two were having a quiet afternoon by themselves. He told him all about Emmeline and his intense feelings for her. He knew Peter wouldn't laugh at him and would keep a secret. The reason he refused to tell James and Sirius was because the two would end up telling him bad relationship advice that would end up having Remus single for the rest of his life.
Little did Remus know as he was spilling his heart out to his best friend, someone happened to have wandered by their quiet, desolate location and overheard the entire thing. Who was that person you may ask? It was none other than Amycus Carrow, Remus's biggest rival. The two had always butted heads in everything from school work to girls. It was Amycus's mission in life to ruin Remus's. Hearing this little conversation about Emmeline made a light bulb go off in that little evil head of his.
A little while later after telling Peter (and unknowingly Amycus) about Emmeline, Remus was still trying to work up the courage to tell her how he felt. Peter would always utter words of encouragement every time they would spot Emmeline, urging Remus to finally go and tell her. And one day, a sudden jolt of courage led Remus right up to Emmeline, finally ready to tell her. Just as he was about to tell her, out of nowhere Amycus appeared and chatted her up easily. Remus retreated, but not before he heard Amycus asking Emmeline out, and her accepting.
Now Emmeline did have some of the same feelings for Remus that he had for her, but the girl was sick of waiting for him to ask her out. Amycus and Remus were very much alike in many ways, both intelligent and not to mention good-looking. She figured she could settle for Amycus who seemed more outspoken than Remus. But Emmeline was wrong to have chosen Amycus, for he was Slytherin that didn't care for anyone but himself. He did not have the compassion and kindness that Remus did. It was a bit too late when Emmeline would find this out.
Over the next few weeks, Remus had to put up with the sight of those two constantly together. Amycus would purposely parade Emmeline around in front of Remus. But, Amycus was not treating her very well. At all. When he would show her off in front of Remus, he would shower her with compliments and affection. When away from Remus's vicinity, he would treat her terribly. He honestly did not want her as a girlfriend and had only asked her out just to tick Remus off, and it was working very well. He hated when she was around, especially when he was with his friends, and would often throw snide remarks and sarcastic comments at her.
One day when Amycus was having his usual afternoon of insulting Emmeline in front of his friends, Remus happened to be walking by and heard it all. He was not able to take it anymore and decided to finally take action. He had none of his friends around to hold him back as he approached Amycus angrily. Without many words exchanged, Remus began throwing punches at the Slytherin. A full moon was approaching in a few days and his wolfish nature gave him an advantage in the brawl, easily winning over. In the distance of the hallway came a shrill scream that said, "TEACHER ALERT!" But before Remus could run away, it was too late...the teacher had already gotten there. She demanded to know who started the fight. Emmeline knew that Remus would get in much more trouble than she if he confessed, so she blurted out that it was her that did it. She went into a lavish explanation about how Amycus had gotten her mad and she threw spells at him and that was when Remus showed up to pull her away.
Emmeline was suspended from Hogwarts for a week. Instead of being sent home for that week, the headmaster decided to have her stay in the Inn at Hogsmeade. The very week she was suspended for was when Hogwarts was having a winter ball for the upper years. Emmeline had been looking forward to it but now could not go. Remus felt incredibly terrible about her getting suspended and continuously tried to fess up but the headmaster would not hear him. So the night of the dance, Remus decided not to go. Instead he snuck out of the school and headed for Hogsmeade where he visited Emmeline.
Now, will Remus finally tell Emmeline about his feelings for her? Or will he just make up something about the weather again? Will Amycus decide to get back at Remus? Would he go too far with his revenge? cheat sheet:: - Remus likes Emmeline. A lot. But won't say anything. - Remus hides his feelings from everyone. - Remus tells Peter about Emmeline. - Amycus overhears Remus's confession. - Amycus asks out Emmeline and begins dating her. - Remus gets very angry but still won't say anything to Emmeline. - Amycus treats Emmeline badly. - Remus attacks Amycus when he overhears him insulting her. - Emmeline takes the punishment for Remus and gets suspended. - Remus skips the winter ball to go visit Emmeline.

sub-plot number;; two. title;; s e v e n_ can play that game; characters involved;;ABERCROMBIE, elnora ;; 7th year BLACK, sirius ;; 7th year EVANS, lily ;; 7th year LESTRANGE, rabastan ;; 7th year LOVEGOOD, valya ;; 7th year MALFOY, vincent ;; 7th year POTTER, james ;; 7th year CARROW, amycus;; 7th year BLACK, narcissa;; 6th year plot;;Everyone who's anyone knows about James Potter's tiny, little crush on Miss Lily Evans, correct? That being said, given that James really is a -for the lack of better terms- nitwit when it comes to the opposite gender, he happened to mess up during one of his. . .attempts, resulting in a rather infuriated red head. Needless to say, Lily stopped talking to James to the point of not even acknowledging his presence. Being the baboon he is, James decided to take yet another 'brilliant' idea from his best mate, Sirius Black. Now, we all know just what kind of guy that Black is and guessing what his suggestion was isn't too hard, right? For any too slow to figure it out, Misturr Black told his friend to simply make Evans jealous. How? Why by chatting it up -and possibly more- with another girl. It took a while to decide just who to flirt with but the perfect candidate came through after a while. . .
Elnora Abercrombie: seventh year, prefect, brilliant, a flirt, and definitely way easy on the eyes.
Now, really, we can't have a Marauder pursuing someone without their counterpart knowing of it, right? Exactly. It didn't take long for Vincent Malfoy, a seventh year Slytherin and main rival of James Potter, inevitably heard of the Potter kid's new interest in Elnora Abercrombie. Needless to say, that caused a spark in Vinny's attention. Hey. She was a pure-blood, gorgeous, and Potter supposedly wanted her. Why wouldn't Vincent Malfoy flirt with the girl? As most would guess, neither James nor Vincent were willing to back down this little. . .competition. Things does get quite heated up when it seems to be that one of the two were almost always around Elnora, not that the girl seemed to mind.
With James' time so occupied chasing after the Ravenclaw, it really was no surprise that a certain red head did find herself missing the once constant presence of a certain Gryffindor chaser. Well, maybe she did catch a gist of Potter's newest conquest and didn't exactly like the thought of him pining for another girl's attention. Of course, to solve that little problem, Lily did know what she felt like she should do: talk to James Potter again. Given that turn of events, the very day that Lily Evans said "Hi, Potter", James stopped with the whole 'Operation Make Evans Jealous'. Why waste his time trying to get with Elnora Abercrombie when he could keep trying to get with Evans, right?
Most would think that once James backed off his advances on Elnora, so would Vincent Malfoy. Well, everyone was in for quite a surprise when it simply wasn't the case. It was obvious that James Potter was back to pursuing Lily Evans and had no care for Elnora Abercrombie's affections yet the seventh year Slytherin continued with his. . .attempts at flirting. Unfortunately, during the whole ordeal, Elnora had been quite suspicious of his motives. Why would Vincent Malfoy, Prince of Slytherin after Lucius Malfoy, bother with her? That question certainly left quite a few people baffled. But hey. Elnora is of the Ravenclaw house which certainly means she's got quite a bit of brains inside that pretty head of hers, which was exactly the reason she's decided to ignore any of Malfoy's almost desperate attempts to get her attention.
It seemed that Mister Vincent has become quite enamored with the girl. It was bothering him that she wouldn't give him the time of day no matter what he did. Lucky for him, Miss Narcissa Black happens to be a good friend of Elnora's, despite the house difference. Narcissa was already quite close with the Malfoy family, due to her future engagement with Vincent's older brother, Lucius. Feeling a bit gracious, she decided to help poor Vincent out and began to talk to Elnora for him, trying to work her match-making skills on the two. Thanks to her spectacular speaking skills, Narcissa manages to get Ellie more interested in Vincent, convincing her that he was not out to just trick her and that he really did like her. Things start turning up for the Slytherin Prince as Elnora begins to talk to him, changing her attitude drastically towards him. In the process, Vincent manages to find out from Narcissa then later from Elnora herself that the only reason why she would not give into him was due to her being frightened of being hurt.
In the meantime, another one of Vincent's comrades, Amycus Carrow, has just come out of his bitter relationship with Emmeline Vance. Not in the best of moods, he starts to become resentful of Vincent and his always trying to get the girl he wants. Mix that and a bit of boredom, and there you have Mister Amycus's newest scheme. Amycus begins to flirt with Elnora as Vincent is trying to get her to be his. Amycus and Elnora had quite a bit in common, making Ellie start to turn her attention on the clever Slytherin and away from Vincent. Talk about trouble, especially since Vincent and Amycus are quite good friends.
Let's not forget about Misturr Sirius Black, the brain behind the whole operation.
See, unpredicted and unplanned, the attention of the Gryffindor boy was snagged by none other than Miss Elnora Abercrombie's friend, Valya Lovegood. With his best mate continuously flirting with Elnora, it was inevitable that Sirius started paying attention to the girl's friend. Why not? He was the guy that every girl wanted; Valya was the girl that would barely spare any guy a second glance. Well, she would, but it was a rare time that she actually had any interest in a guy more than friendship. Now that was certainly incentive enough for Misturr Sirius Black to try his hand at getting a date with the girl. . .or maybe just a quick snog.
. . .It's too bad Rabastan Lestrange, infamous for a relationship fling record as bad as Sirius Black, wasn't about to sit this one out. No way, no how. Malfoy was busy trying to snag Elnora's attention and while Rabastan & Vincent weren't exactly the best mates James & Sirius were, the two hung around each other quite often. Needless to say, Rabbie got bored sitting around and waiting for Vinny attempt to make his moves on Elnora. That left him to entertain himself while around the others. Of course, with Vincent making things harder for Potter, it was only natural that Lestrange would hinder Black the only way he knew how: flirt with Valya Lovegood too.
That, undoubtedly, caused a very ticked off puppy. First, his best mate was too caught up trying to beat Malfoy to help him out with his girl problem. Second, Rabastan Lestrange was honestly starting to get on his last nerves. Third, Valya Lovegood refused to give him the time of day. Really. Desperate times called for desperate measures, right? Right. That was the exact reasoning that went through Sirius' head when he finally decided the best way to get Miss Lovegood's attention was through a prank or to annoy her. Hey. It seemed to be working for his best mate, why couldn't it work for him?
Without a second thought, the seventh year began his planning for such a magnificent prank. This had to be big. Something that would definitely get the girl's attention. After a mindless talk with his best mate, of course, Sirius did come up with a brilliant plan. The very next morning, he snuck into the laundry room and managed to talk one of the house elves into doing a really, really big favor for him. No doubt that the house elf did follow through. Ah. . .that wasn't the big thing, though. No. The big prank happened at dinner that night. A little help from Elnora and he was sure that Valya would be there instead of possibly hiding out in the library to avoid him like she'd been doing. . .sort of.
Once he was sure both blonds, mainly Val, was in the Great Hall in he came. Oh, and it was certainly quite a sight that had the whole student body inside the Great Hall staring. There was Sirius Black standing in the center of the Ravenclaw table. . .in girl's robes. Well, not just any girl's robes. . .in Valya Lovegood's robes. Arrogant and cocky, the next words were said while a finger was pointed straight at Valya Lovegood.
"I'M IN YOUR SKIRT. WHUTTNOW." [This phrase can be edited to seem more in character. xD]
&&so. . . Will Lily Evans finally say 'yes' to James Potter? Will Elnora Abercrombie give Vincent Malfoy even a second glance? Did Vinny actually develop feelings for the Ravenclaw girl? Will Vincent Malfoy manage to snag Elnora Abercrombie? Will Narcissa's match-making plan work or not? And what in the world is Amycus Carrow doing, hitting on Elnora? Will Rabastan continue trying to get Valya's attention to piss Sirius off? Did Sirius' little 'prank' actually make Valya give him the time of day he thinks he deserves?
Note:* Once we get everyone needed for this plot, we can all decide where to start off at. Either from the beginning, when Lily gets mad at James & James asks Sirius for help. Maybe from when Lily starts getting. . .jealous. Or. . .more towards the end? cheat sheet::- James is trying to get Lily's attention but makes her mad at him. - Lily is ignoring James for being his usual buffoon self. - James decides to try to make Lily jealous by flirting with Elnora. - Vincent decides to start flirting with Elnora and taking her away from James' plan just to tick him off. - Lily is honestly getting jealous of the whole James/Elnora situation and starts talking to James again. - James decides it's not worth it to fight over Elnora with Vince since he doesn't really like her as much as he does Lily. - James goes back to trying to get Lily to go out with him. - Elnora is suspicious of Vince's motives and refuses to give him her time. - Vince is desperately trying to talk to Elnora. - Narcissa begins matchmaking between Vince & Ellie. - Just as Elnora starts to maybe, sort of like Vincent, Amycus starts flirting with her. - Sirius in the meantime has his eye on Valya. -Sirius starts really flirting with Val, even more than before. - Rabastan decides to go ruin his "game" (xD) by flirting with Valya because that's the whole point of the Vershworer. - Sirius is getting very mad and is trying to get Valya's attention even more now. - He goes far enough to actually pull a stupid prank that definitely pissed of Valya.

sub-plot number;; three. title;; ___&who A R E you .again characters involved;;RENAUD, chamois;; seventh year RENAUD, marius;; seventh year ROSiER, evan;; sixth year SAVAGE, aimeé;; sixth year SERGEANT, marianne;; sixth year SiNCLAiR, hayden;; seventh year plot;;Evan Draven Rosier, a sixth year soon to join the ranks of the infamous Death Eaters.
Aimeé Reine Savage, a sixth year who finds too much amusement in secrets.
A Slytherin & a Hufflepuff, surely we all know how those students just never quite mixed. Hufflepuffs, supposedly much too kind and annoying humble, and Slytherins, apparently an arrogant, exclusive bunch that hates anything not pure. However, this one particular friendship wasn't one that just sprouted overnight. Oh, no. Evan Rosier and Aimeé Savage had met each other on the Hogwarts Express, right before the start of their first year and before they were sorted into their respective houses. During the first few weeks after the sorting, the two seemed fine as friends but it didn't take long for the 'house rivalries' to kick in and apparently break apart the friendship. Of course, with how the two were already, it didn't take long until they did make up. Naturally, to prevent their friendship from wrecking again due to the pressure everyone was giving because 'slytherins were better than hufflepuffs' and 'hufflepuffs shouldn't waste their time such arrogant jerks', the two kept it a secret. Not that either mind. Reine liked her secrets; Evan couldn't be bothered with the taunting.
Secret friendships meant secret notes and secret meetings. Oh, it was all good and innocent fun. While Evan Rosier is no doubt at least half the manwhore Sirius Black is, he had no interest whatsoever in Aimeé as anything more than a friend. At least, no interest that he's openly expressed. It's always just been a strict, platonic friendship between the two. . .that no one else knew about. Well. . .no one else until the two were rather careless with one of their notes. They'd been passing the piece of parchment back and forth through out pretty much all of the potions period, not really paying attention to what they were doing. Needless to say, Aimeé's potion turned out just fine as the girl had quite a knack for the particular subject while Evan's potion. . .ah. . .let's just say he'd seen better days. The incident, both fortunately and unfortunately, had caught everyone's attention that no one noticed that little piece of parchment float slowly to the ground, right below the table.
In the next hour, in came yet another important person in this little twisted plot. Yes, darlings, in came Hayden Sinclair, a seventh year from Beauxbatons Academy of Magic.
In the dungeon, Hayden had been the last one to arrive and, quite unfortunately, got stuck with the messed up table where apparently something had exploded. Distaste and disgust marred his features as he sat down yet those ever keen eyes of his, as he plays seeker for his team at school, he spotted a small piece of parchment on the ground. Now, any normal person wouldn't even bother with such a thing, would they? Nuh uh. They would just leave it to be thrown away later by the caretaker or perhaps house elves. But not this time as an ever familiar scribble had caught the boy's eye. There, on the parchment, which had apparently been a note passed between Reine and some Drey was the oh-so noticeable signature of his friend. The semi-elegant writing, slightly wobbly spelled out the name she'd told him.
reine. <span style='font-size:7pt;line-height:100%'>Curiosity nagged at the boy until he'd stowed the note away in his bookbag to possibly be examined later. That was Reine's handwriting, he knew it. He'd seen it more than enough times in the past summers that he could tell her paper from anyone else. The problem was, though, how he would find her. Knowing Reine, he knew she liked secrets and well. . .he'd guessed since the summer that Reine wasn't exactly the name she really went by. If it were, he would've found her rather easily but no one seemed to know an Reine. Ah. . .why hadn't he asked for her last name? Then again, she'd known his real name. She could have found him if she'd wanted, especially now that he knew she was a witch.
The thoughts plagued his mind all day that he'd barely noticed when his on-again, off-again girlfriend, Marianne Sergeant, had come up to greet him after classes. He racked his thoughts for what it could have meant. It was obvious that Reine was going to meet with this Drey guy from what he'd read. Same place, usual time. Now he just had to figure out where that damned place was so he could find her and maybe ask her why she'd oh-so kindly ditched him that summer. It took a while before it clicked. The Quidditch pitch at sunset. He faintly recalled her mentioning that basketball reminded her of her favorite sport and, as she was a witch, she had to have been talking about Quidditch. She'd also said she liked just sitting around at the bleachers during sunset. So, that had to be it.
Of course. . .just one problem. The girlfriend.
Deciding to play it off as a date, Hayden brought her along with him to the pitch when he'd gone to find Reine. Of course, as he guessed, she was there and sitting rather close to someone he could faintly recall by the name Rosier, a Slytherin, he knew. Needless to say, that was quite the awkward encounter and by the end of it all? Well. . .Marianne Sergeant was squealing about how cute it was that the house rivalry was overcome with such 'love'. Oh yeah. The girl automatically had assumed that Aimeé & Evan were secretly dating. Whoop-dee-fuckin'-doo.
Everyone said their goodbyes and the next day, stares were unavoidable as Evan had left his common room. Well, he was about to before being tackled to the floor by a rather enthusiastic Slytherin. After calming the boy down, it was explained that apparently someone was letting it out that Evan Rosier was going out with a Hufflepuff, Aimeé Savage, and it was all over the school. That undoubtedly made a furious Evan Rosier and inevitably a very embarrassed Aimeé Savage. Of course, it wasn't only Evan that was pissed off about the news. Nuh uh. A certain Miss Chamois Renaud had heard of such rumors, as she refused to believe Evan Rosier would pick another girl over herself, and was obviously pissed off. It didn't take too long for the girl to start devising a plan which she quickly launched to action.
Her twin, Marius Renaud, who was unavoidably dragged into the mess was to do one thing for her and just one thing: snag Aimeé Savage's attention away from Evan Rosier. Good news: Her attention had never been on Evan, at least not in that way. Bad news: Her attention, since he'd arrived, had been on a certain Hayden Sinclair who already had a girlfriend. Since this was Hogwarts and her parents would never find out, unless Alec or Sebastian squealed, Aimeé figured it was safe for her to be talking to Hayden again. Of course, she had yet to explain why she'd ditched during the summer but the longer that explanation could be pulled back, the better, right? So, in an attempt to 'break' Evan and Aimeé apart, Chamois & Marius started hanging out with the four. Yes, Hayden & Marianne also started sticking around Evan and Aimeé, who, miraculously, hadn't let that rumor affect them this time.
Of course, as most plans do, this particular scheme had a major flaw. Chamois hadn't counted on her brother to start actually feeling something for the girl & when girl is mentioned, no, it isn't Aimeé. Nuh uh. Marius Renaud was starting to fall for none other than Miss Marianne Sergeant. Unfortunately or maybe fortunately for Hayden, Miss Sergeant seemed to be slowly returning the affections of Marius. Honestly, with everyone involved as they are, how will this work out?
Will Marianne & Hayden break up since Marianna apparently has feeligns for Marius? Will Marianne & Marius get together in the future? Will Evan actually ever give Chamois the time of day? Are Evan & Aimeé really just friends? Does Hayden Sinclair actually feel anything more than friendship for Miss Savage? What about Aimeé's feelings for Hayden? Platonic. . .or not? cheat sheet;;__Evan Rosier & Aimeé Savage are what any would call secret friends. __Hayden Sinclair, childhood friend of Miss Savage, is one of the Beauxbatons students currently residing at Hogwarts. __Hayden finds one of the notes passed between 'Reine' & 'Drey', quickly recognizing Aimeé's handwriting as his friend. __He tries to look for her to demand an explanation about the summer in secret. __Hayden has an on-again, off-again girlfriend. sub-plot number;; four. title;; _something wrong with very plan of my LiFE;; characters involved;;BLACK, regulus ;; 5th year MALFOY, noah ;; 6th year ROOKWOOD, adrasteia ;; 7th year ROOKWOOD, augustus ;; 7th year NOTT, tybalt ;; 7th year VANCE, emmeline ;; 6th year plot;; Secrets were always made to be broken. It has always been like that, and it always will be. Not that Regulus Black and Noah Malfoy thought that far ahead. The two Slytherins had gone completely beyond the boundaries of what should happen between two respected, rich purebloods sons. You see, in the blue corner, we have Regulus Black, small, dark-haired fifth-year Slytherin Seeker, known as possibly the most upbeat and cheerful Slytherin in Hogwarts, with more than a passing mental and physical resemblance to his older brother Sirius. Regulus liked the women, although he had never become a womaniser like his brother. In the red corner, we have Noah Malfoy, the brooding and steel-walled sixth year Slytherin Chaser, completely unlike Regulus in that he rarely seemed to crack a genuine smile or laugh. And the thing about Noah is … he’s gay.
Regulus and Noah are at completely different ends of the Slytherin spectrum … so you’d think they’d be average friends, wouldn’t you? Nothing closer? Well, that’s not so. For a couple of years now, Noah had harboured a secret attraction to the youngest Black son, and Regulus, being the naďve soul he is, had no idea. Not until Noah hit on him, that was. Regulus found himself utterly confused – what did he do? He enjoyed the intimate company of females, yet … he found himself attracted to Noah … what did this mean? Was he turning into a bisexual? He was sure he wasn’t – after all, Noah has been the only male he’s been attracted to.
Now, a couple of months after this turn of events, Regulus and Noah have been seeing each other, in secret, for a while. They carefully execute their meetings to ensure no one finds out about it, for they both know what is at stake if their liaisons are discovered – although Noah’s parents already know he’s gay, they wouldn’t be too happy finding out about their son’s potentially embarrassing involvement with the son of a family they are quite acquainted with, would they? And as for Regulus’ parents … he knows full well that he would be wiped straight off the family tree if they discovered he was seeing a fellow male. Even though their relationship is in complete secret, the two Slytherins are happy with each other.
However, everything changes with one letter from Walburga Black:
Dear Regulus,
As you know, that brother of yours abandoned us this summer, being as selfish as ever. Now, we only have you left. And myself and your father discussed our plans for your future, and we have both decided that we cannot risk losing you to the kind of world your brother has embraced. You may be in Slytherin, but we have received word that you are too much like your brother for your own good, and, frankly, we’re worried that we’re going to lose you too. Also, as you know, the Black line is one that should not be ended at all cost, and I have lost hope that your brother will ever produce satisfactory Blacks. You are our only hope left, and we need decent grandchildren to carry on our line.
Therefore, we have been talking to the Rookwoods, and after much deliberation, we have decided to get you and their daughter Adrasteia engaged. Isn’t that wonderful news? She’s a lovely girl, very pretty, and she seems perfect wife material for you. We’re all also convinced that she will make the perfect mother for the children you will have together.
The wedding is being planned as I’m writing this. The date is not final yet, but it will be after you turn eighteen. I’m sure you’re very excited about this turn of events, as are we all.
I will write again soon informing you of any updates.
Love, Mother
Now. Adrasteia Rookwood. A seventh-year Slytherin who is quite popular within their house. Her cousin is none other than Mr. Augustus Rookwood, and he is perhaps the one person Adrasteia idolises, next to Bellatrix Lestrange. Augustus is your typical Slytherin terroriser, constantly creating havoc wherever he went. Adrasteia, usually quite nice to her own fellow Slytherins, is rarely seen without her cousin. Augustus has the power to get her to do what he wants – she is under his wing, you may say. Whatever he says, goes. Miss Rookwood may be Little Miss Popular within Slytherin, but that’s the last thing she is to Regulus when he discovers he has to marry her.
You see, Regulus believes it is her fault that his life has gone down the drain with just one letter. And Adrasteia believes it is his fault that her life has been ruined. She had just got lucky with one Mr. Tybalt Nott – she didn’t want to be married off anymore than Regulus did. Now … Tybalt Nott … the quiet Slytherin, but a quiet Slytherin with a truly vicious side to him. He’s the epitome of silent evil, and not to mention handsome to boot. Adrasteia is feeling delighted to have perhaps struck lucky with him, only to discover she is being engaged to another young man. This, however, did not stop the female Slytherin from seeing Tybalt in private.
Regulus, on the other hand, feeling messed up with this revelation, and also quite missing the touch of a lady, finds himself in a broom closet with a Ravenclaw by the name of Emmeline Vance, who had developed a secret crush on the youngest Black. However, he ends up feeling so guilty about his betrayal of Noah, that he completely avoids Emmeline afterwards – if he sees her in the corridor, he’ll walk the other way, ducking behind taller students. Poor Regulus however, unable to bear the thought of lying to Noah, or keeping things from him, tells him everything.
Noah, predictably, goes crazy when Regulus admits cheating on him, and an argument between the lovers ensues; an argument which, unfortunately, Adrasteia just so happened to be listening in on. She had heard an upset voice that sounded like Regulus’, and a raised one that sounded like Noah’s, and decided to hide outside the door to find out what was happening. However, she ends up witnessing the two ‘making up’.
Horrified that she has seen her fiancé with another guy, Adrasteia runs straight to her beloved cousin Augustus, who persuades her that Regulus must pay for his betrayal towards her, and tells his cousin to tell her parents just what she has seen. Wanting only to humiliate Regulus, not Noah (a friend of hers from her childhood), Adrasteia informs her parents that she saw Regulus kissing ‘some guy’.
The Rookwoods, furious by this, immediately break off the engagement between Regulus and Adrasteia, and, to her utter delight, arrange a marriage between her and her own lover, Tybalt Nott. The Rookwoods’ plan to humiliate Regulus is not over, however, and they take great pleasure in smugly informing his parents about what had happened.
Walburga and Orion Black, on the other hand, refuse to believe the Rookwoods, thinking it impossible that Regulus could be anything but perfect. They believe that Regulus has simply wronged the other family in some way, and the Rookwoods are attempting to discredit him. And so, a petty feud resumes between the Black family, and the Rookwood family.
In the meantime, what will happen to Regulus and Noah? Will the Rookwoods manage to destroy Regulus's reputation? What will happen with Adrasteia and Tybalt? Will Adrasteia ever tell that Noah was that 'some guy'? Will Augustus convince Addie to ever tell? cheat sheet:: - Regulus and Noah become secret lovers. - Regulus's mother sends him a letter saying he will be engaged to Adrasteia. - Adrasteia receives the same letter from her parents saying she is engaged to Regulus. - Adrasteia secretly continues to see Tybalt. - Regulus continues to see Noah, and Addie & Reg are on bad terms. - Regulus slips up and has a fling with Emmeline. - He tells Noah about it and they fight but make-up. - Adrasteia sees them making up and tells Augustus. - Augustus urges her to tell her parents. - The engagement is broken off, but Addie never told it was Noah who Reg was with. - The Rookwoods and Blacks are now on bad terms.

Of course he was like the rest of his house in some ways - above everyone else to the point of being an asshole about it. He didn't really care; the only things he gave his mind to was his drumming, girls, and Quidditch. He was falling behind in his studies. He didn't claim to be the smartest individual either. Felan didn't want to admit it, but he needed help - luckily, he got more than he bargained for.
Enter Alice Edgecomb. She was a Gryffindor, and a pretty smart one to boot. She was in Felan's year, and although she had a bit of a problem remember little things, it helped her to get to know the Slytherin. It all started in History of Magic class - Binns was rattling on about some goblin war once again, and Alice was halfheartedly taking notes. Halfway through the class, she realized she wasn't using her favorite quill. She searched for it, and searched for it before bothering to send a note to none other than Felan Greyback. Of course, he was the one who had her quill and would keep it for ransom in exchange for Alice's notebook that held notes. Desperately to get her quill back, she agreed and so began the note buddy episodes.
The two sixth years actually didn't mind chatting with one another through written word. Both were entertained and intrigued, so it wasn't a shock that simple words soon turned into flirting words. How did that happen? Felan flirts with everyone, and Alice crushes on everyone. Funny how things like that work. But the thing was that both of them were actually flirting and crushing with one another. Those little notes led to secret meetings - now those were interesting. Rather than rare notes and meetings, they soon became more frequent, more often. This shouldn't be happening, Alice thought at one point. We're in different houses. The houses that hate each other. What are we going to do?
The first sign that something was going wrong was when Hadley Madley - another sixth year - started to piece the puzzle together. Being good friends with both Alice and Felan, she noticed things that couldn't be denied. Whenever one or the other was mentioned, the person would offer a smile and an awkward laugh while trying to divert the subject matter away. She would see that the two passed notes to one another in class, would see them leave places one after the other .. come on; only a Ravenclaw would really pick up on these things that quick. When she finally confronted the two of them about it, they didn't deny it but made her swear she wouldn't squeal on them. Oh, just as long as she was the only person who knew about them, it would be all good, right?
Sadly enough, it got worse.
One day, Felan wasn't being so discreet about writing one of his owls to Alice. Adrasteia Rookwood, a fellow Slytherin of Felan's, spotted him writing. Her eyes were quick to see that he was writing to someone named Alice. Sucks for him, because Addie only knew of one Alice - that Alice was in Gryffindor. "What are you up to, Greyback? Writing to a Gryffindor?" She sneered. Felan was quick to hide the note. "What are you talking about, Rookwood?" He made sure his response was calm and collected. The girl shrugged. "Oh, I don't know. That love letter to Edgecomb looks like something. I thought better of you, Greyback - writing love notes to a Gryffindor." She made a point to stress that it was a Gryffindor. If you were a good Slytherin, you were smart enough to stay away from those nasty little Gryffies.
"Don't worry, Rookwood," Felan replied coolly, preparing himself for the lie was about to tell. "You know I flirt with everyone. She's just another to flirt with."
Funny how things travel quickly down a grapevine.Addie decided to briefly drop that Greyback was talking to a Gryffindor to Amycus Carrow - of course, it was brief and just something to fill space in a conversation. Amycus believed this would be very interesting and have fun spreading it to his girlfriend, Emmeline - a close friend of Alice's. She went to Alice and confronted her about Felan.
"So, have you been talking to anyone new, Alice?" Emmeline asked one day, poking Alice in the shoulder. The Gryffindor shrugged. "No, not really. Why d'you ask?" The Ravenclaw shrugged as well. "Oh, I just heard some interesting news about you talking to Felan Greyback and flirting with him." Immediately, the girl's cheeks flamed up and turned a deep shade of crimson. Oh, no. How did this happen? "It's .. it's nothing, Emmeline. C'mon, you know how I crush on just about every guy at this school. I was just being nice and played along with him."
But that news had soon spread like wildfire (thanks to that little bug that everyone knows as Rita Skeeter and her accomplice, Bertram Aubrey), and the two had to do something quick. Felan began the new round of flirting - beginning with none other than Amycus' little sister, Alecto. She was a cute girl, and he had to divert the attention away from himself and Alice. Amycus immediately becomes the very pissed off older brother. How else to get back at someone (without the physical violence, of course) than to go flirt with his crush, Ms. Edgecomb. In jumps in Astrid Lestrange - strange close friend of Alice's - to threaten Amycus with physical violence. [[ MORE STUFF CAN HAPPEN, just make up crazy stuff, guys. <3 ]]
Felan and Alice didn't want this to happen. Both were humiliated and embarrassed to even be out in public. The correspondence soon died down, but one couldn't deny that the two of them were still crushing pretty hard.
Will Felan and Alice actually be able to have a relationship, despite their differences? Will this just cause more drama between the houses? Or will this bring people together in a time of terror and death? cheat sheet:: + felan greyback is failing classes; alice edgecomb is not. + they talk about quills and ransom in their first note. + she offers to help him to pass. + the notes continue, becoming more flirty with each word. + the two start to meet in private + adrasteia rookwood one day finds out about these notes + felan denies the notes and flirting with alice + adrasteia tells amycus carrow casually about the notes + amycus mentions the notes to emmeline - a friend of alice's + emmeline confronts alice about it; she denies anything + to take away the attention, felan flirts with alecto carrow + amycus becomes pissed and flirts with alice to get back at felan + astrid lestrange threatens amycus physical violence if he lays a hand on alice + both alice and felan are embarrassed beyond belief + but they still like each other omg + what happens next is anyone's guess
