july of 1947. the hottest summer england has seen since, well, forever. the air was stifling, suffocating, so much so that even walking outside became something to avoid. the blistering sun belonged anywhere else, and the city of london was wishing once more for grey skies and pouring rain it had grown so accustomed to since the beginning of time.

still healing from the aftereffects of a great war, england's eyes are blind to the oncoming dangers. rebuilding their great nation once more, the english citizens think nothing of the prickling sense of danger that washes over them second by second - none save those who are a part of the great wizarding world. because the muggles have just survived a great war of their own, though suffering devastating losses.

after the decisive duel between the greatest wizarding forces of all time - albus dumbledore and gellert grindelwald - two years ago, the wizarding world feels safe for the first time in decades. with dumbledore taking charge of bringing up their children within hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry parents across the nation are able to sigh a breathe of relief.
