Time cures all ails and creates an obscure line between truth and lies. In thirty years people are still scurrying around, living everyday lives and repeating blunders better left in the past. Instead of learning from history, it seems the hidden magical world once again needs a hero to play Hercules, but like so many years ago, no one wants to admit it. In times of panic the world is a chaotic mess and the blame land on the shoulders of a certain Ministry of Magic who do what they’re best at – screw everyone else over to save their own skinny necks.
Society didn’t seem discerned when adversity battered a diminutive British town near the sea coast or the disappearances of Victoria Lou Cole, Cade Bill Younger, Richard Anthony Zimmerman and six other ministry officials. The eccentric death of the Adair, Goring and Harrison family didn’t turn head either, but what do all these occurrences have in common? It seemed with each death, disappearance or tragedy the event corresponded with horrors that had happened thirty years ago. To announce that a copy cat of the Dark Lord has arrived would cause mayhem among the people. The Ministry was still recovering after the last fiasco with the Death Eaters and Lord Voldemort, it was better to keep society blind. No one wanted to take responsibility, everything was covered up, paper work done and more lies spread. In the Ministry of Magic’s point of view, everything was perfect on the surface. There are certain matters in this world that shouldn’t be kept under wrapped; the magical world had a right to know that their lifestyles and ways of living were in peril.
“We’ve come too far, we’re so close – continue in my stead, my precious son, take the world by storm,”
Those were the dying words of Lucifer Malfoy to his son Draco as he clamped the younger boys hand and planted the seeds of evil into a corruptive mind – it would be those words that created in Draco a sense of duty to honor his father’s wish and all his work – to build back up the prestigious Death Eaters and indeed take the world by storm. Dominance of Pure Bloods and the thirst of supremacy would change a man into what many would view as a monster. To other’s he was an inspiring leader, a pillar of strength and a man with a vision that would lead them in the right direction to authority, power and control. Last time they had nearly succeeded, and this time there was no ‘Savior’ to stop them. Harry Potter had settled into a comfy life style raising three children with his wife Ginny Weasley. The path for their hostile takeover of the ministry was in the clear.
More and more Death Eaters took the high powering ministry jobs until Draco hit a real opportunity with Russell L. Adolphus, a leading believer in blood superiority and dominance, was one of Draco’s recruited Death Eaters, and prospect of a life time. Together, Adolphus and Malfoy would indeed, take the world by storm. They knew the very first place to start, was corrupting the minds that would be in charge of the world tomorrow; the students of Hogwarts of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Ignorance is bliss
It wasn’t just the adults of the world being pressured to lives of conformity and blood dominance, the Death Eater ideals had been conditioned into their very own children, anything to reach their goal. Even the sanctuary Hogwarts wasn’t free from the violence and fear of the sudden growth and power of the Death Eaters path to pure blood supremacy. Sides were formed and alliances made, that line of good and evil was once again blurred, innocence was a thing of a past.
Under the careful eyes of the teacher Hogwarts continued its reputation of being a society of safety for children and a healthy learning environment. Under the gloss of the school and the lies, breathed the truth of corruption, fear and violence that no student escaped. Danger and force still lurks in the shadows and everyone has a secret that’s just not meant to be told. Young adult years are filled with confusion between individualism versus conformity, and there’s a certain truth with blood is thicker than water and in a world where alliances are pressured from birth to death…
