Forty years of dictatorship was enough. The people of Akrasis had borne enough, and have begun their revolt. Peaceful protests began around the country, from the capital of Ilia to the smallest villages. The dictator, a man by the name of Viktor Desten, let the protests be at first, hoping that they would disappear after a few months. This didn't happen, however. Following this, he sent his troops and the police upon the protesters, beating bloody any who did not follow orders to get out of the streets. His secret police began arresting the leaders of the protest movement. Soon, organized violence broke out.

This was a year ago. Now, there is a new power in the mix. Not revolutionaries...no, these people aren't so noble. They are Apstamb. Their mission is revenge, taking the toll of blood from the government that had killed so many. They take contracts from grieving families in exchange for money, equipment, and food. In short, they are a group of ragtag assassins and mercenaries.

When these three groups of people with separate motivations combine, what will happen? Will you be a Rebel? A soldier? Orin Apstamb? Or will you simply be a normal citizen, trying to live your life around all these people?
