Rean had just gotten wind that three of her riders were taken she was furious actually to be honest she was beyond furious. She knew that it was the harems because all those taken were male, she was pacing angrily out in the main clearing of the weyr. She was angry and she wanted the whole of Pern to know it she called Lovewell to her a few moments earlier. To much was frelling going on, Rupture was back Rider's were missing, the war was over thankfully.
Lovewell showed up a few moments after being called and looked at Rean with his good eye and nodded he knew something was up. Sithen was eight months old it wasn't to much longer till he was fully grown and would be big enough to ride. Lucius knew that his Raptor would also be useful for the Search that was to begin. Lucius was angry and irritated, he looked at Rean and nodded stiffly. "Well Lovewell we have a problem on our hands." She said stiffly as she looked at the General. Lucius sighed, "What problem would that be?" He asked as he looked at her waiting for her answer. "Yes Adeloc of Calcium Zhath, Tolgar of Cobalt Jironath, V'ian of Red Feline Iryoth, Yorikal of Bronze Yorikask, Blue Yorisk, Topaz Irask and Green Yorsk are all missing. They are all males that are bonded and most answer to me and the weyr as a whole. The fact they are taken is a problem, I have a suspicion that they were taken by Harems." She said to Lovewell, the man stood there at attention.
Lucius sighed and knew that was indeed a problem, "So Ma'am, this problem you believe is the work of the Harems?" He said to her with a nod. We will look for them. We will find them General. Though I think we should focus on that above all else let her worry of the Rupture. Sithen told his bonded as he looked at the man his body was curled up not far from him. Watching the man and the woman that stood there, Perhaps, your right Sithen. We should worry about the men not Rupture Staren will be fine since we do not allow any carriers within our ranks. Lovewell said to his Wyvern as he looked at the wyvern.
"Yes, I do believe that General Lovewell." She said to him as she looked at the man sure that she was right as she looked at him, waiting for his response. "We should split our forces and deal with all this by doing so. Rupture, Missing Riders and Handler, The beginnings of Peace. What do you say?" Rean asked of Lovewell, watching the man and Miroth watching Sithen, General Lovewell nodded. "I believe that you are right, by splitting our forces we will do better. I'm going to recall Staren to our base, we will do our job. So for that call all riders interested in helping. I'll have Sithen notify Staren that we are pulling back." Lovewell told her as he watched the woman. STAREN! WE ARE PULLING OUT! LEAVING THE WEYR! BE PREPARED! Sithen announced as he stood waiting with his bonded for the signal to take to the air.
SAPPHOS RIDERS! SHOW UP! THOSE INTERESTED IN LOOKING FOR ADELOC, TOLGAR, VIDIAN AND YORIKAL! YOU WILL ALL BE HELPING STAREN. Miroth said to all the dragons and riders of the weyr as the two leaders stood waiting for the Guard and Staren to show up.

The dragons are summoning a meeting for those who wish to search. Galena informed her bondmate, words drawn out long and slow. This had all been very interesting in the earliest days, but now it had evolved to boredom and unecessary work, and there was a massive dragon- well massive by their standards- crowding up her beach.
It was extraordinarily annoying. Almost enough so to make her drop her carefully constructed barriers around Koren's mind. But, she suspected futilely that if she did, she might die with him. It was hard to say, but the dragons she had conversed with described their bonds as so very similar to her own. She could imagine herself living without her human anchor easily enough, but that was only imagining.
So, she carried right on, half-muting the cacophony. Koren was not, after all, built to handle this kind of mental strain. When he'd blooded Yorikal's run, he'd only have two bonds- Galena and Verity- to worry about integrating, and while six was a large number, it wasn't impossible. BUt now, with more hevrens, and his own trio of whers, he was well above a dozen voices and minds crushing in on his own, and he was suffering for the strain.
Will you go? Galena asked, and all around him a chaotic mass of voices- some he hardly even recognized any more- screamed yes, of course! The man at the eye of the storm said nothing. But he took wobbling steps towards the door of his overstuffed chamber in the creature caverns, hands resting on Verity and Yorikask for support. From faraway, he heard both offer to carry him, but still he didn't speak. His words were few and far between now. Galena could speak for him, as she spoke for his pack.
The journey to where the great red feline dragon waited on Galena's shores was tedious and slow, but he never fell, though perhaps only because of fast thinking from his mad honor guard. Arriving there, he was an amazing mess. Bags under his eyes from where dozen-times compounded worry wouldn't let him sleep. Hair and clothes wrinkled and wild from where he had attempted. Surrounded by a sea of creatures- whers, hevrens, canines, drats- that moves in unison with him, a great chaotic whirl of firelizards swarming the air above him.
He smiled dimly at the dragon. He believes he would be a fair match for the fire-lizard woman who rides astride Balath.
