The Site

-If YOU join the site, do something! Message me, reserve a character, or fill out an application.

-Activity is amazingly important. As an admin, I am very active myself. I expect my members to be as well. I’m not talking about being on 20 times a day (Although I wouldn’t complain.) but please be on a few times a week, enough to keep up with posts. LOG IN once every five days.

-I don’t mind if you if you have more than one character as long as you can keep up with them. With that said, if you’re going to take a very important character, KEEP up with them.

-Original Characters are allowed SINCE we need some for the others to interact with. With that said the following types of originals are allowed:

(note these are not set in stone, it's just here to give an idea so stay within the lines)

# 1/3 Nurses/ Doctors
# 0/5 City Hall/ Government Officials
# 0/3 Reporters/Paparazzi
# 0/3 Mob Bosses
# 0/10 Mob Thugs

-To start off, the amount of VIGILIANTES allowed will be on a VERY limited basis as we don't want overload of costume toting people to start off with. However, you are welcome to take up a pre-vigilante-days character free and clear providing they are not yet out stalking crime. If you're dead set on doing it, take it up with me first and foremost and I'll consider it but no promises.

-As the above says for vigilantes, VILLAINS are now on hold until further notice for the almost same reasons. (added as of 8/9/8)

-No Mary-sues or Gary Stus. We want flaw full characters that are not perfect in every way imaginative. Doing so will get you on a one way ticket to denied-land.

-With the above being said DO NOT make characters that's sole purpose is to pair up with another character, unless given permission by said character. Either way, especially with Bruce Wayne, do not make a character that's sole purpose is to be his love slave. Not happening is this RP. No exceptions.


-No god-modding unless we, the admins, have given you permission.

-STAY in character. If the staff feel you haven’t been in character, we will give you a warning, if you don’t take it , and change anything, we will be confiscating your character.

-I will do a member sweep every two weeks. Unless you post in the away boards, or send me your problem, I will delete you and set out to replace you. You have been warned.

-I’m sick of drama. If I spot drama, you may be banned. If you argue with the admins, or cause a fuss. You will get a warning, then be banned, then deletion will follow.

-If you start a character application once you've created a character, you will have three days to finish or delete it. If you fail to do so, you're gone. All inactive members (For more then 10 days with out notice) Will be deleted at the end of two weeks.

-Do not send other people on the site personal invitations to your own. If you get one, please contact the admin. We have an ad’s section for such things.



The Threads

- No posts under 200 words. Also, please spell check your posts.

-This is an advanced site, If I see any new role players, or terrible ones, you will be deleted. I do this to keep my sites advanced. And deleting them on the spot insures that.

-If you have been deleted after applying please don’t re-apply. You’ll just be deleted again, I know if you re-apply because I can see your email as well as IP.

-Third person only.

-Anything goes. Sex, Drugs, Drinking, Swearing. We're all old enough here, but please if you have your characters have sex, don't have them do it every other topic. I don't mind smutt, but I find it annoyin when that's all people allow their characters to do. This is not the purpose of the game, nor is this a porn website.

-If you do a mature thread (IE: Sex, smutt, whatever you call it), please mark it with (Mature) (M) (NC-17) before the title of the post.

-Threads are automatically moved to the Faded Pages after each time jump, even if you haven't completed it yet. Though you still may finish/continue it from there even after.

-Reading threads. Please, if you intend on posting and interacting with one of the threads, actually read the previous posts. We can tell when you don't and it annoys many of the players, so please if you're going to post, don't just put effort into your writing, but actually reading what others have said.



The Graphics

-If you’re Harvey Dent, do not have only a graphic of James Gordon. So what I’m saying is only have major graphics of your own character. Others may be in the image with your character, as long as your character is present in the photo. Or if you want to follow Sammy's example with her Joker account having the joker's playing cards, if you can do the same with your character you can.

-Do not make your sigs bigger then 550 pixels wide, and over 300 pixels tall.

-No 65x65 Icons. All icons must be 100x100.

-I don't care if you've got a sig, but you MUST have an icon.

-No anime or cartoons. Only real people images here.



Fonts and Other

-If you want a certain font, that’s fine. But stick with it. This site has no font claims since most people find it annoying having to fill in a font each time.

-If anyone has a problem with your font, mainly the admin, we will ask you to change it.

--If you've read the rules place 'Dr. Crane Isn't In Right Now' in the 'Did you read the rules' section of your application.



Chat box Rules

-Please format your name in the cbox such as ‘ 'Characters Name' {Your name if you wish.}

-No advertising in the c-box.

-No OCC drama.

-I don’t care if you give out your screen names and such, just don’t be surprised if randoms add you.

-DON’T post stupid short messages. Especially 3 in a row. Such as ‘I’m so boreddddddddddd x3.’ ‘WEEEEEEEEE!’ Ect. They irritate me.
