The twenty-fourth day of the Last Month

I have had it! That boy's resistance will cost him far more than he is willing to pay! Once this lover is found, he will be put to death immediately in the public square! And I deem all such acts as the acts my son has participated to be illegal and heavily punishable! I will continue to hold my captives, and I will persecute those of magic if I even feel the slightest bit of inkling that they have something to do with my son! If I find he is under some sort of magical enchantment the wizard responsible will die a painful and slow death!

The Drēússhen Castle Grounds
Drēússhen was once a powerful, great kingdom ruled by great rulers in the grassy lands of Aroramun. However, when the current ruler, Jestronin, came to power, his cruel, tyrannical reign began. Taxes are at their highest, the peasants are nearly beggars and the rich tread with fear. Demons are cruelly abused and treated worse than dirt by the king himself. The kingdom itself is beginning to deteriorate. The castle is a sprawling palace of stone with a dozen gorgeous gardens maintained by the castle servants. There are stables, and an armament room.

Castle Gardens
The castle gardens are found in many places surrounding the castle within. Flowers of many kinds and colors fill them, as well as walk paths, benches, and places where herbs for healing are grown.

Around Town
Though the city is rundown and poor, thanks to the terrible conditions of the economy presented by their King, the locals are friendly and try their best, though most of them do nothing for free, as they cannot afford it. There is a great statue of their founding king, and a memorial to the great sorcerer whom worked by his side.

Aroramun Lands
These green, beautiful lands stretch far and wide outside the town surrounding Drēússhen castle. Many roads stretch across the expanse of space to lead the weary traveler. Inns can be found dotting along the side of the roads. Up in the mountains or even just a mile from the roads, there are farms and vineyards, always ready to offer rooms to travelers for a price, or staples to sell.

Palace Nengishōu
The Nengishiōu are a beautiful people living within a majestic world. Their home is an island high in the sky, created and maintained through powerful native magic, which the Nengishiōu perform through what appears to outsiders as song. The palace is a gorgeous, white wash structure fitted with a dome. The walls and pillars are ornately carved and statues of majestic birds dot various places atop the palace like gargoyle guardians. A particularly wonderful bird with its wings spread wide, sits atop the dome.

Servant's Quarters
The servants’ quarters are small homes in a separate building on the palace ground amongst the gardens. Each servant has their own small room with a bed, a table, and a place to wash.

The Palace Gardens
The Palace gardens are located in the back, and thrive with abandon. They climb the walls of the palace. The plant life is as vibrant and strong as the people who tend them as almost family. There are miles of gardens with sculpture to view, long paths to walk, and many places to sit and relax.

The Palace Grounds
The castle rests within the heart of their great city. The Palace is made up of pure white marble. It’s columns rise high into the sky, creating an elegant yet over powering feeling. Stairs lead up to the front of palace, which is surrounded by a mile of smoothed marble. All of the marble is finished and glistens in the suns powerful rays. The walls of the castle are full of carved out windows to let light fill the palace.

 Nengishōu Village

Town Square
The town square is located right in front of the palace. It’s where all the festivals and the daily market are held. Music can always be heard, rising up into the clouds as the people try to sell their wares.

The temple is located in the center of the city near the palace. It’s design is the same as the palace, but smaller, and carvings of religious scenes are inlaid with gold. Inside is an alter before a colossal statue of their mother goddess.

The Maturation House
The maturation house is a very important and well-respected house aside from the palace and temple shrine. All Nengishiōu are born female, but after a few hundred years the gene that causes the change from female to male finally activates and the ascension into adulthood begins. The change is a week long and an experience said to be even more painful than childbirth. However, there have been some unfortunate enough to pass away during that change. The maturation house is a large building on the far end of the Nengishhiou plate, as isolation is necessary during the passage into adulthood.

Around Town
Though the city is modest and quaint, it is festive and positive. There are many gardens and venues to see within the city. The people are friendly and welcoming, however, if a human ever finds himself in their midst, they are not quite so welcoming.

The Great Hall
This is where the pillar of their world exists. It is the only way in which passage into the Nengishiou world can be achieved. It is a large, majestic hall filled with hundreds of voices singing. The songs come from the hundreds of women standing in alcoves just as tall and wide as they. They stand still, blindfolded and dressed in white. They sing, day and night without rest, and without any sustenance. The Nengishiōu whom exist here are extremely powerful, and though their fate is sad and often resisted, it is needed to support their world to keep them safe from the violent world below. When treading down this path, one must make sure to never linger or look upon the singing maidens, for your soul shall be taken by a vengeful guardian.

Drāshnöl Desert is a nearly unlivable desert. In fact, only a few plants exist there, as they are the only things that can withstand the heat and dryness. Half the desert is rolling sand dunes and sand storms, and the other half is hard, flat rock with tall jagged mountains. It’s not recommended to traverse, but many brave people try every year to reach the Dragonian homeland, some make it, and some don’t.

Drelnilor is a rocky, volcanic stretch of mountainous land in which the Dragonian people occupy. It’s treacherous and un-inhabitable for any other life form, and the Dragonians call it their home with pride. However, in the last decade a terrible and mysterious tragedy took place. In one night, the powerful, prideful Dragonian warrior nation was reduced to rubble. Many lives were lost, and as a result only a handful of Dragonian people survive today. They roam the lands, usually as mercenaries.

The great Dragonian people have almost all but left their home for one reason or another, but it’s seemingly understood that the Dragonian people could not withstand the heartbreak of what happened and left. There are now only broken down ghost towns haunted by free demons and monsters dotting the landscape that was once a center of liveliness for the Dragonian people.

Crumbling Palace
The once great towering palace that was constructed of stone and the glassy volcanic rock that covers the land is now in ruins. The palace has since been raided of all of its valuables, however, there are rumors that there are still many treasures hidden inside secret rooms, but no one knows where they are.

Epheariam Woods
The Epheariam woods are the woods in which the Elves live. Many mystical plants and flowers with great healing capabilities thrive. The Epheariam woods are also where the Uniconians roam. The forest is beautiful and lush and is said to house the many powerful spirits and sprites of magic. There seems to be an air of mystery and majesty about the woods that draws outsiders deep into her confines, as if entranced by her beauty and enigmatic glory.

Orrkelit Village
Orrkelit Village is the main town only about a mile from the palace, though a growing population has it growing closer. Many things can be found in Orrkelit Village. There are shops for all types of necessities, cultural venues, and even an area in which music is practiced and played. There is never a dull moment in the colorful, lively place. The people are energetic and kind, though some may stub their noses a little to humans because of the current circumstance, the place is full of things to do.

Osaúgal Castle
Osaúgal Castle is a very organic structure. It’s located deep in the forests in which the Elves live. It’s located on the forest floor, but stretched high into the treetops. Beautiful woodcarvings of religious stories are etched into the wood of the palace. Words in ancient Elvin tongue are carved into beams and above doors, all of which hold mystical power. The palace itself is a marvel of natural beauty, though the structure is very obviously man built.

Combat Training Zone
The combat training zone is where all the young Elves come to practice their combat skills. The range is large and very dedicated to the art. It contains numerous stations for all types of training, from magic, to swordsmanship, and archery. It’s free and the archers are kind to travelers looking to practice. It’s also a great place to buy weapons and armor and other supplies related to the practice.

Rāōrenth Lake
Rāōrenth Lake is a very famous lake. It is the site in which in legend, describes one of the early great Elvin kings fought a horde of mysterious monsters with black skin and eerie purple eyes, to protect his people. Much of the legend has been lost over time due to ill record keepings at the time, and a serious fire that destroyed many of their records. However, the importance of the lake has not been forgotten. A great wooden lacquered statue stands before the lake and Elves visit often, if not for the beautiful view of the sun’s rays glistening off of the water’s surface, or the tasty fish caught, but simply to pay respects to the courageous king who protected them.

The Rewmore crystal is a pivotal place for all Elvin kind. It is where the young are taken when they reached the time in which the coming of age ceremony takes place. A rite of ascension takes place as tattoos of organic designs are added to the outer arms, chest, and thighs, for the arms that protect you, the heart that beats for you, and the legs that carry you in your journey of adulthood.

Forest Temple
The Forest Temple is where the Elves worship the spirits of the woods and earth. It’s a tall structure made up of stone and wood in the front. The rest of it is dug back into a mountainside. There are a series of rooms meant for prayer and contemplation and the main room, which is the first room entered, is a place where other types of rituals relating to spirits and healing take place.
