I never tell people that I write. Two people in the world know about it.
Obviously with the exception of people on the internet.

And I was wondering if anyone else sort of keeps it to themselves?

I used to think that it was because it was so personal.
But, considering my stories, none of them are derived from personal experience. They have nothing to do with me or my life. In fact, I tend to write about things I'm interested in and haven't experienced, just so i can explore whatever the subject is further.

I was wondering if I was a freak, or if this is anyone else's dirty little secret?

Dirty little secret like mad ecstatic.gif

I'm embarrased about it, actually, because all I write is no substance junk, and especially when I began to get into fanfiction, I got super paranoid about it.

I've mostly stopped writing now, but I've still got random papers and files from when I was 14/15 when I did the most writing scattered around my room. They embarrass me as well, but I still kinda want to keep them, you know?

The year I did NaNo, I told my mum and a few of my friends, but that was it.

Ah, fanfiction!
I write/wrote it. I had two sort of major stories going, and I haven't finished them... but I have to 'cause a lot of people really like them!
What type of fanfiction did you write?

I couldn't stop writing. There's too much stuff rattling round in my head.

Harry Potter and That '70s Show.
I liked writing T70sS better, because I think I had a better grasp on the characters.
What about you?

Wow! That 70's show? I've never heard of anyone writing fan fiction for that.

Me, well, I'm a TV geek, so weirdly Prison Break and House M.D.
But I fell in love with the original character from my Prison Break fanfiction and decided to write a story especially for her. =]
I really need to finish it. It's like three chapters away from completion...

Really?! It's really grown in the last few years ... a bunch of people on FanForum got together and kinda rekindled the T70sS fanfiction flame, it was great fun.

I probably would have noticed it, or actually got involved, if I'd watched the show more often.
I was too busy with Lost and stuff. Ugh, I watch too much TV. =/

I'm more of a reality TV fan ... Survivor, Hell's Kitchen, The Amazing Race, things like that ecstatic.gif No fanfiction, there (which is probably a good thing, seeing as it allows me to be more productive tongue.gif )

Yeah, you're lucky.
I have no life. None whatsoever.
I mean, tomorrow's night is my leavers dinner, and everyone usually goes out afterwards to like, a club or something.
But I'm seriously considering coming home straight after so I don't miss Grey's Anatomy.
It's pathetic!

Can I just say how much I love the coloring in your sig? They look so .. gorgeously tanned ..

Anyway, as for writing .. It's so depressing but I can't seem to get myself to write anything remotely .. good? I guess? Ah I feel so unmotivated .. and most of the time I keep what I do write to myself unless I actually feel proud of it, which is rare.
I've tried my hand at fanfics but they just don't work for me. I think most of the time I start a plot and have no idea where to go with it. I have beginnings but no end.

This saddens me to no end. LMAO. <3SENDHELPPLZ.

Haha, and he's dead! His skin shouldn't have that sun kissed radiant glow!

I get like that a lot.
And then I re-write, and re-write. And re-write.
And give up and leave it.
There isn't one piece of writing that I'm completely happy with. =[

Ah, you see, I usually mirror the plotline of the actual TV series. Or, well, i dunno, just make my own up, but end it abruptly.
I always have the end in mind before I start writing.

AH I so desperately need inspiration!

With the exception of two people in real life, no one knows I like to write, when I have the inspiration.

And inspiration comes randomly. blank.gif

But, like if I had all the time and inspiartion in the world, I would write daggy romantic, corny Draco and Ginny fics to really angsty ones. Its quite fun and its an outlet for how I feel sometimes.

Only one or two people back in my old hometown know that I write. Otherwise, it's kept to myself =P I'm doing a pretty good job at keeping it quiet, especially since my english marks borderline retard >.>

My friend, the only one that knows about me and my wee thing for writing, showed me her poetry.
'Cause we both write, but no one else knows except for each other, and so we're kinda sharing our stuff.

But my god, holy crap.
Her stuff is amazing.
She only has about 3 poems, and 2 Haiku's that she gave me.
But WOW, they literally took my breath away.
And her ending lines just pack a serious punch.

I never even knew she had an interest in poetry before this. Like, she was the LAST person I'd think would write it.

Anyway, sorry, needed to tell someone.

I'm thinking people should be more open about this... maybe...=/
