Like real life, really, mum kicking dad's arse into gear. I don't mind my hair too much because it pretty much does what it says in the package: brown, flicks at the end and stays tamed (unless someone decides to super-gel my hair again!). I do have a bit of blonde that peeks through now and again if it's been really sunny, but apart from that, no-one would guess what family I belonged to until they saw my name. What else can I say about the handsome me? Well...my eyes are my prize, or that's what I think when I go around spotting some hot bird in the corridor. What? I cannot stop my hotness from bringing over the girls! Anyway, I've been told that I've got cute eyes. Cute. Not something a guy wants to hear about himself, but not too bad, I guess. Usually, you can tell how I'm feeling about the look I have at that time: if I'm angry, they're likely /not/ to be narrowed, but kind of glazed over and dark, and yet, if I'm happy, then they're all generally happy looking, which only happens if some Gryffindork falls over. (Look...I'm not a descrpitive person so bear with me!) I guess they're pretty sharp too since I use them mostly to keep an eye for nice arse. Not my fault that I need to satisfy my needs, is it? Girls seem to fall at my feet all the time, especially the mudbloods, though I wouldn't be desperate enough to dirtying myself like that. The rest of my body is rather skinny, sometimes making people wonder if I'm anorexic. That always made him laugh patronus: A cobra -- Hearing that his mum had finally pushed herself to leaving his father and ignoring his demands to get back in her life. personality: Miles is someone that you don't just meet. You either see him or you don't. Normally, if you are a girl, then Alec has only appeared so he can let his victim try and escape but eventually he gets what he wants. In other words, he is the one who decides whether someone is to live or to die (mentally). An actual devil walking on the earth. He doesn't give a damn about anyone other than himself and believes that he is only what he is to rid the planet of every single mortal that exists. Oh, he seems caring when he first meets someone - the proper gentleman. Smiling, being romantic, friendly, but as he slowly gains someone's trust, he begins to make things happens. Small things at first. Friends starts to turn against each other, which gives Miles the edge to be the 'only one who truly cares', and once he has gained that trust, he strikes, wiping that person out of existance and quickly disappearing without trace. That is at least what he does with those he chooses, but to be honest, Miles wasn't always this evil. No, in his younger years, he had been a caring, heartfelt young man who wanted to help as many people as he could, but after being beating verbally and physically, any piece of kindness that had once lived within him was driven out with every kick and slap he was given. He doesn't to the day know why he is becoming like his father, but he knows he wants it to stop. Now. The only female that Miles has any respect for would be his mother, Rose. Some part of him that existed so long ago comes out every time she is with him and he hates it! It makes him weak, it makes him almost...likeable, and he feels nothing but disgust, which drives him to hurt more so to forget that feeling, but when it does appear, the familiar reflex of a protective, loving son comes out. Protecting her even when she doesn't need protecting, actually talking to her. His mother. To him, she is the most important person in the entire world, the universe, the galaxy and because of that, she has to be protected at all costs. Never did he think he would love someone as deeply as he does his mum. That is at least his evil side, which Miles holds down with struggling difficulty. When he had been younger, his father had seen him as nothing more than a liability, being completely different to the son Euan had wanted as an heir, especially after being Sorted into Slytherin. At least until he was eleven and something him changed. As he grew, Miles began to realise that what he had been doing was evil and he knew that couldn't carry on with that so he began to fight against his 'nasty' side. It was hard and still is to this day, but since then, the real side of Miles has emerged slowly but surely. He is no-where near a kind and sweet boy who would do anything to help his friends. That is almost 'Puff like. No, he is in Slytherin, and one cocky prat, loving sex and doin the favourite snake past-time of going after first-years. He loves to draw whenever he can because he helps him to bring out any unwanted emotion and helps him to keep down 'it'. Miles is a very hard person to understand sometimes. When a person first meets him, he is very cautious to get to know them...to get to know anyone, to be honest. Not that he doesn't want to because probably under different circumstances, he may have been a geniunely good friend, but thanks to what has happened in his past, he doesn't dare trust himself around others, especially around his own sex. They are too easily led, and they would never understand him the way his mother does. People would consider him rather cruel, but watch him closely away from others, and you would see a whole new side to him. He is still a teenager, after all. Though, he has had over seventeen years of experience on his shoulders, it has to be taken into consideration that he does have an old head on his shoulders, which makes him too serious at times and has to be pushed a little to 'lighten up'. The person that does see the proper sensitive side of Miles would be his closest couple of friends. One part of gim that no-one wants to be anywhere near with is his temper. People do say that it is the quietest that are the most dangerous and that is definitely connected to him. His temper is like a time-bomb...it can get pushed and pushed and pushed until a certain point where it gets just too much, and the bomb explodes, sending him into a full-on storm, throwing and yelling as much as he can! The most dangerous part of him has always been this. No-one wants to be near him when he's angry, trust me on that. Now, he's not as bad as he used to be. Always wanting to forget his wand so he could hit any Gryffindor as hard as he could. Miles seems to take his time a little now, normally being held back by one of my friends. It isn't that he wants to be angry, but little things would rile him up so much that it would literally feel like it was building up within him, burning all the way to the top until its released in a hex or a thump. What sparks him sometimes would be a mudblood thinking that they were better than him or even a girl being beaten. (Miles is cruel, but he would never beat anyone, even muggleborns. Any of those happening sends me into a sea of red. Miles is like a proper Slytherin. It was such a special moment between the parents and the baby that no-one would have thought for a moment that something devastating would almost break this bond a few years later. Oh, how wrong they were, but for the first four years, Miles Gerwyn Bletchley had the most normal childhood a child could get, getting everything a baby could want, and loving it. The worst year for the Bletchleys had to be when Miles went missing for three weeks. He had simply been playing outside on his own, and when Rose had come out to fetch him in for dinner, he was gone. No sound, no marks , nothing. Just gone. Of course, like a mother, she was frantic to find her little boy and spent those three long weeks searching and calling for him to come home. Through those weeks, Miles lost all track of time. All he knew was pain, screams of anguish, and dark laughter when he was beaten someone for the first time. Although knowing that Euan had been an alcoholic, she never knew her husband would do such cruel things. Part of Miles's childish innocence was lost during that period, something that could never be given back. He was eventually brought back, but he had changed. Gone was the lovable, giggly little boy. He was now replaced with a pale, quiet and jumpy little boy. He tried to stay away from his father as much as he could as he grew up, not trusting himself to be around him and not wanting to fulfill his nightmares of finding his mum beaten to death. Though, he soon began to realise where the Hufflepuff side of his family began to appear. Regardless of what he now was, his mother refused to give up on him and tried her very hardest every day to try and reach the boy they knew was still in there somewhere, fighting to get out. They went to St. Mungos and spoke to specialist Healers about his condition (only when Euan was at work) and were told that she had to talk to her son and leave her violent husband. Easier said than done. For some strange reason, Miles managed to get himself thinking that he would never get the chance to go to Hogwarts because he was a danger to himself and that he couldn't leave his mum alone with that bastard, but some angel must've wanted to answer his prayer, and decided to send him the letter of his acceptance. Part of him couldn't believe that he was actually going to learn how to use magic and other part of him was terrified of being tempted like this. When the time came (after a teary farewell from his mother) he found himself at the ancient school in awe like all the other first years. It was such an amazing place that he couldn't wait to explore and find out as much about it as possible. His biggest shock was at the Sorting when he found that he was Sorted into Slytherin! He hadn't expected to be in the family House because it stood for loyalty and he had kept himself away from others, but never had he thought he'd be put into such a dark House. Was he really that bad? A few people stared at his odd appearance at first, but one girl that he had said hello to on the train told him to come and sit next to her and from that moment, more students spoke to him and for the first time in years, Orion was laughing. He was feeling normal! With fellow purebloods. Since then, he has changed...for the better and for the worst. The paleness his skin held began to fade, his eyes lost its loneliness and began to show its once chocolate brown. Slytherin actually taught that purebloods were superior above the other races and that mudbloods should be thrown out of their pure world. He had never expected Hogwarts to have such a change on his life, but it has. Now that Miles has reached his last year, everyone including his mother (who has left Euan) have had the chance to get to know the boy who he would've been if he hadn't been beaten. The fun, laughing, arty, sometimes cruel Miles. Though secretly, he is petrified of leaving. He has managed to avoid every trace of his father, thanks to his mother living with her sister, but his dad has been lurking with his apologies and pleads for forgiveness.
