quidditch has been a well-respected sport within the wizarding world for generations, bringing witches and wizards alike together as a team to compete in the ultimate game upon brooms. hogwarts has carried on the sport for years, letting school houses create their own teams so to go against one another in competitions to see which house has the best team.
only second years and above may tryout for their house team and it is the team captains' final decision. only in recent years, ladies have been given the opportunity to play such a violent sport since in the olden days, it was considered a scandal for females to be undressed and dirtied whilist playing, although while most houses are now allowing them, slytherin still remains entirely male so no female is allowed to tryout for this house.
any applicant for the captain and co-captain position must take under consideration that it is a full-time job being the captain so no prefects may apply and they must be seventh year. under no circumstances must the position be abused because if that does happen, strict punishments will be given and the title stripped away. students must have thirty posts before applying.
all team-members must keep active unless they wished to be voted off the team.
