do I look big in this;

appearance::

Ron has, like all the Weasleys, red hair. It is the only way for people to guess what family he belongs to. He is actually proud of his hair because it really matchs with his personality and he is proud of bearing it. He feels that it is actually cool to have different hair because even though he gets the really bad sunburn if he stays in the sun too long, keeping forever pale, he can stay out longer if he takes the proper precautions. His mother had once called him the ‘tiny sun’ when he had been younger because of the way his hair had shone bright whenever the sun had shone on it. It also meant that he represents his family and that is the best feeling in the world for him.

When you look at Ron, you cannot fail to miss his eyes. Identical to his dad’s in shape, colour, and brightness, and yet maybe different as well. Sure, it held the typical greenish tinge, but if you took a closer look, you would see that maybe it was a hint brighter. They were even quite sharp and aware, good for playing Keeper. It was a known thing that you couldn’t beat him in a staring contest because he could stare forever and not blink, and he always watches when he plays chess. Ron's height sometimes is an advantage, especially when he is over 6’0 and could tower over the many students that went through Hogwarts or even use this height for watching out for possible caretakers that were on the prowl to catch them. Taking a look at the rest of his features, Ron has taken the ‘long nose’ of his Mum – something he uses to sniff out sweets most of the time since Hermione likes to take it upon herself to hide any that he brought. It wasn''t his fault that he had a low sugar level most of the time and needed the odd top-up. Well, he didn’t need the sugar, really, because it was like he was on a permanent rush, but who says that everyone has to know that. His freckles, another Weasley trait, covers his entire face, his arms, his legs, everywhere! Not that he minds, of course. The girls seemed to be driven mad by them, saying that they made him look young and hot. A guy couldn’t complain with that now, could he?

Like most of the Weasley, Ron plays Quidditch whenever he can. Whether it be at home with his brothers and Harry or just practising on with the team. Years of the game had sculptured him into quite a strong person. Not with massive muscles and broad shoulders, but with a more toned look. He could be considered rather plain, but it was the way he was and he might end up growing out of it. Now comes the one thing that, over the last year, has caught the attention of a number of girls. Ron’s smile. His mother had always said that he had a smile that would melt hearts, but he was most of the time oblivious to this. Most of the girls (under his nose) described this ‘gift’ has a small button smile, cute and mysterious. He likes to use this smile like some like to use ‘puppy-dog eyes’. If he needs someone to do a favour, it’s down with the eyes and a quick shine of the smile, quirking up at one end, and a sure thing to melt the coldest of hearts...a trick he pulls on Hermione when he needs some help with his homework. When he laughs, his whole face brightens up and turns into a cheeky, devilish grin, showing the whole of his teeth.

Ron isn't someone who is all that bothered with his fashion, seeing as that is a girl thing, and because he hasn't the money to buy new things, let's say he looks a little rough around the edges sometimes. While at Hogwarts (classtime), he wears the appropriate black robes, letting it hang loosely on his shoulders and sometimes over his arm when he doesn’t feel like being the proper student. Comfort is the main thing and you can’t do that when you have a tie strangling you six hours of the day, meaning that it isn’t always in the knot that it’s meant to. The light-grey jumper is worn perfectly in class but as soon as he steps out the door, he whips it off and around his waist, top button opened with a sigh and shirt-sleeves pulled up to the elbow. It isn’t easy wearing this uniform in the deadly Hogwarts sunny days. Moving onto the normal side of things, Ron, with the help of Ginny, has gotten better with what he wears outside, much to the disgust of fellow purebloods. If you looked in his wardrobe, you’d see blazers, sun-lightened jeans with a few rips through them, the craziest t-shirts you had ever seen with lines like ‘I love old people’ and ,the typical Weasley jumpers for cold nights, and his old trainers that are loved to the point of madness seeing as they are almost peeling away from the seams. He does have a Chudley Cannons t-shirt in the back too, but only where’s it at bedtime. It is a sure thing to put him asleep out of comfort and homeliness.

personality:

Ron is...well...a complicated character. A better way to describe him would be that he was a person of three bits:

I; One side of him which is happy, laughing and always up for a laugh with his friends. Someone with a great sense of humour. If Ron is having a great day and things have been going right, he walks around with a wide smile. If he sees someone with a scowl or looks upset, he heads straight over to that person and stays there until he gets them to smile with him. The Gryffindors call it the his’ ‘Clown Smile’, joking and coming up with the most stupid things just because he wants to help out anyone.

II; One side of him that is shadowed by his two best friends and the rest of his family. For as long as Ron can remember, he has wanted to be seen as an individual, to be seen for something he has done really well, and not because he's the little brother of the Weasley twins, or the best friend to the famous Harry Potter or to the smartest witch in the school. Every time one of them achieves, anything he had done was instantly forgotten...or that's what he feels happens.

III; The following leads onto his most dangerous trait: his temper. No-one wants to be near Ron when he is angry. Now, he isn't as bad as he used to be. Always wanting to forget his wand so he could hit Malfoy as hard as he could. He takes his time a little now, normally being held back by Harry holding him or Hermione laying a hand on his arm. It isn't that he wants to be angry, but little things would rile him up so much that could literally feel it building up within him, burning all the way to the stop until its released in a hex or a thump. What sparks him sometimes would be a nasty mention of his family, the fact that he's poor, that Harry was a good-for-nothing nobody, Hermione being called a Mudblood or someone he loved getting hurt for no reason. Any of those happening sending him into a sea of red.
A lot of people would say that he is angry most of the time with his female best friend because they argue all the time, but that isn't true. Of course he could get throughly annoyed with her if she is sounding like she knows everything or is going on at him for doing something stupid, but the reason why he argues with her is that they clash. They do have similar attitudes and never like to back down, causing them to rant at each othe until they both storm away from each other or he makes her cry, sending him into a wave of guilt. It isn't a secret that Ron can't deal with a girl that cries. He goes into a jumbling mess all the time, not knowing what to do with himself and occasionally looking to Harry for help. Girls. Girls aren’t such a big puzzle as they once were when he had been younger and he now sees them as a treasure to look at and sometimes dream about but don’t even get it into your head that he would ever be ‘that way’ with them. He wouldn’t dare do that and anyone who did deserved to die in a slow painful death. No, Ron respects girls and their wishes. A sign of his proper upbringing. He would never push a girl into doing something she didn’t feel comfortable in or do anything inhumane. It made him almost sick thinking about. No. He would take things slow and be quite the romantic – not the cheesy time, always bringing the girls flowers and singing love songs, but just go on walks around the lake, making her laugh and making her feel so special.

Now when friends come into the mix, Ron is very loyal. He will be there for any of his friends that need someone to talk to and will defend anyone if they came under attack from someone. He absolutely hates people being bullied because of their blood. He spends most of his time, making his friends laugh and just having all types of fun with them. Friends are what help to almost fuel Ron in a way, and he wouldn't be afraid to admit to them (regardless of manliness) that they are important to him.

it's a family affair;

mother and occupation: molly weasley [house-wife]

father and occupation: arthur weasley and works for the misuse of muggle artifacts department]

brothers:
  • Bill Weasley.
  • Charlie Weasley.
  • Percy Weasley.
  • Fred Weasley.
  • George Weasley.
sisters:
  • Ginny Weasley
other relatives: ---
history:

Arthur and Molly hasn't been so shocked when they found they were expecting a baby boy, seeing as they already had five already. Though, it had been quite a dangerous birth because like today, Ron was abnormally stubborn and stayed in as long as he could eventually appearing to a pair of relieved parents and a crying Percy. Born on March 1st meant the start of the biggest joy and nightmare in possibly Molly’s life.

All of Ron’s childhood and time growing up was spent with his siblings, in each others’ company all day and every day, and when Ginny was born, the two clicked, mainly because they were closest in age. If he was taken away from her or likewise with Ginny, they cried and cried until the one that had been taken away was brought back, leaving them with a cute reunion. The whole sibling-ness was obvious, knowing whenever one of them had fallen down or had something was wrong. Their parents were driven mad, but after a few talks and time to mature more, both decided that it was better to separate and be less clingy, living their own lives and yet still finding time to be together and appreciate one another’s company. This was enforced with Ron's time of goinf to Hogwarts.

When he found out that he was going, Ron already knew the drill, thanks to listening to his mum's ramblings to his brothers every year and the trip to Kings Cross. He was forced at wand point and under a threat of no Quidditch when he got home after his first year to read Hogwarts: A History, which he secretly stuffed at the bottom of his trunk. There was so much to learn and see and do that it was almost overwhelming, but thanks to his parents’ calm words and smiles on the way, it calmed him down and finally got him to the point of excitement. He was finally off to Hogwarts. Though, Ron's moment on that train changed his life forever because it was the time when he met a shy, bespeckled boy. A young Harry Potter. He'd been nervous at first because he'd heard all about what Harry had done when he'd been a baby and had expected him to be snobby and look like one of the heroes in his comics, but he wasn't. That was probably why the two boys got on so well and ended up discussing the Wizarding World and sharing sweets. The calm that Ron had felt from the station disappeared as soon as he saw the Sorting Hat. He had been told by Fred and George that they had to face a angry troll as a test to get into the school, which had been obviously been wrong when he'd seen the leather hat on the stool but having to have it placed on his head and trembling at the thought he had might end up in Slytherin sent Ron's nerves up and it took a lot to stop him running right out of that Great Hall.

“You Weasleys keep coming and coming, don’t you?”
"Erm....y-yeah."
”Hmm...yes...I see it...I know just where to put you...GRYFFINDOR!"
