THE RECKONING: (the rìk'ə-nĭng)
1. Judgement, retribution
2. The time when one is called to account for one's actions, to fulfill one's promises or obligations
3. Slang term for the vaccine secretly created by the Ministry in 2030 that would systematically wipe out all wizards who were not of pureblooded origin so quickly it was deemed "the reckoning."

diagon alley streets ;; Tapping just the right brick in the wall behind the Leaky Cauldron in London will reveal an archway which is a portal into Diagon Alley, a long cobbled street where is to be found a strange and exciting assortment of shops and restaurants. It is unquestionably the hub of commerce in the British wizarding world, with virtually every wizarding business stationed there.

gringotts wizarding bank ;; The once prestigious looking marble facade of Gringott's Wizarding Bank has been completely leveled - all that remains are a few crumbling walls that have been roped off to the public. Charms and spells prevent people from entering as Ministry officials warily keep watch from the streets. While the underground vaults remain in tact, the bank itself has been closed off for repairs and further investigation as to the so-called "terrorist" attack of November 15.

witch weekly offices ;; As the headquarters of a popular magazine, the Witch Weekly offices are usually bustling. Busy employees rush in and out in the midst of various tasks and people waiting to be interviewed for the famous gossip column sit in a relatively calm waiting room. Even though the country is currently very conflicted, there's still a large demand for Witch Weekly's juicy tidbits of gossip.

Once a cheeful albeit shabby place, the Leaky Cauldron has now lost a lot of business because of the Ministry's repressive regime. The pub marks the barrier between the Muggle world and Diagon Alley.

The hospital is located in an abandoned Muggle department store so the general public doesn't notice it. In the last few years, St. Mungo's has been full of people infected by the Reckoning, so things are pretty grim here.

knockturn alley streets ;; Before the Renaissance took over, Knockturn Alley was a place for dark wizards to meet in secret and furtively exchange illegal goods. Now, the dark Knockturn Alley is more popular than Diagon Alley, since the Ministry actually endorses what goes on here. The cloaks and secrecy remain, though, because some people never change their ways.

A worn-out wooden sign hangs over the door, displaying a rather gruesome hog's head. Their house is modest in size, with Gothic decor to match their tastes. Of course, it gets a little messy with six blood-sucking creatures living there.

223 harvard court #13D ;; Don't be fooled by the fancy street name, the neighborhood that houses Margot Finch-Fletchley's decrepit flat is neither collegiate nor courtly. Instead, it's rundown and filled with rather shady looking characters. Then again, what more could one expect when they decide to shack up in a one room "loft" styled flat situated above a pub?

9900 klumm drive ;; Not too shabby. Actually, it's rather pleasant and quaint. With a first look at it, you would automatically think "Hey, Minnie lives there!" Because she does. And that was the kind of look she was going for. A fair amount of rooms, all with the taste and style of Minerva. Most all the rooms are white, except her bedroom, which is much more personal. But you won't be seeing that any time soon, right?

1266 southwark park road, bermondsey ;; To be completely frank, Penny and Mab's apartment is dismal. It's in a building set to be evicted and demolished within a year, but the rent is cheap, since it's probably illegal to let anyone actually live there, and she also gets the added benefit of a previous tenant's artistic flair in the form of a faded blue and green map of the world painted on one of the whitewashed brick walls. The entire apartment is one large room with a section partitioned out for her bathroom and is sparsely furnished with whatever can be picked up cheaply at street markets. Penny's hardly attached to any of her belongings except her bike, for public transportation in Bermondsey is always a bit sketchy. When the girls are at home, it's always right inside the door, the robin's egg blue brightening up the bare flat.

17 eastwood drive ;; Perseus never cleans this place because he never has time, what with being a spy and meeting up with various girls in his free time. It's his refuge, the one place where he doesn't have to worry about who is watching him. Of course, he combs the apartment for enemy spells daily, and ever since he heard about Muggle listening devices he has become paranoid.

1813 alove lane, apt. 7 ;; Beatrix's home, simply put, is a cross between a tragedy and a masterpiece. Small and slightly cramped, it's spacious enough for one person, though there always seems to be enough room when someone needs someplace to stay. One combined living and dining room joined to the kitchen make up the front and a small hallway leads into a single bedroom and bathroom in the back. The only pieces in of furniture in the living room she has are a low coffee table surrounded by large cushions on which she uses as chairs and a chair on the far left of the door, placed by the window and surrounded by towers of books. The rest of the space is filled with clutters of carpets, pillows, cushions and blankets of every color on the planet. Off the ceiling hangs just about every kind of wind chime you've ever seen and the walls are painted dark orange, dark red, gold and maroon. The floor is littered with magazines, books and all sorts of paintings and drawings that can keep one interested for not hours, but days. The apartment also always smells like cookies. It's one place where you'll always find or notice something new.

1525 east barrows st. The flat of Isobel Greyback hangs on the edge of being in complete chaos if you look at it just right. It isn’t as if she’s a messy person but rather the fact she owns too many worthless things that really caring to value to her. Decorated in a strict Asian influence, gold, reds and blacks tend to be the main color scheme lingering along the walls and furniture that lines the home. Located in the top floor of a rather old business building her apartment is only reachable by a small shaft elevator that goes up to the one large room flat on the top floor. After ending inside various plants and pictures she has painted over the years line the walls around making the place a rather typical apartment. Being one large room everything tends to flow together, her kitchen is only separated from the rest by a small table bar that’s used a table. As for the rest her bed room is on the left side of the room with nothing separating it from the living room that’s located on the right side beside the kitchen. The only room that is made is a small bathroom that is rather dull if you ask her. Sadly the only thing ever home in her loft is her small black cat Anubis and her on those rare moments where she just wants to be in her own world.
